    A better way to do this might be to have everyone blindfolded and raise their hand for “yes” just so there’s no peer pressure dynamic.

      *1 CORINTHIANS 11:4*
      Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head-it is the same as having her head shaved. For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head. A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. It is for this reason that a woman ought to have authority over her own head, because of the angels. Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God. Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?

      @awes0me811 4 роки тому

      r You faith is about YOU, not others. Whatever you think is gonna happen to you if you follow it, is gonna happen to you. But what you believe in doesn’t apply to others, since that’s an belief. If this person supports Lgbtq+ since going against it is morally wrong, that’s their business and a preference in beliefs that I appreciate. You don’t have to follow everything in an religion. The Bible supports slavery but do you see any Christians supporting it? No!
      People choose what they believe in because it applies to them...not others. Thank you for choosing to force homophobia down respectful Muslims throats.

      CE Ker i never said it was “cool” to be an atheist? religion (in my opinion) comes from humans not understanding what happens after death and the fright in that non understanding made them want to have something to look forward to. humans can not comprehend pure nothingness and there, religion is born. they need something greater than themself to believe in, i’m not gonna force you to believe the same as me, so i suggest you do the same, and don’t pray for me. i don’t want or need it. just because someone doesn’t have the same set of beliefs as you doesn’t mean they’re lesser or not as smart or need to be changed. move on with your day, and i’ll move on with mine!

    • @ceker2363
      @ceker2363 4 роки тому +1

      bee Except for the fact that this is a subjective truth. Religion used to exist solely to explain nature and environments. Look at the Greeks and the Romans etc. However, religion still exists today as people have grasped how science works. I think everyone should be on the same page at least on whether religion is right or wrong because a good 3 billion people either way would be wasting their lives.

      Well, as a justification for why cover was applied in these two religions? Its not because of someone idea about this and that.. look why God ask nun to cover? Any reason...? Please understand from both religion views without bias. I respect both christian n muslim. I dont understand how wearing hijab is submissive to men, actually they are controlling men from being uncontrollable. submission to men is like you are doing what men like n u please to do it, not for self but to please them. Wearing hijab, will not pleasing for those men in lust i think. U think?

      Eric Mago Im an agnostic but a lot of theists believe in a god who is completely just but at the same time merciful. They believe that God will righteously judge the world. One of the things people may say is that God punishing nonbelievers is immoral but their God is a god of truth who cannot tolerate any wrongdoing, not because he hates people but he hates sin, and to not judge people and ignore the fact that they did wrong is in itself immoral. But if people genuinely have a change of heart he would show mercy. The thing is God also cares about truth, and denying God as the one true lord of everything is in their eyes a sin (and it makes sense) because those people dwell in falsehood, whether they realize it or not.

      I'll take this chance two years later to update my position. I remain a Christian: Due to the yes/no format for answers I'll put any commentary in brackets in order to elaborate on my full position
      1. No (Unless the Government or prominent cultural institutions forces you to)
      2. Yes (If someone is trying to strip me of my right to hold those beliefs or is mistreating me because of those beliefs and killing is my only resort to stop that)
      3. Yes
      4. Undecided leaning yes (Define immoral; as a Christian, I believe it is immoral to reject God/Jesus and all humans have committed immoral activity. That said non-religious people can and often do, do a great amount of good in the world.)
      5. Yes (I believe abortion for any reason at any point in pregnancy should be permitted but I believe the majority of reasons for getting an abortion aren't morally justified. The reason for this apparent contradiction is that I believe the instances where abortion is morally justified in effect require the full legalization of on-demand abortion).
      This was nice. Maybe I'll see you in another 2 years lol.
