Northern Newfoundland River Fishing
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 лют 2022
- In this repeat broadcast from 2020, we explore some of the incredible rivers in Northern Newfoundland. Host Colin McKeown is the guest of Tuckamore Lodge which is a drive-to destination located close to wonderous sights such as Gros Morne National Park and the famed Viking Village (where Vikings settled 1,000 years ago). Topwater Atlantic Salmon fishing combined with sighting seeing is our mission on this trip during the pandemic of 2020.

Fantastic
we had a great week in NFLD last summer as well we were there with Mountain Top Outfitters just before the restrictions came on
Very nice video. This was the kitchen sink! Also, I've never seen so many salmon jumping around so close-by. So tempting.
Thank you 😋
My family is from Main Brook. I’ve spent a lot of time there and hopefully I’ll move there in the near future. Ain’t no place like it
Nice strike.. 👍
Imagine looking down known that you are going to be fishing over so many salmon as it showed you in that pool at the very start of this video unbelievable it would be And got 2 brand new single handed rods just for the job 10ft 7 weight hardy HBX and 10ft 7weight CND bvgt that have to try this season.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen you with a spinning rod in all my years watching you
does anyone fish a deeply swunng fly or "gasp" fish an unweighted nymph style fly down deep? Make no mistake I appreciate the traditions of angling there, swinging and dead drifting surface flies..... but I also appreciate using the right tool for the job if the fish are a little sulky and you need do plop something down to them a bit deeper?
Junior kind of looks like Andy Reid(head coach of the KC Cheifs)!
Hey im from alberta and was wondering what the fishing regulations are like for non resedents

Labrador next time
For gods sake get a proper dip net to reduce damage to the salmon!!
Isn't this a repost?
Yes it its, we are doing this on some shows for Sunday since the border was not open last summer. trying to help this and other operators who were impacted by the pandemic. thanks for watching
@The New Fly Fisher It definitely didn't stop me from watching it again 👌 I'm from NL. Great show!
Nice spot, I’d like to smoke or BBQ one of those, never eaten a wild Atlantic, only those nasty farmed ones🤣
The dude guides for canadian atlantic salmon and doesnt have a rubber net?
he does now, we gave him ours
Living in Main Brook, options when shopping are very limited. People live and make due with what’s available. These days it’s changed quite a bit with online shopping but prior to that, they just had what they had and made the most of it. That’s the heart of the people here, make the most of what you got. A real resilient and tough group of people, who would give you the shirt off their back
Napping? c'mon
