No shame in a loss, especially while making great plays with a bad hand being dealt. Bit unfortunate start with that colony getting bombed early, which cost a lot, and starting next to sakkra when one of the priorities is to avoid contact as long as possible. I think if the starting systems where swapped between sakkra and you, we would have seen an entirely different game. Also want to believe that you enjoy the difficulty. One of the reasons I respect you, your work and content is because you're doing hardcore ironman runs on the highest difficulty and versus an AI that you buffed yourself. Thanks for your comment! Indeed, it is best for this race, or rather this passive playstyle, to start in a corner and stay out of harmsway for about 150 turns. Having the Sakkra as an aggressive neighbour, lowers chances of survival dramatically.
Great game. You've lost, but you've put up a great fight.... a great resistance. It wasn't easy for Sakkra at all. I wish I try this hard in my own games, and not to give up in much earlier stages. Learned some stuff from you, and will browse you channel more to learn some new tricks.

if you cannot configure dosbox their is an alternative way:
rename original ORION2.EXE to something else; then rename ORION150.EXE to ORION2.EXE
