I cut a Hoya leaf from my mother's plant and put it in soil 11 or 12 years ago. For a year nothing happened, I just had a leaf in soil. I kept watering it since it didn't die (also, I had no idea what I was doing). It is now a big Hoya draped around the window frame. It got full and bushy entirely on it's own, I never cut it or did anything to it aside from repotting every few years and giving it support for the strands to climb on. It flowers regularly and generously. So if you give it enough time it will take care of things on its own, ha, ha. Love my Hoya. I recently cut a leaf off in hopes of propagating another plant.

This was a awesome video, I was always curious if you should take all the moss off the roots before putting the cuttings in soil. I found this video super helpful 🌱🪴😉

I’ve been waiting for this video!
I’m new to Hoya and I’ve been dying to chop up my Krimson Princess and just wanted to make sure I do it right 😁

I tried propigating once but I ended up putting them on a heat mat and fried them and there was far to much humidity so I may try again this spring. Thank you it was very helpful for me.

It’s been a few months of having a prop box and I’m finally seeing growth. My Hoya krimson queen does not want to root in there. Slowly but surely though! Congrats on the new babe! ❤️
