How I would love to go there. What a wonderful experience. I have been a cook all my life. What a treat to get to go to the kitchen. That has always been on my bucket list, to go to a high-end place like this and get to see the kitchen. Each dish looked fantastic. Thank you for sharing this. I truly enjoyed it.
So nice that you were able to share such an awesome experience with your mom! And also that you brought Amie back to try the bread and butter- I ❤ that! Thanks for letting us get a sneak peak into that kitchen- so clean and precise. One day when I win the lottery I will definitely have a meal there!

Oh my God I live right here in New York and I never heard of that restaurant but thank you for sharing this pose because I just start going vegan so I’m definitely going to go. Everything looks so delicious.
As a vegan, I've watched several videos about EMP. This was by far the best! I'm not rich, so I doubt I'll ever dine there personally. This was a great vicarious experience, though.
You lost me at $365+ per person lol. I almost choked on my chicken wing 😂 I’m glad your mom enjoyed the experience. And it’s always nice when she makes an appearance on your channel. Great video, Josh 🙌🏽
Very cool. I’ve eaten at Addison. It is my favorite Michelin star experience so far. I’ve been trying to get a reservation at French Laundry for 2 years with no luck.
Hello most unusual meal i have seen in years .To be vegan is hard to cook vegan harder because think of the thought behind the preparation .Its wonderful how close your family is and nicer that it was just you and your mom. Your loyal fan of your channel and the one and only Pops Larry from Valley stream, ny
I don't know why everything has to be a kind of "team" these days, why you have to choose a side. Well, maybe social media. Anyway, I'm not vegan but there is absolutely great vegan food. Simple as that. That looked really interesting.
My favorite restaurant anywhere! I’m a lifelong vegetarian and I cook all the time. Vedge blew me away! I live in the Bay Area now and we have some good restaurants but nothing close to Vedge.
When I saw the price I was thinking....oh no, another overpriced NY restaurant....but sure looks like you got your money's worth! I'm not a vegan either, but I'd definitely try it!!
That's really nice you took ur mom to this but around 8-900 dollars for two people is ridiculous for the meals you got. I couldnt do vegan lol I would be wanting some meat options and MORE food in general lol. Keep these coming tho. I really enjoy these videos. Keep living it up!
"Unreasonable Hospitality" opens with a story about how shite it is to be voted the 50th best restaurant in the world. I feel like she's going to eventually tell a story about how stupid they were, but it's right there. Open up and "We were pissed that we weren't 'better'." Doesn't make me want to keep reading. Makes me think "that's not very hospitable. yet the book is about being hospitable. so it's all a sham? yeah, the secret is just not letting it show." I remember watching a real good tube about cooking on a giant cruise ship. It was all very fascinating. And the food at the grand dining room looked very nice. BUT they also showed the assembly line required for a 1200 chair seating and mentioned that it was like 90 minutes, in and out, make way for the next 1200 seating. When you see the kid whose job it is to put the three basil leaves on the baby pizza justttt soooo. And it looks like all the others... When you see the guy half squeeze the bread half out of the half envelope just the right way... you see that he's not providing smooth elegant service, but showing off so you can feel special in the way that only perfectly executed shams can make the pedestrian feel. You may have dined at Barnum Bailey, but not Bertie Wooster's. Which makes sense considering it's a vegan joint.
I was gonna say that the world's best vegan restaurant (which is probably actually in India) sounds like the world's best kick in the nuts. I almost thought better, but then you said $365 plus per person. At least you've had kids already ...
My mom been gone 35 years. Love every second of your elders. But I can say as I , no way I’d spend that kinda $ on so little food 800 plus would have fed us for months .bought year of yarn for me to crochet for homeless/cancer
Wow that's awesome you got to take your mom . A great experience too . 😊
A truly awesome experience that was fun just to watch, as it is just way out of our league. Good to see your mom too. Keep ‘em coming.

Love the surprise at the end by the host!
Great to meet your mom in this one. A dining experience that most of us won't have.
Seeing the professionalism in the kitchen was amazing!
Going with your mom made the video totally lovable
What a cool and unique experience! Glad you both enjoyed the meal. That final drink looked so cool.

I would spend that much to experience it but i would want some meat options lol. I would hope for some A5 Japanese Wagyu or more lol.
I've paid less than that for a good meal. But that was 20 years plus ago. So yeah, I can see it. Especially with the NYC overburden.
😂😂😂
Yep. I almost choked on my baloney sandwich on white bread! 😂
Wonderful video.Just loved it🌟
Wait. What?!??! There's a Michelin Star VEGAN restaurant?!?!? I. Must. Go. Thanks for sharing!
Looked like a great experience 👌
Very nice…. Thanks for sharing!

@@Cappy609nobody cares about your crappy restaurant
That artichoke look scrumdillious! Great to see Mom!
Very interesting👍 wonderful to see that it is not necessary to kill animals for meat/food! Thanks, Josh!

I live in nw Iowa and am a vegan so it was really fun to see the Sioux Falls and EMP videos less than a week apart!

EXCELLENT!
When the bread is the best dish of the night in a $360 menu 😂😂😂
Very interesting 👍
Wow beautiful and healthy ❤
Jealous! Ever been to Vedge in Philadelphia? I used to work on the line there.
My favorite restaurant anywhere! I’m a lifelong vegetarian and I cook all the time. Vedge blew me away! I live in the Bay Area now and we have some good restaurants but nothing close to Vedge.
I need to try this sometime.
It better be good. It better sing and dance “Dixie”!
Looks amazing, and how fun to go with your mom! Would love to try it, but do you know if they can accommodate a gluten-free diet?
When I saw the price I was thinking....oh no, another overpriced NY restaurant....but sure looks like you got your money's worth! I'm not a vegan either, but I'd definitely try it!!
amazing. I can never digest being hungry after paying so much for a meal :)
They probably made that drink because you had a camera. AWESOME

Wow😱
Did you go get a burger afterwards?
Cool experience but so expensive 😅

Question: Did you have to get permission to video this dinner experience (and visiting the kitchen) before entering the establishment?
He answered that at 5:14 Did you not watch the video?
@@andyleo8418 Yes, I did. Never did say anything about getting permission to video the entire dinner experience.
When you pay for a show at the dinner table.

400 a person to eat vegan ....I'm dead
But have you been to Vedge in Philadelphia? Better check it out before rendering a decision on the best in the world.
I wouldn't pay that much for prime rib and I would never try vegan do vegan even though I eat vegetables but it was interesting to watch
Hi! Do you edit videos yourself or you hired someone? I’m an editor and would love to discuss, if you’re interested
You must be making a lot of money on these videos to waste it
Yea I agree better be careful with this kind of video.
More proof that going vegan is an expensive scam 🤣
How is caviar vegan??? Lol, i will never take vegans serious
Because it’s not. They served tonburi as he mentioned in the video.
I would not eat that stuff at any price
Why not.

What an experience😊 the price is hard to swallow tho! Good to see your mom!
@@waykool698 it’s a business write off for his UA-cam channel. Plus it’s another video in his arsenal. He’s killing it I’m sure. 👍
