READ ME!!!! If you're wondering why you might have seen this video twice, know that this is a reupload. While trying to upload a new video, I accidentally deleted this video while it was sitting at around 7k views. Real dumbass behavior. The video editing software I use is hitfilm express. I'm not sure if it's a personal issue or just a thing with the software in general, but when I export videos at base volume they end up being a little quiet, so I end up having to boost it up. This results in me uploading test videos to UA-cam to see if the audio is correct. You might see where this is going. After uploading a test video for a new upload, I went to delete it and my video deleting muscle memory kicked in even though I hovered over the Risk of Rain 2 upload instead of the other one. So I ended up being forced to reupload my video. I have no idea how many views that this will get, I just hope it receives at least a fair percentage of the views and watch time it got originally. I never take the support I get for granted, and I wish all my viewers the best. Be well.
Came on my homepage and clicked. Was not disappointed at all! I’m not too new, but I’m not familiar with it yet, so it’s nice to get this info! Great video.
@@twilink5810 yes at all... I've got 250hours + literally the only defining thing each run is having multiple stacks of an item you normally get any other run anyway. Also coop sucks if you die, you might as well just give all your items to a teammate because catch-up is really harsh.
@@twilink5810 Stop assuming I'm dumb and don't know what roguelikes are just because you disagree with my take. There are plenty of roguelikes that are different every single run... The Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, FTL, Monster Train etc etc. So no I'm not defining the whole genre when I say all runs are the same because roguelikes are built off the concept of replayability... Therefore risk of rain is C tier because you pick up every item in the game on 80-90% of runs which isn't replayable for me. Like I said before though I love the art style and soundtrack, they are amazing. Also every game is good with mods so while I get that point I don't necessarily count it as a win for the game itself.
heavily disagree because of one major thing: items are almost entirely rng. there's so much potential for cool builds, but the onoy way to experience those cool builds is to use artifact of command, which makes you so insanely overpowered and your runs so repetitive that using it comes with its own problems. the game 100% needs a middle ground. also the game has too many unfair enemies honestly. stone titan beam half the time lags just behind you so you can outrun it, teaching you that you can play outside of cover if you're careful, but the other half the time it tracks you perfectly which means you actually cant risk being out of cover ever. wisps, as easy as they are, are also extremely unfair. there's no way to dodge them, just luck, which makes them very good at ending runs, especially once you start getting higher tier elite version. there's also a ton of items that just, automate gameplay. you press one button and the entire screen dies. some dont even require you to press a single button at all. that isnt fun at all. exploring the map inside and out for chests isnt either frankly. Risk of Rain 2 is hardly perfect. it has a solid foundation, but it needs a lot of work to be a high quality game. doesnt mean it cant be fun though

This is the biggest disaster for Tihshooheads around the globe!
All the stuff mentioned in this video and more are why I adore Risk of Rain 2. No game is truly for everyone, but y’all have to at least try this.
tbh one of the best videos I've seen in a while. also kinda a crazy shine of order
Banger game, with a Banger soundtrack
That's a really good video, keep going man!! Sound points and good structure!!

Babe wake up new tihshoo reupload
okay you sold me on this game.
good video.
Amazing video, but watching you get rid of the backup magazine as huntress at 2:58 made me die inside a little
Great video, instant sub
Aint no way you scrapped the backup mags while playing huntress
What's the game called at 01:12 ?
I believe that is Bioshock, all three of them are very good and highly recommended.
cool, but try Noita
Blitz is cool too and even more brutal but not the same approach of the rogue like genre
Risk of Rain 2 is C tier at best. Outstanding soundtrack and art style. But every run is the same.
No at all man , have you play the game ? And if it's not enough there is a ton of mods.

@@bootrfangers you're describing the rogue like genre so all the genre is c tier for you ^^

I disagree I don’t like the time mechanic
That's the thing making it quite original and at some point the time is not an issue except if you play a modded difficulty.

If you’re playing a roguelike and are mad about rng items then you need to find another kind of game to play
