It would be great to see a video about your experience with Crohn's impacting your social life and love life and relationships if you would feel comfortable. Or maybe one about how it impacts your work life. These are some of my main concerns.
@@aaronninjaelf great ideas man! I'll add these to a list and will see how I can pull it all together...defs created some issues in the beginning but mostly fine now
Thank you for all your videos. Your so down to earth, positive, informative and straightforward. Your a great help to me and many other Crohn's sufferers
Been on Stelara for 2 years for the same reason. I have virtually the same experience as you... no side effects (just some minor fatigue following the injection) I also notice around the 7-week mark that I become slightly more queasy than usual, so I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way, but, it's such a minor discomfort compared to my previous flare-ups that it's practically negligible. Thanks for sharing.
Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience. That’s very interesting you feel queasy, the last week is always touch and go ahah - so yes you’re not alone!!
Thank you so much! My son is currently at the beginning of being possibly diagnosed and his doctor already thinks of putting him on Humira but there are serious side effects like triggering cancer. I haven’t heard of Stelara since now. I’ll mention to the doctor. ❤Thank u so much for helping us going thru this.
Ive gone through multiple meds since diagnosed and now im finally seeming to get healthier i had to quit a lot of drug abuse as well which of course helped but yes this does help crohns p well for me
yo benjaymun recently diagnosed with crohns now on prednisolone 40mg each day and azathioprine Currently 18 and dont want to continue on steroids but currently underweight by 12kgs Do you think stelara might be a be a good fit ill ask the doctor during the next consultation Also due to that ive got perianal fissures too so is it safe to take stelara?
My mom came over from USA to Canada. She is a nurse. They changed the needle. it has a cover over the needle that does not come off. She couldn't figure out how to administer it. We went to the drug store and asked the pharmacist. He couldn't figure it out. How do you get the needle to work/ to administer the Stelara. We read the instructions nothing. The needle end had a hard plastic end on it.Inside the hard plastic cover is a spring. The needle is inside the spring and covered up. NO matter what we tried we could not get the Stelara to come out of the needle. HELP
Hope this video was helpful! Feel free to leave a comment or send a DM on Instagram if you have any questions :)

Really helpful, thank you. My son was diagnosed with Crohns in June this year and we always appreciate the advice you have to offer ❤❤
Ah so glad to hear it’s helpful. All the best with your son too, if he has any questions please let me know :)

Great channel on living with Crohns. Also some very good looking videos? Curious what camera you use? How to you color grade/post-process?
Thanks very much!! Hahah so glad you noticed. I used a Cineprint16 film emulator and I’ve shot this on a BMCC 6K with a diffusion filter :)

Thank you for making this. It's a possibility our 9 year old will swap from Infiliximab to this so I'm trying to learn as much as I can in case.
Ohh that’s great!! I hope so too, it’s far more convenient :)
Love the grade on these
Aah thanks so much Emmett! Got the new bmpcc such a dream to grade

That sounds like the needle had already been used? It retracts into the body and locks once the medication has been dispensed.
Ibd can curedable
Possibly :)
@@benjaymun how is it possible 🤔 😳
Stelera was useless for me. Just gave me an abscess.
Ive got crohns for 13 years now. Hell on earth. No life. Enjoy hell.
I was getting an abscess before the medication so don't think it comes from the medication
Ayo i have had an anal abscess, should i take stelara?
