I still haven't tried the fruity pebbles, but I want to! I really don't think anyone will have a hard time finding a flavor they'll like. There's a ton of options.
Same. I’ve turned many friends at the gym onto it giving them a scoop in a ziploc bag after a workout. Fruity Pebbles for the win. Just add water. I don’t need any other additives.
I started my weight loss and muscle build journey almost a year ago (February 2023) I've noticed a big difference for the past few months in terms of fat loss and muscle gain (I started taking this protein powder about three months ago) I'm not sure if my gains have something to do with this or maybe it's cuz I'm getting in better shape with each passing day and always increasing my reps and weight when training but I will keep purchasing this stuff for sure. I was weighting 250 lbs. when I started and had a 42" waist, now I'm weighting 180 lbs. and can wear 32" waist jeans.
WOW, congrats dude. That's awesome progress. Your results likely have more to do with your consistency over the long-term doing all the right things from a training and nutrition standpoint. But you're right, this protein is GREAT!
Fruity Pebbles is the absolute best flavor. I’ve tried so many different ones and this one is so good, after going through many of the small tubs I went ahead and started ordering the bulk 5lb tub on Amazon. That’s about $1.20 per serving.
Great review. This is one of my favorite protein powders. I use Proto-Whey in the AM and the ISO 100 in the afternoon. Both are fantastic for highest quality protein macro, flavor and digestibility.
@@feast_good It seems to keep me better satiated until mid-morning. The ISO 100 digests faster I think, so I use it in the afternoon. LOL the truth is I really don't know why I use one in the morning and the other later. It's just my routine. 🙂
@@positivelastaction3957 I'm a fan of using different types of protein powders for different times of day. So stick with what works. I've just never heard of proto-whey before. I looked it up but their website kinda sucks in terms of providing more details. Might have to do a review on it!
@@feast_good That would be cool. The proto-whey I use is branded as Power Crunch. They only have two flavors, which is kind of lame but the flavor and mouthfeel are excellent imo. Yeah their website is really basic, but I like the quality and the bars are fantastic too imo.
I purchased the fruity pebbles from Amazon a week ago and found the flavor to be great since it taste you get after drinking the left over milk in your cereal bowl, but a little sweet for my taste, i do prefer less of a sugary taste, additionally I did notice some clumps when I mixed it with milk and creatine, all in all I will give it a thumbs up. My go to is Gold Standard but I have been seeing this all over the place and wanted to give it a try
Thanks for sharing your experience. I know others will find it helpful, too. I do think most protein powders will have some clumps if mixed with milk. Or at the very least, you really have to shake it with a whisk ball.
Great review! Just tried Iso100 for the first time after buying on Amazon Prime Day. Very impressed! I had been using the same protein daily for 5 years until the company closed down.
Great review, and yes, you are right. This protein doesn't keep you full for a long time. It makes me hungry as hell! It's like I didn't eat for days. So do not take this at night cause you will be starving in the morning like craaazy! Other than that, my recup is on point, and muscles hurt less. I feel like I can train for hours with this protein. I can feel the difference in power, I can push more weights with less fatigue. But like I said, the only downside for me is that it doesn't keep me full, after 30min to an hour, max, I'm starving as hell! Overall, I think it's a good and clean protein powder.
Yup, agreed. Definitely a GREAT post workout option. Would definitely look elsewhere for either a standalone meal replacement. However, have you tried mixing it with milk at night? The milk should help keep you full overnight?
@feast_good Yes, I always do mix it with milk 3% to add more protein and some calories but still getting the same effects. Starving within 30min to an hour after taking it or shaking when I wake up because I'm so hungry, it is kinda giving me the same effects as when I was taking weight gainer protein. It's like I'm hungry all the time now. This is basically what I'm looking for: a meal replacement to balance it cause I keep keep cooking like this every 2 hours or so. Lool! Any suggestions?
Thank you for the review. I just ordered some. Usually if the shake is too thin, I’ll smash a banana in it or add oats for added thickness and it’ll hold you over longer. 🙌🏾
LOVE IT! If you have anything specific to share definitely put it here as I know a lot of people find value in hearing from other people's experiences (not just mine).
2:40 - You mention the sucralose and digestive sensitivity. Is there a particular brand or brands that you think are best tasting and don't include sucralose? Also, thanks for the reviews! Personally, I really like the flavor & textures of both Dymatize and PEscience, but they don't seem to get along with my stomach.
For sure, Google "feast good + best protein with stevia" and you'll see a list of 6 options that don't use sucralose. At the top of that list is Transparent Labs, which I've also reviewed on the channel. Check out my "whey protein" playlist for that video.
Ya, that's just an optics thing though. The bottle clearly states that it has 20 servings, which really isn't that much. As I mentioned in the video, the prices vary widely on Dymatize depending on where you buy it, but I've found it as cheap as $1.67/serving. This is slightly above the average for whey protein, which I've calculated to be $1.34/serving, but that average also includes a lot of lower-quality proteins. So in my view, $1.67 for what you get with Dymatize is really good. Whether Dymatize used a smaller or bigger tub and filled it with 20-servings doesn't really matter. It's the price per serving that you should focus on. If you're looking for a cheaper protein powder, I'm putting together a video right now on the "Best Cheap Protein Powders That Are Still High Quality". Stay tuned for that one!
Good question, I actually can't find anything on the label or website that mentions anything about the breakdown. They could definitely be more transparent here. It looks like hydrolyzed is the first ingredient, so I'd assume it has a higher percentage of hydrolyzed than isolate. Regardless, you're getting a VERY fast digesting protein with this option.
I have the whey isolate gourmet vanilla. It does leave my mouth a little dry after drinking. I normally have it post workout although I workout at night. Do you think if that is a problem? Maybe I need to drink more water with this protein.
great review! I saw your review on optimum nutrition gold standard whey protein review which I've been taking for years primarily because of the cost. Now that I saw your review on this, it looks to be more superior. If you had to chose between both, which would be the better protein?
Honestly, it's too close to call. I have both proteins in my cupboard right now, and I've used both this week. I would pick up a bottle of Dymatize and see if you like it if you've never tried it though.
Was wondering about their ingredients and how they are sourced. If their protein powders have heavy metals or if they are using gmo ingredients. Additionally, for Europe I didn't find any information about a certificate for their proteins. If you could help me find answers to these concerns I would appreciate it!
Dymatize Iso 100 is third-party tested for banned substances and evaluated for label accuracy and ingredient purity. In terms of where the ingredients are sourced and specific certificates for Europe, I'm not sure.
Perhaps you should take a step back and re-assess a few things: -Do you know your maintenance calories? Have you calculated that properly? Are you consistently eating above your maintenance calories by 200-500 calories per day? -Are you training hard enough in the gym? Are you following a program that's focused on progressive overload? -Are you getting enough sleep and recovery?
I've never tried whey protein plus. Iso 100 is one of the most popular protein powders I've reviewed on the channel though. You can check out my review here: ua-cam.com/video/tSzrFabZSXU/v-deo.html
I can do even better, I can give you a list of 6. Check out the article: feastgood.com/best-protein-powder-with-stevia/. bro one for muscle blaze protein powder from india probably too pleaseeeee it is popular here i want to see if any of your reviewed protein powders are better❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I think the most important thing with adding a protein supplement to your diet is just simply using it to help hit your daily protein goal, regardless of timing.
Protein has 4 calories per 1 gram. So multiply the number of grams of protein in a serving by 4. For example, if a protein powder has 20 grams of protein per scoop, multiplied by 4 is 80. Then look at the total number of calories in the serving. If the bottle says 100 calories. Then divide the 80 by 100 and that's 80% protein. Makes sense?
I didn't experience any stomach upset with this one. I'm planning on releasing a video in 2 weeks of the best protein powders that don't cause stomach upset (after testing 22 brands). So stay tuned for that one.

You can of course use this for bulking. You can bulk with any protein powder. It's not the protein powder that will make you be successful or not. It's how hard you train and whether you can consistently stay in a caloric surplus over a long period of time.
Of course. Your bulking outcome will be mostly dependant on whether you're in a caloric surplus, first and foremost, and then if you want to optimize muscle gain, hitting your overall daily protein target. Dymatize can help with the 2nd part of that equation, but you don't want to consume more than 1/3 of your daily protein intake from supplements (at most). You still need a variety of protein sources.

I'm not a pro when it comes to intermittent fasting. It sounds like you have some pretty serious goals. I'd speak with a nutrition coach. But for a protein shake that provides more satiety, I'd look at a casein protein, like this one: transparentlabs.sjv.io/xkMEQv. It will have a slower rate of digestion.
I've tried the Dunkin Cappuccino one and found it disgusting 🤢🤮 It also didn't mix well and settled fast. I have been wanting to try the fruity pebbles and the cocoa pebbles but was worried about spending the money again..
Sorry that you experienced that. Taste is very subjective, and it can vary a lot between flavors, even from the same brand. I wish I had a discount for you so you can try another flavor but I don't have any relationships at Dymatize.
I've tried Ryse and will be coming out with a review of it shortly. However, I didn't try the birthday cake flavor, I tried the vanilla peanut butter. I've tried A LOT of birthday cake flavors though, and put together this list of my top 5: feastgood.com/best-birthday-cake-protein-powder/. Dymatize actually came out as my #1 pick.
As mentioned, we did find the price varies widely. But even at the lowest price we could find ($1.67/serving), it was still slightly higher than the average cost of whey protein ($1.34/serving). So yes, it's definitely a premium-priced product. If you're looking for a cheap whey protein, we just published "The Best Cheap Protein Powders That Are Still High Quality". You can check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/XWb5-anA9uc/v-deo.html
Typically if you are getting diarrhea it's because the artificial sweeteners or lactose (in whey concentrates) are the cause. So just avoid whey proteins with those things. You won't have a whey concentrate problem with Dymatize (lactose), but there is sucralose (an artificial sweetener). So if you know sucralose bothers your stomach then best to avoid it. I don't know about pimples. I didn't have any issues.
Oh, I just noticed you commented on my other video and I put the link to this video. Looks like you already found this video. If you're looking for a protein in terms of minimum ingredients, then check out Transparent Labs. But this protein is totally fine, too. It depends how you define "healthy".

How can i find protein % in any protein powder . Because this is not mentioned anywhere on my Dymatize protein powder.
Protein has 4 calories per 1 gram.
So multiply the number of grams of protein in a serving by 4. For example, if a protein powder has 20 grams of protein per scoop, multiplied by 4 is 80.

Could anyone say that how good result Dymatize ISO100 gives ? Can I use this for bulking?
You can of course use this for bulking. You can bulk with any protein powder. It's not the protein powder that will make you be successful or not. It's how hard you train and whether you can consistently stay in a caloric surplus over a long period of time.
Taking whey protein will reduce weight with workout

Sorry that you experienced that. Taste is very subjective, and it can vary a lot between flavors, even from the same brand. I wish I had a discount for you so you can try another flavor but I don't have any relationships at Dymatize.
Have you tried ryse birthday cake flavor yet?
I've tried Ryse and will be coming out with a review of it shortly. However, I didn't try the birthday cake flavor, I tried the vanilla peanut butter. I've tried A LOT of birthday cake flavors though, and put together this list of my top 5: feastgood.com/best-birthday-cake-protein-powder/. Dymatize actually came out as my #1 pick.
Yo preguntándome que habrá dicho en todo el vídeo ?
It's a good product. That's what I said.
I find this powder good but way over priced
As mentioned, we did find the price varies widely. But even at the lowest price we could find ($1.67/serving), it was still slightly higher than the average cost of whey protein ($1.34/serving). So yes, it's definitely a premium-priced product. If you're looking for a cheap whey protein, we just published "The Best Cheap Protein Powders That Are Still High Quality". @@feast_good I think if Dymatize lowered their sales they would smash the market more.
Currently $10 off at Kroger so I had to cop
Good to know.
I like chocolate milk!
Me too
It’s too damn sweet imo
It's definitely a sweeter taste, that was my experience too. Some people will like that, others won't.
Can this product make people have diarrhea & pimples ?
Typically if you are getting diarrhea it's because the artificial sweeteners or lactose (in whey concentrates) are the cause. So just avoid whey proteins with those things. You won't have a whey concentrate problem with Dymatize (lactose), but there is sucralose (an artificial sweetener). So if you know sucralose bothers your stomach then best to avoid it. I don't know about pimples. I didn't have any issues.

Is it a healthy protein to have? I know some have extra stuff that shouldn’t have
Oh, I just noticed you commented on my other video and I put the link to this video. Looks like you already found this video. If you're looking for a protein in terms of minimum ingredients, then check out Transparent Labs. But this protein is totally fine, too. It depends how you define "healthy".
