I cant express how your videos bring me such joy and into a world of adventure that I cant go on my own at this time. Thank you for taking us along on the journey of your beautiful lives.
Our pleasure! But seriously thank you so much for watching and supporting our little adventure!
No better way to start the work week than saving my favorite two adventurist's video to watch at the beginning of the week. Thank you! Really....THANK YOU!!! ❤
No Thank YOU! We appreciate you being along for the rid!
Downtime, relaxation oh my what is happening..... glad to see you both relaxing
Hardly recognized us being rested ;)
Ahh you finally made it to my home state! Minnesota is a beautiful place with a rich history (both good and bad).
*_You are a matching pair of adventurers, that's why I like you, greetings, Rudy Tutorial Outdoor_*
Another great episode. I had to laugh at the tent setup scene. Never thought it could be cool to film setting up a tent, but you did it.
Glad you enjoyed it! HA I love being able to make mundane things fun and jazzy... The power of video editing ;)
God you made me feel like a kid again...I share so many of the same emotions that you two feel, this one had such a different feel to it and I love it! So comforting and daydreamy...such a nostalgic feel. Much love once again, well done...slainte!
I'm glad you loved it so much. I was worried about this episode a little because I very intentional set a different pace for it. After writing the script for it I thought about leaning into that feeling so hard that I almost took out the voiceover entirely. I wanted it to feel like the break we needed, particularly in preparation for the all out sprint of the last two episodes!
We didn't get to float at Voyaguers but we did get to kayak in and out of the caves at Apostle Islands. It was freaking awesome! Thanks for the wonderful series!
With my dads side being from Duluth I was really looking forward to this episode. I’ve been to the Apostles Islands Welcome Center and found it very interesting. We were in Ashland for a family reunion and sadly didn’t have time for a boat tour. Worst of all now I’m craving pizza from Sammy’s Pizza, a Duluth pizza institution for some 60 years! Loved the music choices, the relaxed feel and I was impressed, you guys didn’t tip the canoe! Good job for a couple of first timers!
You will have to return to Minnesota and plan a canoe trip to the BWCA. Rainy Lake can be a busy lake with lots of house boats and fishing boats. Glad you were able to experience the peace and relaxation of it. Minnesota has some great pie bakeries. Where did you stop? The Apostle Islands is a wonderful place to explore on a sail boat or a sea kayak. The Lake Superior Circle Tour is a bucket list trip with great campground opportunities and picturesque locations. There is so much to explore! Thanks for beautifully sharing your adventures with great cinematography.
I thoroughly enjoy your videos, and I’ve been watching since you first started releasing them. This one just seems to be one of my absolute favorite. You guys have really dialed in the production of your videos. I felt as relaxed and refreshed as you all did after watching this. Keep up the excellent work!
music around 7:30 was my fav! I'm watching it snow outside here in Colorado wishing for the warm weather in this video.
Have I told you guys lately that you're really good at what you do? I really enjoy watching your videos and it gives me endless ideas on how I could make our stuff better........not that I will. P.S. I'm watching these out of order for some reason.
Great video, also nice to see you guys learned of the joys of Xtratuf (assuming during the Alaska trip). That looks like a great place to learn to Canoe.
We fell in LOVE with this park when we visited a few years ago! Love the amazing shots you guys got ❤️
Boundary waters next!?!?! y'alls gotta go!
You had me mesmerized when the loon cried out. Then you started paddling and the soothing music started and I was totally chilled...Then I saw those boots! Did you get those in Alaska? If not, would you share the brand with me? Keep up the wonderful work!
I sit here, in a remote piece of Southern Colorado trying to edit my early 3rd season videos, continuously inspired by your channel. Your growth of story-telling, your vision of videography, your adaptation of unique, different ways of showing content. I can't even begin to tell you how much you inspire new adventure channels like me. But, I hope you realize how important you guys are. Please, please, please don't ever stop creating.
what poetry! always delicious to start the week with your video
Great dinner! The Samanco fish ice creams are sooooo good.
What a beautiful video, living in Wisconsin, I love to see these parks. I look forward to the next video because it looked like you were at my favorite Lakeshore. I hope!!! Until the next time. Have a great week ❤
I think it might be! Let us know next week if I'm right!
Caught that Luna Cafe, nice touch.
Thanks for another great video, really appreciate the work they must take.
Look forward to the next one.
Glad you enjoyed it, and obviously we are a sucker for anything named Luna, but that cafe was legitimately delicious!
Another great video!!! Watching your videos are my relaxing point in the week. Thank you for sharing again!
You are so welcome!
Cool spot. Some of my all-time favorite places are spots I spent a couple of nights at during a canoe trip. Islands out in the middle of wilderness lakes for example.
Very cool! It is so fun to be able to paddle to an otherwise inaccessible place to camp!
Big fan of Minnesota!! The state is so very under rated when thinking about all it has to offer. I spent a season working in the BWCA and it still remains one of my favorite places. I fell in love with the remote paddling options, fishing, and scenery up there.
Y'all need to learn the "J-stroke" saves a lot of side switching and you can rudder on your glides.
Every video makes me more excited to sell our monster RV and get a truck camper. So many places, so little time. When you go back, you MUST see the boundary waters in Ely as well as Hwy 1 to the North Shore. All the waterfalls, moose, deer, etc., you’d love it. Happy travels!
Great quality, awesome produced - love it 👌
Loved it you guys! Mac, you are such a hoot hon!
Did that pie taste as good as it looked? 😋
Glad you got a little down time. 🎉
-Troy & Aimee
HAHAHHA YESSS! And you will get one last look of that pie in the next episode!
mind.blown.
MN is way beyond my comfort level,I'll stay in the mtns and dessert if you please. However,as always coming via my phone is fine😊
Missin' out ;)
Absolutely stunning!! So beautiful landscapes , joined with a lovely edition!Your creativity is very inspiring
Love the MN love - next time you have to check out the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness for the full experience!
You have no idea how much we regret not making it to the Boundary waters! We were really hoping for less boat traffic but now we know we just need to go straight to the Boundary Waters!
I’m glad to know I’m not the only bottle licker 😂
One of my favorite vacations growing up was to Park Rapids, MN. We stayed in a cabin on Little Sandtrap Lake. Great memories.
Thank you so much for coming to the Midwest. As a native to the Chicagoland area you have sparked my interest in adventure to these areas.
2 comments: (a) I haven't been canoe camping, but I have hiked to some canoe campsites in the Adirondacks of New York. This video brought back some great memories. (b) The Rivian silverware was a nice Easter egg.
HAHA thank you! We were gifted those at an event where they did a cooking demo on teh pull out cook top on a Rivian! It was so cool!
2:11 ❤❤❤🐈
Man! These spots looked sooo amazing and peaceful. Love iiiit!!! - Coni
Thank you and they very much are!
Thank you ♥
You're welcome 😊
Another amazing episode. Thanks for sharing and great quality. Can’t wait to see the next!
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come!
Growing up in South Dakota I always heard of International Falls because they were always the coldest spot in the winter. I do love Minnesota but I too, crave the mountains.
Its funny you mention International Falls as always being the coldest spot, but literally everywhere we've ever lived has used International Falls for an example of how cold it can be! HA
Love it. A cool place I've never heard of. Added to the (long) list.
Isn't it the best getting to add to the list! Keeps you focused and excited ;)
I wish you guys had come to Ely. I think you would have loved it here. We’re located SE of voyagers National park nestled in the Superior National Forest. Ely is also a gateway to the BWCAW. Dogsledding is a big sport around here in the winter time and of course summer is filled with outdoor recreation, boating, canoeing, fishing, trekking, trail hiking and so much more. We’re also home to some of the most respected small manufacturers of outdoor gear. Stegers Mukluks and Wintergreen Northern Wear. 😊
I have heard great things about Ely too. Sadly we were on a tighter schedule then we would normally be on while we were in this area due to a multi month trip we took to South America last fall to host two group trips. We need so much more time in that area but I do appreciate the insight and advice!
You two are truly the best!!!
And you are truly to kind ;)
I wanna be MAK when I grow up, you guys are so cool and inspiring
Oh gosh you are so sweet! Thank you so much!
@@BoundForNowhere I hope wherever y'all are right now you're having a great time. Can't wait to see it on YT eventually
Thank you! We absolutely are! Waiting for waves in Mexico and this coming fall it will be in series form for you all to enjoy!
Finally made it to my home state. Glad you enjoyed. Northern Minnesota is my happy place.
It is such a lovely area! SO MUCH ROOM FOR ADVENTURES!
Heartbroken that after canoeing in Voyageurs, you didn’t sea kayak in Apostle Islands. You two MUST do a sea kayaking series…..
Fantastic! Really enjoyed the look at some parks that aren't as high profile. Some wonderful ideas!!
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Just like the last series I love this series. The way you guys are able to portray the experiences is awesome. Makes me wish I was out in the truck while I’m sittin here finishing the semester. I’ll get back in the truck soon tho
Another great episode ✌️!
Thank you so much!
Amazing adventure!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Inspiring! Thank you
You are so welcome!
That was so relaxing to watch. So jealous 😊. Love you guys.
Awwww thank you! Glad it was as relaxing for you as it was for us!
Great stuff guys! I've heard often about canoe packing the boundary waters, it's been on my list too long. If you end up in the northeast, suggest adding any little section of the 900 mile Northern Forest Canoe Trail, (NFCT). Can jump on and off from NY to ME. Couldn't help myself, I just love canoes😂 grew up canoe packing the grand lakes in ME.
Sounds great! Wow that would be the trip of a lifetime
Your videos are fantastic! Hoping to live on the road in 2024 so I can see more beautiful places like this :)
Great episode! Check out the Boundary Waters if you ever get back that way. Similar to Voyaguers but much more of a canoe paradise! No motors.
The Boundary Waters were one of the places we tried to make happen for this series. Sad we didn't get there on this trip and you are right about the Motorboats. We really want to experience that place!
And The Quetico which is the Canadian side of the Boundary Waters. Did a couple 10-day, 60-mile paddles there. Epic. Gotta get back.
YEA!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Ey sorry we missed it live with yall! This weekend I was the best man at a wedding and the next day we attended a funeral. Celebrating life either way.
This week's episode was so chill. Nice reprieve from learning so much in previous episodes. Looking forward to next week!
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Life is weird that way isn't it. The ups and the downs always pair together in that way but we hope that you are alright. As for the episode, thank you. Glad the pacing of this one came through as I wanted it to feel like a little recovery in preparation for the all out sprint of the final two episodes ;)
@Bound For Nowhere It was definitely the epitome of an up and down weekend. But it's okay.
Loving this series.
Loved them all actually.
I was quite surprised watching a Redarc ad the other day😉
Well done.
Were we in the ad? But thank you so much for the kind words about the series!
@@BoundForNowhere yes. You are in the Redarc ad in Australia setting up solar panels
Luna coffee shop. So sad we loved your little girl.
We think about her everyday!
Found you via Tight Loops ... watched the four episodes last night. Well done! Will be watching all your new ones and gotta start digging into your prior stuff too!
Welcome aboard! And the Tight Loops crew says hello! They are parked right next to us right now ;)
@@BoundForNowhere Ahhh, that's great!
Ayund we watched all of A Summer Adrift the last couple nights. Yea, we're true Followers! Good stuff!
Another good episode. Great work! It's so unfortunate that all of the video footage you've taken on federal land, such as a national park or national forest, is all illegal without getting a commercial usage permit since the October 2022 ruling. I'm just wondering if you went through the permit process for any of this footage, what your experience was, and will this process effect shooting in the USA for the future?
All of this was taken well before this ruling. And going forward?! Well, we might be out of a job because this type of thing is nearly impossible with the current ruling.
Hello
❤❤❤ you're perfect ❤❤❤
And you are too generous Jenny! Miss you!
Awesome! Just awesome 👏
Thanks a lot!
Owen and MAK, another awesome video. Kudos Any decision for a new Furball? Cheers, Mate.
We are talking about it, however there are a few logistics we are working through before making our final decision. It's a big one for us as having an animal with is changes a lot both good and bad. We obviously regret nothing, but also want to be sure that we are adding to the fam in a way that will be good for everyone, including said furbaby
@@BoundForNowhere Okay MAK fair enough. Cheers Mate.
Ahhhh I wanna camp there so badly. Mak where did you get those nifty sunglasses?!
You are going to laugh! These sunglasses are just shop glasses, real cheap, but they are UV protecting lenses! Here is the link: amzn.to/3FWmVY1
Should have just went to the Boundary Waters thats the real paddle destination.
Yeah we wanted to however our schedule wouldn't allow for it as there was a lot in play for us. But hey, we still had a great time and we will need to circle back for it!
Oh, one other thing... I feel like your color saturation is very low. I checked your videos on my 4K tvs and my 4K monitors. Some of the amazing landscapes that you capture don't seem to "pop" as they do on other videos on the same locations. I'm just wondering if you are desaturating for some reason?
We are going for more of a filmic look. We grade to our own taste and this is the result.
@@BoundForNowhere I appreciate the more natural filming. Thanks!
Hope you can share title/artist of soft jazz song- lyric “show me where the end is” Have searched & not found. Channel continues to be excellent.
Did I see bear boxes at the campsite?
You sure did!
I am a little upset that you packed in a Chianti and didn’t cook Italian food to go with it… A cast iron lasagna and some garlic bread would have been amazing…. Maybe next time.
another great video guys, you both are very cute!!! If you are in Penticton British Columbia drop my wife and I a line
HA thank you so much! And we will give you a shout when we are in your neck of the woods!
loved the video ...the music tho ... :(
Name of the song at 19:46???
As someone who has guided in this area for years, I cannot believe you guys continue to not wear PFDs in dangerously cold water and promote it on your channel. This is super irresponsible.
- Vos sous titrages en anglais n'on aucun intérêt vus que vous parlez en anglais. Pourquoi pas un sous titrage en français ?
- Your subtitles in English are of no interest since you speak in English. Why not French subtitles?
Great episode… it’s very cool to see what you guys eat on your road trips. 👍
More to come! And thank you more of that too 😘
