As a Christian myself, my views on my faith did not align with the majority of the Christians in this video. However, that being said I don't hate any of them or wish them ill will. I simply agree to disagree respectfully. I think in this day in age no matter what your religion, beliefs, or opinions are, we as people need to start getting comfortable with disagreeing and moving on without tearing into someone and attacking them. Finding common ground with someone even as simple as liking the same food or attending the same venue is a beautiful thing. The world would be a much greater place.
I agree that its not okay to attack someone for something as simple as an opposing belief, but i think that educating people who hold these beliefs should be highly encouraged in addition to tolerance. Its like seeing someone go through a bad path in their life and just sit back and say “oh well, its not my life to worry about”. Its unhealthy, and as a Christian especially you should be prone to helping people like these get educated and learn about at the very least the essentials of the Christian faith. People often get so filled with their heresies to the point where religion just becomes a form of self gratification. The pastor is a really good example of how education over self interpretation is needed.
Depends on what the disagreement is. We cannot simply agree to disagree when it comes to certain topics. Some people are just straight up hateful and ignorant.

The pastor reminded me of a priest I knew when I was in catechism. He was a very good, nice and chill man and very non-judgemental. When I started questioning my faith (which honestly I never had) and God itself, I decided to talk with him, after the function, and he listened to me and tried to explain to me all the things I didn't understand. Then he "It doesn't matter who you believe in or not: God loves you anyways, just like I do and your family does and your friends do. What matters is that you treat others with kindness and never do to others what you don't want to be done to yourself". I translated this from my language (italian) and also from my memories, but I believe they still carry a wonderful message. Well if it makes you feel any better, that's not entirely incorrect. Energy transforms, its never erased. So by all technicality, no one is truly gone, they are merely in a different state of energy which is all around us in the very present.
@@TryingtoTellYou see that’s the thing.. Due to a certain experience I had, it’s hard not to believe in energy as you say, and something else going on. It was just too real to ignore. So there must be something happening. Even though I may not believe we all die and go to some other world. That’s just not logical for me. Because that would have to mean that every single human, animal, and every other being that ever existed would be there as well. Because of science, I don’t find human beings to be any different than other beings, not in any way other than we have evolved differently. Anyway. These people aren't Christian. If they can't even answer that believers can enter heaven and non believers can't, then do they really even understand the Gospel? Do they even truly unelderstand what Jesus did on the cross?
And the sexual jokes and things that these "christians" are proudly proclaiming that they do? This is a video of 3 atheists and 3 people who have 0 understanding of the Christian faith. There are 0 Christians in this video.
@Electroencefalografista That verse is taken out of context. The passage was meant to equip believers in sharing the Gospel. It is saying to repent and see your own sin before you go out and give righteous judgement. Like if you are struggling with sexual immorality, don't go out and tell others to stop and be arrogant if you haven't addressed it already and gone to God for repentance and faith. These people deny historic and confessional Christian doctrine. So it is entirely right for us to correct them if we ourselves have repented and believe in him and his truths. They arent just misinterpreting the text, they arent reading it right. They aren't Christian.
@Electroencefalografista "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?" Matthew 7:15-16
So true. Christians by definition follow Jesus and believe the Bible to be the inspired word of god. These people do not believe in the Bible. That’s the thing about these Cut and Jubilee videos is that I’m pretty sure they’re from LA or something, and the people they pull from are majority leftist and big city people. The people on these shows don’t reflect all of American society.
Of course you are going to like him, he's a gay Methodist and he's ultra secular like you. His denomination is not even considered real they are basically considered the drunks of Christianity and nobody in our faith takes them serious because they cant stop contradicting themselves.
I disagree. What is taught by him is false teachings. He may be a pretty chill person but the devil disguises himself as everything you would ever want. His way of thinking is against the Bible in many ways. Talking about his body count, showing no sign of repentance for his previous actions. Talking about pornography in a present sense. These are not things a pastor should do. And before you say “we’re all human, we sin” which is yes true, but also wrong. Yes we are human and we all commit sin. But we should as humans REPENT because Jesus died so our sins could be forgiven. One single sin can send you to hell if you truly do not have the heart to repent for it. Porn is bad, 100% I struggled with it for a long time before Jesus came into my life and saved me from it. You cannot just say “God forgive of all my sins” and boom you’re forgiven. That isn’t how it works you have to do a whole 180 and turn from your sins, walking away from them completely. Never turning back. We struggle, we fall, we all sin, but preaching about how sin is ok is not ok because it is not ok. A lot of people also forget that God destroyed an entire town because of homosexuality yet this pastor is promoting it? That goes against the Bible and God’s teachings. No hate to this pastor, I truly hope he can one day find the real Jesus of the Bible.

Amen 🙌🏻

Brother, “Judge not lest you be judged.”
