I mostly film 4k 60fps paintball videos, some quicker movement. Does this monitor lag etc for filming or pretty solid and decent with autofocus? And won't obviously affect the film quality in camera correct? Thanks

Hey anyone used this with the a73 for some reason the record or standby not showing on the monitor and it a bummer to keep checking my camera display to make sure it’s recording so for this is my only con with this monitor
That’s not a monitor issue. That’s an HDMI out issue from the A73.
I’m not too familiar with Sony but on Linux you also have an option to activate a red square around the monitor when you press record. Check if you have that.

Using gamechanger so loosely is corny...this is another piece of gear that is absolutely not needed by 99.9% of people who watch this.
Totally disagree! I have owned about 8 different monitors...anything that's below $200 is usually rubbish, and using your phone is probably better to monitor.
Osee has absolutely destroyed the competition with this, there is NOTHING remotely close!! It's a game changer for sure...PS...this is even better than Osee's very own T5 which is $150

The T5 and T5+ are older than this.
My biggest concern with the T5 and T5+ for me was the lack of contrast when you change your vertical viewing angle.
Hi, Is it built in Fan or Not?
Anyone experienced the Viltrox 550 Pro? Curious how this and the Osee hold up against each other.
I actually haven't used the Viltrox 550 Pro.
One thing I do enjoy about Osee's products is the amazing colour rendition. I suppose I could compare it to an iMac screen, you know that on Mac you always get this beautiful display, however if you buy an Asus or Dell, the screens differ considerably, I find that Osee is very consistent and it looks great!
Side note, I have an Osee T5 monitor, and I definitely find the display on the Lilmon 5 much nicer.
Which is the best monitor if price is not a problem?, I use Sony ZV-E1 and Sony A7iii.

I'm new to Camera and Monitors and I am trying to wrap my head around the the DC input/output. Can this be powered via powerbank?
Also, battery out allows me to power my camera via dummy battery? I apologize, im trying to figure out what i need other than the monitor to get this running.

I saw a review about the t5 that says the image become flat and washed out when shifting the angel of the monitor.
Is this problem also exist on the Lilmon?

I completleyed understand about the slightly washed flat image on the T5, also does it on the T5+
However on the Lilmon it is FAR less!!! I find the T5+ angle to be quite problematic if you doing a lot of broll and movement shots.
I've probably spent about 60 hours filming with the Lilmon5 in the last month or so and although it's not as "perfect" as the T7, the contrast reduction when angled isnt even bothering or conferencing unlike the T5 and T5+.

Definitely not, start small, do it all yourself, once your UA-cam income is enough to hire an editor, then you can.
However once you hire an editor, the style of your video is no longer yours, it's your editors style. So keep that in mind.

I just purchased desview r6 and thinking about returning for the osee lilmon 5. what do you think is the better option?
I actually have a Desview R6.
Whilst the desview does have 2800 nits of brightness and the Lilmon 5 is only 1000, the colour accuracy is far better on the lilmon 5.
If super brightness for daylight filming is something you want, the Osee T7 is insane at 3000 nits and is 7inch with amazing colour.
I think to answer your question, even though my lilmon 5 is not as bright as the R6, I still use my Lilmon 5 😉
My Osee T7 is on my handheld rig and my Lilmon 5 is on my gimbal rig.
Can this thing record? I’d love something like this that could backup picture but as far as I can tell that’s isn’t a thing.
No it cannot record to the SD card...recorders like the atomos ninjas are $500+

Yes, however this is determined by your cameras HDMI output settings and not the monitor.
when purchasing, does this come with a battery and charger?
No it doesn't come with a battery. You can purchase an NPF battery seperately. NPF batteries are probably the most commonly used video/creator batteries.
You can also pick up an NPF charger for cheap to charge your NPF batteries.
Will this monitor 4K 60 footage from FX3?
The monitor can take a 4K 30p footage and display it. So if your HDMI is set to 4K 60 out, it shouldn't work.
However you can record 4K 60 on your FX3 internally and then just set your HDMI out to 4K 30 for display purposes or it will accept an HD 1080 60p footage.
