I love these kinds of games, where you are balanced on a knife edge. I agree, things don't look great for you. The Sakkra are in an incredible position. They are right next to a weaker but creative opponent that they can basically farm for tech. Keeping you off balance and unable to concentrate strength or build out enough spies to protect your tech advantage is helping them a ton.
Fight them till the end ! With skill (and maybe some luck) you should get a point where you'll be able to grab their systems. Then the galaxy is yours !
indeed a mod that makes this possible. all missile types can have the 3-ammo. it greatly benefits the AI, that would otherwise come with 5-ammo, and combats rarely go into round 5.

Very exciting early warfare here, those interceptors are pretty good for defense huh? I was surprised how effective they were without Fusion Beam

He modded the game so there is a 3 shot option now, not just 2 and 5

Is leaders_no_limit working? I see there's a hash before it.
it's not enabled in my mods. if you want to activate it, remove the hash :)
