With those cacti glochids/spiky hairs, I discovered holding the skin flat, and flicking outward at them with you're finger (immediately) gets them off really well 🙂🌵

Hello, I purchases a krohniana in a 4in pot from Planterina. ( not a sp aff) Which I saw ur video on if there was a difference. My question is I noticed a few of the sm.leaves had fallen off & was placed down in the soil when I opened the pkg. There is the little stem ( whatever u call it) at the end. Will this take root ? I have no idea about this plant .Also can it take morn. sun having such sm.leaves & can it sunstress? Thank U
The sp aff Burtoniae? That will sunstress, khroniana does not sun stress. And the leaves won't grow anything new, you need stem and nodes to grow a Hoya cutting
I just did some chopping in Aug as a couple Hoya were looking sickly. I’d love to listen to a talk about funky hoya leaves…you know when you get bumps and spots etc. what is ok and what is very bad etc.
I definitely need to learn more about that myself. When I do I will absolutely pass on the info!

I always love you Hoya videos, I know that when I have a Hoya that has a really long stem the I have cut some on mine and popped them into water and I was amazed at how quickly it rooted up. I have a really old Hoya that my mom gave me a two leaf cutting that got pretty big and really needed a repot, so I took it out of it's old pot and when I did that two of the stems broke off and they are the ones I put into water and in less than two weeks they had really good roots, so I put it in a pot with a bamboo hoop and it has trippled in size and I really love the new plant, it is just a Hoya Carnosa but so pretty and full and really healthy. I really love so many Hoya and am looking forward to more of your Hoya videos, I hope that you have a great rest of your weekend, sending love and many hugs stay safe and have some good rest, bye for now. 😂😉🥰🤗😻💜

For some reason every one of my Hoya cuttings has died and I’ve tried multiple ways (water, leca and spagnum moss) any tips? :(
Are they rotting or drying up? What do you keep them in, open air or a prop box type of situation?

I’m looking forward to the future Hoya videos! I have increased my Hoya collection. I think I’m leaning towards having a small Hoya only cabinet but I haven’t quite figured out how to make it so most Hoyas can hang or trail
Yea, I have to just keep the baby Hoya in my cabinet for the reason. But there's definitely ways you can make that happen!

Love yah too Jackie💕😭💕 I’ve had success propping. I’ve had some failures too, but I’ve learned a lil bit since that time. Recently I cut my two node Polyneura in half. I’m soo glad I did. She has these lil baby leaves. They look so cute. She’s also outside too, that’s also where I put all the plants the need a lil more heat😅 Can’t wait for more to the Hoya Handbook

every time I attempt to propagate my krimson queen the propagation dies.
What are you using? Do they rot or dry up?
@@jaclynns.jungle water propagation jars change out the water ever couple days but they plant dry up and never produce roots.
@@jaclynns.jungle I'm relatively new to hoya, I have 5 but I've had them for a few years and the krimson queen is the only one I've attempted to propagate.
@@CodyAF333voluntaryist maybe try moss? Is the plant touching the water when you do it?
@@jaclynns.jungle I have a node or two in water when I do it. in little vile jars. I'll try moss. I tend to not keep moss moist enough, I have too many other plants to keep after.

Sunrise is just super easy to root in comparison, give it some time!!
Also ! I Got my Krimson princess about a month ago now & one of the tendrils has already put out new leaves, but another tendril hasnt done anything at all. its got a node right on the end and what looks like a leaf that was at one point trying to push out. But its not doing anything at all.
I would definitely cut that one back if you feel like it, it may give you a new growth point and you can plant the prop back in the top!! 🥰
