Vasty A. How do you remoisturize with the green or sand blue magic before wash day?? Just asking want to try the grease but don’t know how I would remoisturize
Ilicia Gordon i just put water on my hair and reseal with grease. it won’t suffocate your hair. i remoisturize on day 4 and wash on day 7 , my hair has gone from shoulder to bra strap length! i now only use water ,JBCO with blue magic. when i feel fancy i use a shea moisture leave in😂😂
Ilicia Gordon and my hair (4C)curls right up , even with my sealed hair in a stretched state which means water can still penetrate your strands after being sealed already. it just takes a couple days for the grease barrier to weaken which allows your hair to be moisturized again. :)
@@janereyrules1083 i remoisturize by misting my hair until i see some shrinkage (about 30%) and then i go in with some grease focusing on my ends, then twist it up after and go about my day until i have to go out, twist outs are my favorite low manipulation style. on some days all i need is a water based cream, the water and rubbing ‘loosens’ the grease so that i can recoat my strands with it! (i hope you get what i mean)
Is it me or what? I find that since I’ve started back using grease, I don’t have to wash my hair as often. I’m trying to stretch it out to 7 to 10 days. I used to wash it twice a week.
I use Jane Carter leave in spray, olive oil and blue magic on the ends of my hair to seal in the moisture. It keeps my hair moisturizer for 4-5 days so I'm able to keep my hands out of my hair more often than not. And yes, this St Louis humidity is ridic!! I find myself prayin for some wind. 😂😂😂😂
I got to get the Indian hemp and castor oil greases!!! Indian Hemp is EVERYTHING! I have the original blue magic and the super sure gro one with Japanese tea leaves!!
Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. You are telling the truth, this winter my scalp has been so dry even with using the oil. I had dry spots and itching. I went to the hair store and bought my old grease, but now they have more selections. I brought the Blue Magic Organics with Castor Oil and when I got home and greased my scalp, baby it did the trick. I'm sorry you'll, I'm going back to what works for me in this season. Maybe when the spring gets here, I'll be going back to the oil. I just subscribed to your channel, thanks again.

Fola Alli so far so good. I mixed it with castor and hemp seed oils and some essential oils and my hair seems to like it but it's still to early to say but I'm not going to give up. I've been consistent with washing weekly and wearing twists 😊
you look so bomb i love the hair color I'm a grease girl i been using isoplus castor oil grease and i love it sooo much you give good tips. p.s i love pink lotion and the smell of it lol keep it old school 😆
I grew up with my mom greasing my scalp & using Vaseline on my skin at my Grandma & Grandpa's house. I tried using Vaseline a few years back & my skin wouldn't stop itching. I recall my scalp being itchy after being greased, but I never made the connection. I wish I could go but on using such a budget friendly product.
I use the african pride daily hydration hair lotion along with blue magic super sure gro.... hopefully my hair grows alot better....I moisturize my hair almost daily with the hair lotion and hair grease... mainly i rub a little bit of grease on my scalp and hair then hair lotion on the ends some of it goes on the scalp...works pretty well....it gets all those bad hairs out to help me grow my Fro...another thing I use plastic afro picks...I no longer use the metal ones...as long as my hair is moisturized I can use the plastic
Oils make my hair and scalp dry. I don't use them anymore only add to conditioner Now I use sulphate shampoos , olive hair cream, mostly stick to hair creams, I deep conditioned at that time I will add some oils to the deep conditioner, put a plastic cap on for a few hours if I have that amount of time. After washing add hair cream, gel if wish and then I put my grease. Now I have no problem with dry hair.
Your skin looks great! I be waiten for your videos to come out because you are entertaining and keep it real. On top of that, you have a lot of wisdom that these younger girls on UA-cam don't know nothing about. LOL You are definitely my favorite!
Let me ask a question...im old school too... but do you get amy kind protein treatments??? Because. I dont remember getting any as a child. When i was using blue magic🤔🤔🤔
Tamika B. Yes, I do protein treatments, but, not, as often as, I used 2. Since my hair is healthy, I don't need them as much. I do them once or twice a year, now. When my hair was severely damaged, I did them once or twice a month.
Hey beautiful which grease do you prefer the Indian hemp or castor oil?. And I just got some cornrows in yesterday and I wanna know how to properly care for them to achieve maximum growth. Any tips ?
Rupee Beenie Well, both are my faves and I reach for which one is the closest. Indian hemp will be my favy fave, if I had to choose. For your cornrows, keeping them moisturized and sealed with oil, will retain length. Taking them out in 6 to 8 weeks, will be a good idea to prevent super matting. Take them down with water and condioner for a good slip. Shampoo with a sulfate and deep condition after you take them out.
There aren't many videos of people using Blue Magic Indian Hemp. I'm currently using it and I combine it with a twist butter...yes, in the summer. I'm also using the Blue Magic leave in conditioner argon oil with mango and lime.
Hey hope All is well . When using grease how do you remoisturize in the week if you already sealed in the moisture with the grease . The moisture is lock in and also moisture can’t get in . We moisturize throughout the week but is it sitting on the hair ?
Hello! The best way, I can answer your question, is to tell you my experience. Yes, the moisturizer is locked inside the braid or twist, but, after a few days or week, the outside hair dries out. So, I'll put moisturizer on the outside of my braids or twists. Does that mean that the moisturizer is blocked out from the inside of the braid or twist? Maybe, or maybe not, but, I'm not worried about the inside of my braid or twist, because, that moisture is already locked in. I'm mainly focusing on the outside of my hair, because, it's dry and needs immediate attention. Our hair, between the parts and down the outside of the twists can become fuzzy and dry, as well. Sometimes, if I want to refreshen the look of my braids or twists, I will take them down, spray them with water, moisturize, add more grease, comb them out and retwist or braid them back up, using the same parts. Depending on how I feel, I'll just add moisturizer on to my dry braids or twists. Ya see, there's no rule, stating, you can't reapply your moisturizer, after you've moisturized and sealed, a week ago, because, products wear off from sleeping in your bonnet or maybe, wearing a hat. If you feel like you want to re-juice or refresh them, do it. You make the rules to your hair regimen.
HOw do you apply it? Do you: A) put the moisterizer/leave on your hair ends first, then rub grease together in your hand, and then rub it on your hair? B) rub the moisterizer and grease together in your hands first, then apply to your hair?
I only use hait grease when i'm about to do braids because of that anti-breakage ability, but i'm afraid to put it on my hair as a everyday moisturiser because it feels so heavy 😫
If you use a grease that is labeled "daily hair dress" they tend to be a bit on the lighter side. I use the olive oil blue magic or the original blue on my scalp and braids lightly every day or every other day

I thought about putting us in the same scene. Not, with the green, cause, I don't know how to do it, but, like, you just suggested. I just never did it. One day, I will. I appreciate your comments, support and suggestions. It mean, alot. Thank you so much:)

rose Mcblackwell No, it's a wig.
The wig you are wearing is so becoming. And you look very glamourous they way you made up youe face.
Regina Cummings Thank you so much. I appreciate your comment 😊
Now, how you gonna wear a wig and not showed that she your real hair!
Because, I have over 200 videos on UA-cam, showing my real hair. I also have 3 videos linked to this video showing my real hair. I don't have to show my real hair in every video, especially, when viewers and my followers know how to navigate through UA-cam.
