Thanks for the review on this new monitor ( i believe it's newer than F6 Plus? ). I'm interested to know more about anamorphic feature. So my question is can you zoom in by any percentage while already in de-squeezed mode or you can only zoom in by 2x/4x/8x? Also let's say we can zoom at say 30% for the desired framing. Can we still quickly zoom in between 30% and 4x for checking the focus? Thanks in advance.

Great review. Im looking into getting the f5, but what turned me to f5 pro is the touch screen capabilities. I know that will help me get thru the menu much quicker. Are the features between the f5 and f5 pro the same? What would be the biggest difference between the two other than the touchscreen?
I think the only other big difference is the f970 external power kit.

3:36 The issue with monitors like this is that Feelworld did not produce this monitors so they are limited on what options they can chance or add. There are a few other companies selling this exact monitor with their name and branding on it currently. The Nexili Visio 5 Go is one that comes to mind.

Great review. I got the monitor for my 5d mkii and when I hit record it the aspect ratio on the monitor changes from 1080i to 480p. Any ideas or solutions? I just can't seem to figure out why this is happening. Thank you.
I’m really not sure on that. There’s an issue with your output from the camera.I’d check with other canon users.

T7 battery? This will take all N-PF (Aka L-Series) batteries.

Hi! Thanks for the Video :) I have One question: can you run the monitor only by power bank? Normally it should, but my monitor won’t turn on, whereas if I connect the same usb c cable to a phone charger (5v 2a - same as power bank) the monitor works fine. It works when you select the usb-a (Not c) Port on your power Bank. It‘s a bug in my opinion.
does this one have an auto rotating display?
I have desview r6 though it's not have this feature and mounting it at a reverse angle is not usable

It's not a control monitor, so no.
Are these good for picture taking
primarily for video but if you really want to use to view photos, you can if your camera has HDMI output.

No
Is the color acurate for this monitor?
I think it greatly depends on the camera you're using it with. With the Z Cam E2-S6, there was a slight magenta shift. But that's easily fixed within the monitor settings.

Off the bat, the F5 Pro has the power pack on the back to power accessories off of the monitor.
@@joenicklo Coz Im looking for my first monitor... xt3 screen is too small for me and cant see that much if things are in focus. Having said this, im thorn with basic 7 inch screen or this.. but f6 kinda intrigue me coz its more expensive in my area but cant see much difference.

Btw... on their website.. it says 4K UHD 3840×2160p (30/29.97/25/24/23.98Hz), what if I record 4k 60p ? Does it mean I cant use this monitor? Im really for this dumb question.. Im pretty new to videography and it's accessories.
I believe they just came out with a 7” version too. I’ll be honest...feelworld releases so many new monitors with different features that it gets confusing
It just won’t output the signal at the frame rate you’re recording. Should be fine though

Easy, just need a friction arm or other type of mount. Don’t put it on the camera itself.

How do you import luts?
This version does not have LUT import.
@@joenicklo so weird cause it has an import lut folder but no way to actually do it.
V2 firmware allows you to load custom LUTs. Format a thumb drive to FAT32 or NTFS, copy your .cube LUTs to it and connect it to the monitor using the USB-C adapter. Import the LUTs through the menu and they should be accessible. Only 32 custom LUTs can be imported.
It would be nicer if it had USB-C output instead of 8.4v output, but looks like a nice monitor!

I’ve yet to try a portkeys monitor however I do have one on the way this week.

Poor monitors, not worth it. I got feelworld f5 pro and with less than 2 hours use the screen is flickering.

I bought this monitor for mu canon m50 mark ii. The monitor won't turn on... do I need an extra battery or a transmitter?
How are you powering it? It needs a battery to run, or some sort of power input.
