Damn. Look, I tip heavily, but if I go to a restaurant and 1 full meal is over $300, then the wait staff should just be getting a good salary, and I don't think a tip is necessary there. The high service should just be standard at a Michelin place, not something I need to pay extra for.
They used to be "service included", but then removed it and didn't lower their prices (as far as I'm aware). Agree with you about the expected standard at a Michelin place - I wish they would include service in the overall price.
Thanks for the insightful and polished video. Radishes were my sister's favorite so I always make sure to include them in every meal, particularly in special occasion meals so it was nice to see they had a FULL radish course. The price tag of this meal is out of my budget but it was very nice, as a vegetarian, to see.

No matter how you dress up a street hot dog, it's still probably the worst product of the meat industry... I wouldn't expect any respectable chef to put that on my plate 😐Very interesting video though, thanks for sharing. I love the fact that they retained the stars after turning vegan, that's super impressive. Nice to see what it's like in reality.

Is there a dress code? We've never been there but we are going in a few week. The website says no dress code/dress casual/business casual. But really, I don't think that's not entirely true. Also the website say gratuities is included. idk
Check the FAQs on their website (linked below). Gratuities are NOT included, which was the case when we dined at EMP in December 2023. And while they say no dress code, don't take that too literally - you should still look nice with clean shoes and a thoughtful outfit. You'll get better service and feel better about yourself! well i wouldnt go to a vegan restaurant ever doesnt matter if it's 3 stars and if it's best restaurant of the year but 1.200 for 2 people and with so many flaws i would be dissapointed, where i work we always have a cake ready for customers that have their birthday and we are not expensive hotel.
@@cryptohalloffame They can do better on the price and the service can be a little faster, but if we are judging just the food, there is no match in my personal opinion.

This is the BEST Restaurant in NYC as of this year 2024.
Not sure I would call it this way. I went to 11MP with my wife last year - it was amazingly great, but best - not sure.
