We list both crafter and sprinter in the title as they are one and the same vehicle shell and many of the parts we use fit both types of the van
How to install Auxbeam 12 gang switch panel with remote control AC1200 RGB - Навчання та стиль
Probably the best video of fitting an Auxbeam controller! Great video mate !
Cheers Rob I appreciate that mate 🫶😊
I got the dual panel set from Auxbeam. Such a simple system to fit and I would highly recommend anyone who's just starting to build to go buy one.
😊👍
So simple to use
that made my wiring look so flippin easy. I'll never complain about wiring a van again lol. My brain still aches after watching this, Sam 😄 As ever, much respect🙏- Kenny
You are an honoury sparkling sparky you have served your time 😊👍
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife I am honoured😊 I'll celebrate with a cider at crafty campout in October lol
Another great video, mate! Easy to follow and obviously a well though out product!
Oh how I envy you. All that room in the A-pillars and the dash, where everything in my Crafter is filled with air bags.
But, when I am at that stage, I'll have to find a way to fit one - perhaps a smaller 6-gang unit. Will the relay unit for the 6-gang setup be smaller or just less populated than the 12-gang unit?
Do all Auxbeam switch panels feature remote controls?
Thanks for taking the time to do the video and cheers from across the pond! 🚐☁🍀
just throw the air bags away and fit a resistor then you will have lots of room
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife In a minute, my friend. Unfortunately, the local authorities will not certify the roadworthiness without the factory equipped balloons on the next due date in July... 🙄
Neil's gonna love it 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 you think 🤔
My heads spinning but great video as usual, can you remind me of the link for the rear wheel table please.thanks
sorry I've just seen this I believe I've just answered this on another post
Great vid pal. Do you have a link to purchase in U.K. thanks👍🏻
In the description there is a 15% discount too for subscribers
I have the 8 gang will the remote work with that and can you purchase the remote on its own
Same here. Can we upgrade to the 12 gand reusing the remote wiring? Mine is behind the cladding.
Great question, there is an 8 gang controller
Why not check out auxbeam.com/products/8-gang-wireless-remote-control-for-ra84-switch-panel?_pos=14&_sid=2cd37d14a&_ss=r
The 12 gang switch panel only fits the 12 gang control I believe
I have the 6 switch - its a pain in the ass as you cant turn off the light unless you turn off everything then whats the point of having a swtich in the van
what light do you mean; that you can't turn off?
@@antmck33 Well - you can turn off and on say your light bar - that has a small light to say its on or off, you can turn the whole panel off - each button has a backlight - thats on all the time, unless the swtich itself is turned off. So my scenario is this - i use that in my van, i have the switch setup with my fridge, usb, lights etc. The whole thing is lit up all the time - unless i use a toggle swtich to turn it off - which means turning everything off so it can be dark at night. So then i cant get up in the night and just flick a switch for a light - i have to toggle the Auxbeam back, then press the lights button - then turn the light on. So the two options is (even if the backlight is turned all the way down - and the instructions say something about it will self dim - it doesnt) - leave it on - let it light up the van all the time, or add a toggle relay to turn it off in the middle - which is what Auxbeam support suggested
that sounds like its not wired correctly,
Sam, I do enjoy your videos, but please stop referring to DC negative as earth or ground, you are a qualified electrical engineer and you know it's wrong and misleading. There are a few self builders making a right hash of wiring. So now I'll just get on with enjoying your vids👍
Understood I'll consider myself told off😊
Cheers, all the best. 👍🚐😎
Thanks, you too!
Hi Sam,
Thanks for the video,
I had a reply from Auxbeam refer the labels,
They’ve sent me a
PDF on making and printing your own labels,
If you drop me your email address I’ll send it to you if you want it 👍
That would be great thank you

😊👍
Its on their website - print off stickers, put tape on that - stick them on. Their stickers are so expensive and not directed towards van building
