Seems like a fantastic idea then if youre running multiple items on the roof you could run 5 or 7 multicore to the roof and have them individually switched.
Yes! All you need are the power and ground cables going straight into the control box. I now run several lighting systems+ARB Twin air compressor into it and it works great.
Hey man! 1) Thank you for making this video, it was my first time installing a switch panel and couldn’t have done it without this vid!🙌🏻 2) I have the same issue with the fuse box (03 GX), you said you got a fuse extender to use the seat heaters, which fuse extender did you get? Right now I’m hooked up to the power windows and the switch panel stays lit 24/7 😅 Thanks!
I know this is a bit off topic from the video, but I plan on lifting my GX pretty soon. I’ve never used forums before so I thought it’d be easier to ask here. My GX has factory air bags still. Do I need to buy an airbag delete kit in addition to the lift kit?
No worries on the topic, check out my video on the Eibach Pro-Truck lift install. I cover the rear install pretty well but got too tired of filming on the front-end lol Most kits specifically for the GX470 will give you everything needed to delete the bags. Follow the Metal Tech 4x4 instructions to determine which fuses to pull so you don’t get any error lights on the dash: metaltech4x4.com/content/GX470-GX460-4Runner%20Rear%20Coil%20Conversion%20Kit%20v2.pdf
@@lexus_offroad_adventures Thanks a lot man. Your videos are great, which is why I came here... lol for a reliable source. Probably gonna pick up that Eibach kit as well pretty soon here
That's a quiet decent for the spot of the panel😆
Going to do the same setup! Looks great !
🙌🙌
Very informative! And thank you for all the visuals and no shortcuts!
Did you buy the medium mount for the switch panel on the OrS trim mount?

So did you just cut off the relay and fuse that was on the original
Pod light harness after you tested it ?

I wonder if they make the interior bracket for right hand drive?
Good question, I’m not sure if they do. I’d try to hit them up on instagram @ohanarigsupply

You got it, thanks for watching! Here’s the fuse extender I used along with the fuse tap: amzn.to/3Sn31ZW
