    I love hair grease. My scalp was on fire constantly until I started using grease again. It healed .y scalp instantly. No more dandruff and no more itching and no more dryness. My parents had it right the first time.

    My edges grew back in and hair got super healthy from using hair grease 4 days a week and only hair butter 3 days a week. Hair grease is the truth. People keep telling me my hair look amazing, and wonder what I am doing, and I say 4 days a week old school grease. 🤣

    I think your edges are growing in nicely. I never noticed the problem area, until you showed it. But it is thick and filled in now, I dont think you need to cut it. Just let it be👌
    I had little stubborn bald spots in my crown area, and started using Jamaican Black Castor oil with my grease. And it is filling in nicely, barely noticeable now.

    Thank you Nezi! I have been using grease now for two weeks and my scalp has not itched nor is it burning like it used to burn. I am using Royal Crown. It seems to be truly healing the scalp. Front of my hair would usually be filled with dandruff now but so far, so good.. It is Wednesday and I am almost to Saturday (wash day)!! I too, had a stylist snatch the weave out of my hair without wetting it. It was glued and she snatched it out and i had a serious balled spot in the area. It is still thin but a great deal of my own hair has come back. I hide it pretty well with my hair. Thanks Nezi for your encouragement!

    Blessings my sister. I have no regrets since going back to my natural tress. Love my blue magic, sulfur 8, and water. I shampoo and condition every 4-6 weeks, if I'm too lazy maybe longer.🤷🏾‍♀️lol. I hardly mess with my hair. People always ask me, "what type of treatment do you use girl?" Because of hair growth I guess. They can't believe it's just that simple. Yep. I went back to my roots. Lol😂at the new friend, "gray hair."😂. I'm almost 50, and I think I might have about 5 strands of gray. They are hiding within my bush, none in front, back or sides. People who knows me well, family, friends be like, "looks like you ain't never gonna gray." Lol. I'm like, "yes I do have a few strands." Ya gatta joke around sometimes. Real talk, we must stay true to ourselves, and love our people. Yes we have our flaws here and there, but the MOST HIGH blessed us with YOUTHFULNESS. I was looking for your video, so glad it popped up in my feed. Love your videos, and stay beautiful. Blessings to all of the sisters.❤💯

The Shea Butter is hard to find in my area, but I went to a BS that I don't even go too and low & behold they had two in stock, I snatched them both up for $3.29 a jar. I have missing hair too from, tight re-rightenings of Sisterlocks, I had years ago. I think I'll be doing some experimenting to see if I can see some change in the area.
    I like the smell of that Blue Magic grease; I don't own that one, just took a whiff one day while I was in the beauty supply.
    Your hair is so pretty and always looks healthy to me. Start babying the area that is thinner and see what happens. I wouldn't cut it, just keep up the illusion. 👍🏾 Take care, Nezi!! 🙂

      @findmeanewplanet 3 роки тому +1

      Sis! You are the first person to say this! I looked for videos on this when I cut off my sisterlocks in 2019. I had a head full of loc's that I never touched, looked at my scalp in the mirror one day, and had multiple ball spots all over my head that my hair had hidden, I was devastated. My loc girl tried to act like she didn't do, and push it back on me. I never styled or touched my head unless I was washing it. The entire time I had loc's I kept telling her not to take my hair down to the scalp, leave two or three loops avaliable. She didn't listen. I cut them all off and grew the spots back but I have some areas that are thin that I'm still working with. Sisterlocks are wonderful if done right, most don't honor your follicles, and can cause serious damage or hairloss.

    • @evelynparhamreviews
      @evelynparhamreviews 3 роки тому

      @@findmeanewplanet I think people are afraid to say anything. Years ago when I took the SL training, I recall a woman being there whose hair was thinning in the top; she had a lot of scalp showing. I didn't think much of it at the time; I figured she could have some health issues.
      However, over the years I've noticed more women with the issue. A friend of mine had issues, so she ended up cutting her SL off before things got worse.
      Ultimately the person doing the re-tightening should take into consideration the scalp & follicle (health) and how tight they are doing it.
      If it's too tight each time one goes for a re-tightening hair follicles get pulled out and over time it does damage to the area, which results in slow to no growth in the area.
      If one gets locks, I recommend palm rolling or comb coils to start. I started a neighbor's locks 15 years ago with baby coils, she still wears her locks to this day. She has a full head of locks and she's a baby boomer.🙂
      Thanks for the reply; I didn't mean to type a book! I've told close friends my take on this topic, so when I see someone else speaking on it, I feel comfortable sharing. 😊

    • @NeziNappsakaNezi
      @NeziNappsakaNezi  2 роки тому

      Hi! First, I wanna say that hair grease is not a moisturizer. So, the answer is no, to letting it stay moist all day. Hair grease seals in moisture from your favorite moisturizer, humidity and steam; not hair grease.
      Hair grease is very hard to shampoo out. Using a sulfate shampoo will eventually wash it out. I have shampooed it out before, but turned right around and added some fresh moisturizer and grease to my hair. I would do that every once in awhile, just to have a fresh start, but my hair would feel so stripped and dry. Eventually, I would bring my moisture level back up to prevent breakage.
