The whole completionist game concept with fomo really makes me appreciate Deep Rock Galactic and its seasonal pass system. If there is an item in the season pass that you dont unlock, it gets put into the lootpool or in game shop, and they always give you past hats or cosmetics that you get from holiday events next year. I wish more games were like that.
this didn't age well not because they locked players out of previous seasonal content or anything, they just allow players to now access previous seasons, their content and season passes at literally any point so that you can unlock the stuff you missed and want naturally by playing without relying on getting them out of the growing loot pool
My issue with voidling is I have absolutely no reason to even go there in the first place. I wish that all of the survivors had some void based abilities, or at least a few of them had some alt skills based around void. There is a mod called voidcrid that gives a whole set of alt void skills for acrid and it's really cool to see that kind of stuff. I like when the classes have a set of alt skills that go into a different theme or playstyle, especially when it's lunar or void based.
Do you feel like your runs have been easier or harder with multitude 8? I think it's very cool even if there's no difference because slightly more loot means slightly higher chance of certain builds happening like fmp, but do you think it is balanced?
Not balanced at all, even when I have reduced loot by so much any amount of extra items means the game is easier (when in reasonable player difficulties)

When are you going to add artifacts to eclipse for difficulty, if ever? (Specifically like spite, swarms, honor, etc) The ones that make the game harder.
i'm on that same mindset lol, but i still gotta start the eclipse grind i only have railgunner and viend left to get the monsoon skin, and then ill start
i think there needs do be more mid/post mithrix bosses that have their own stages. and more item syngergies like isaac, imagine gas made atg apply fire dmg instead or uk
His talk about Fiji events and games becoming jobs is why I quit destiny 2 I have over 240 days worth of play time on that game and haven’t touched it since stasis came out and every time I think about getting back into it I realize how much catching up I’ll have to do and just lose motivation
Yeah i’ll be honest i’ve stopped myself from even starting or quit a game or three i’ve really liked because of the whole “aw man sucks you didn’t have my game now you’ll never get this item ever” and it sucks lol.
Disputed origin did the 32p difficulty run. Basically all that spawns is elite boss monsters with tens or hundreds of millions of health at stage 1. You don't have to hide on a rock off the map but you're locked into 1 of 2 playstyles, those being 1) captain with diablo strike/crowbars where you use diablo every 3 minutes to get 1 kill and 2) acrid with poison/guillotines, where you hit an enemy then run for a while so the poison damage can tick down to kill them with guillotine. Basically none of the items except movement speed and crowbar/guillotine are meaningful to stack, which makes the game horribly boring to play since its all just waiting around for enemies to die.
