  • Mindvalley University student, Mabel, lost her dad last year.
And when Paul McKenna invited her on stage to help ease the grief, she never expected it to start healing so quickly...❤️‍🩹
Using simple but highly effective psycho-sensory techniques, Paul was able to support Mabel in her process of 'making the peace bigger than the saddness.'
Just another beautiful moment at Mindvalley University 2022.

Grief is a symptom. This is like using pain killers to solve kidney stone issues. The pain may be gone but the stone is still there. I have had this method done to me and other methods too but sometime later something triggers my grief and I am back to squqre one again.
The best thing you can do is make peace and ponder your underlying problem that is causing you pain and affecting the quality of your life. Easier said than done but I know I can do it and I know you can too

Interesting, I was thinking to myself why therapists and doctor's don't do this

Why do hypnotists always touch you when you close your eyes?😵‍💫

It would not work for people who do not like to be touched, especially those with sexual traumas. Made me feel very uncomfortable watching the male therapist stroking the girl’s arms and in close proximity. Plus, this girl is subjected to lots of pressure to perform and conform to the therapist’s expectations as she was sitting in front of many people. Saw something similar where a person who couldn’t lift her arms was able to lift them up in front of many people when a therapist worked on this person but off the stage, she couldn’t replicate it as it was too painful for her to raise her arms. Then why was she able to lift her arms on the stage??
Her nervousness temporarily suspended her pain as her nervousness was bigger than her many years of pain at that very moment. This kind of trick / therapy will not work for most people, unfortunately.

It's important to keep in mind that she volunteered to be on stage for this, which by itself indicates that she has at least the minimum level of required openness not to freak out and also she's not alone with him.
The title is obviously click-bait. Healed? Probably not, but on the road now, possibly.

Yes, I guessed that she volunteered and it had to be. Without it, if an unfavorable event transpired, mind valley and the therapist would potentially be in a serious legal consequence.
Still the same, in terms of human psychology. An example given earlier in my comment, my friend, was also a volunteer and extremely open minded. There are many social psychological factors involved in the lady’s giving a favorable response particularly in a group situation and it’s premature to assume that this style of therapy is the reason for her giving a favorable response.

Better avoid these kind of methods. When I was watching this video, something struck me is this ki d of therapy a starting point for sexual abuses? Especially when male therapist touching female clients 🙄. Mindvally is exaggerating unnecessary things such as a divorced person preaching about healthy relationships 🙄. Lead by example. That's the best way to influence the world 🌎.
