- With Splatoon 3 being announced about a month ago, speculation about what happened in Splatoon 3 is still apparent with the Splatoon 3 trailer that was shown. It’s virtually confirmed that chaos has had some kind of effect on what the game would look like because of the very blatant insinuation shown in Nintendo’s tweets, even calling Splatsville, the hub of Splatoon 3 the “city of chaos”. A couple things like the splatoon 2 salmonids being not only brought back but becoming your allies, in addition to the general overworld made me raise a few questions as to how chaos is prevalent in splatoon 3. What do you think will happen related to chaos in splatoon 3. the inklings and octolings probably live in the splatlands because of the lack of water, rather than a lack of laws (but that might still be a bonus for some)

As someone who has been to Greece during the summer, it's not that bad. Yeah, in the summer, European areas can get VERY HOT and dry, but it's bearable....as long as you have somewhere to swim...

Splatoon 2 came out 2 years after 1 and Splatoon 3 will come out 4 years after 2, meaning on average the games succeed one another after 3 years. So Splatoon 16 will be out some time around 2060 x)

So inklings got themselves into the arms dealing business
My theory about Splatoon 3 is that after the splatfest happened, some of the inklings and octolings took the splatfest too seriously and started to create chaos all over inkopolis. After they all became known as outlaws, they all had to move to the splatlands and start building a new city with things they stole and things they could find on the way to the splatlands. Not liking the fact that most of the special weapons had to be changed, they decided to remake some of the specials with their own little twist.
So, what is little buddy doing with an inkling/ octoling? During the chaos being made in inkopolis, you, the player, notice a harmed small fry, laying on the floor in pain, so being the angel you are, decide to take the small fry to try to heal it. After you do, you take it back to the waters of the salmon run maps, and say goodbye to it as you walk away. But the small fry follows you, so you try putting it back, and then it starts to follow you again. Having no choice, you decide to take the small fry with you on your journey to the splatlands.
That’s just my theory tho.

What I find interesting is that the setting of Splatoon 3 looks like a desert land.

Splatsville being called "The city of chaos" might be because of the lack of rules/law there. Since this place was built in a desert seemingly in the middle of nowhere, I can only imagine that a few inklings/octolings might be able to get into some...trouble without any or many consequences.
We also may be seeing more specials returning like the inkzooka we saw in the trailer. Having some previously "banned" weapons from Splatoon 1 into Splatoon 2 return would definitely make for some chaotic matches.
For now, the full effect of chaos remains mostly in theory.

My theory is that it takes place in Las Vegas since it has an Eiffel Tower replica and it has the climate shown in the trailer.
Here's my theory on Splatoon 3: The city of Chaos was built after the final fest for Inklings and Octolings that were looking to break the rules of turf war. By bringing back old specials and modified weapons, this will interest Inklings and Octolings to come to Splatsville.
For little buddy, he could be a small fry searching for help to free his Salmon buddies from Grizzco.
But what do I know, it's just a theory.

I really hope that the story mode has something to do with inkopolis, like maybe inkopolis is Marina’s new city of order and we have to locate Marina with Pearl acting like Marie, maybe a different villain has grown an army in inkopolis’s relatively empty streets, maybe it’s collapsed after an invasion from the octarians or salmonids

You know how you launch your self to the stage? Well I have a theory that that after that, you'll spawn on ground as usual but if the enemy team has the most turf covered and even got to your side, you now spawn in the air and use your self as a cannon to splat them!

In the screen showing off all the inklings and octolings one by one, the colors in the background are yellow, blue, and cyan.
Possibly meaning that the sanitarians may return as some sort of group carrying on tartar’s mission to bring back humans.

Ever thought about the story line splatoon saying that weapons and special weapons have been banned in inkopolis over time because either too powerful or inklings be bad to destroy stuff in the city. Same thing with modifying weapons and gear. So if they are in the middle of a desert where no one is around and just old abandoned construction. They can freely use or destroy as much as they want, also did say that tech had rapdily advanced as it seems because now they have their own personal hovering spawn points and new specials.

I love how the final splatfests influence the next game in the series. For instance, team Marie won the final splatfest in game 1, and next game Callie, the one who lost, is missing. Final splatfest for number 2 was Chaos vs Order, with Chaos winning, and what do we see in Splatoon 3? A very chaotic environment, and the idol team having a theme song called Anarchy Rainbow. Makes me wonder what the final Splatfest theme might be for 3 and how it might influence a future game?

I’m not sure if you noticed or not, (Didn’t watch the video yet, I’m dumb) the train from the trailer is the one from the Deepsea Metro! Meaning that Agent 8, the one who saved the world from Commander Tatar, was also probably dropped off in a desert. I am taking into consideration, that, since there is a waiting station, railroad, and the whole thing, 8 probably had to travel through the desert, missed Splatsville, (I don’t know how to spell it~) and traveled across the ocean! Yes, in the final boss of Octo Expansion, you can see where this takes place, across the ocean from the city, Inkopolis. Don’t forget about 3! She probably used her cape as protection from the blazing days at the desert, and the blood-freezing nights. Her and 8 had to travel all that way just to get to the ocean, and then they had to travel across the ocean, too! As it is called “The Deepsea Metro” it is probably under the ocean separating and connecting itself to the desert, and Inkopolis. If you want to hear this in a video, I’ll try to add it on my channel (I’m not trying to pull them away from you, Alpha, I promise! I only am asking if they want to see it in video form!)
well the trains have a completely different design, like it's kinda obvious so i doubt the fact it could be from deepsea metro, it maybe the trains from the inkopolis plaza or square (one of them) is used, but maybe, just maybe it could be possible that the trains are from deepsea metro

The upside down Eiffel Tower reminds me of the inverted pyramid from mario odyssey. Both structures are located in a desert so it's clearly a reference to that
I think the eifel tower has to have been flipped recently, I mean look at it it. Its rusty and upside down, the thin part would break under the weight of the base without any support.

Edit: the new weapon didnt reach to the underground of octo expansion. So seens captin codlofish and agent 3 were searching around the underground for a long time (i think) so he didn't meet agent 7 someone else meet him or her

My headcanon for my Splatoon 3 character Luna is that she was a Inkling who despite participating in the various Splatfests leading up to the one that would be called Final Fest: Splatpocalypse on Marina's side she would be of the one of the neutral individuals who didn't participate in the final Splatfest due to the fact she didn't buy into the recruitment messages that were being stated by both Pearl, and Marina as while she did see Marina as a friend she was afraid that no matter which side won the innocent ones on the opposing side, and the neutral ones who were innocent would be the ones who suffer in the post-Splatpocalypse world, and when the Forces of Chaos's victory resulted in a lawless world where more often then not the wicked including corrupt officials living in Splatsville, and the various roving gangs of bandits/raiders roaming the post-Splatpocalyptic Splatlands rule over the innocent like tyrants has forced Luna to become a a wandering vigilante whose goal is to do whatever it takes to protect herself, Little Buddy, whatever allies she still has including possibly Marina, and the innocent from various threats including possibly Mr. Grizz and his army of Grizz-Co bots + Inkling/Octoling mercenaries, and possibly DJ. Octavio if he escaped and hasn't turned over a new leaf, and Commander Tartar by any means necessary even if means using what could be argued as "villainous tactics", along with relying on her weapons including her Splatbow.

They've done it with super jumping on the Switch so they could probably figure out how to implement the inkstrike.

1 : where will sheldon and the rest of the shop keepers be?
i feel like most of them , if not all , will not be in splatoon 3 because its mostly a city of chaos and they probably want to abide by the rules. especially sheldon. i do have a feeling that crusty sean is gonna stay or bisk is gonna stay though. they seem to have a slightly chaotic personality.
2 : where will off the hook and squid sisters be?
i know this was already said in the video, but i want to add more onto it. i feel the squid sisters wont be in splatoon two, or if they will they'll probably just be side characters, but off the hook ... pearl is the one who kinda caused all the inklings and octolings to move to splatsland... so i definitely feel shes gonna stay in the game. my theory about marina is that i guess her and pearl had a tough relationship because.. y'know... how many splatfests shes lost.. and i feel shes gonna be a main part of one of the story modes. maybe it'll be like splatoon 2, where --spoilers if you dont have the game-- callie got kidnapped by octavio. but why would octavio wanna kidnap marina? she is the one who worked for octavio, and invented the flooder... i dont know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
3 : splatfests , i have so much to say on this topic.
i feel splatfests will be in a different area than the plaza, because in the trailer where the splatoon 3 logo pops up, it looks as we dont have such a stage or ledge for our idols to stand on. or, maybe it'll be like splatoon 1 where they have little trucks or their own stages to stand on. i dont know. also, what will the first splatfest be? we had cats vs dogs, cake vs ice cream, rock vs pop, all that.... will it be like one of those or will it be more chaotic? speaking of splatfest themes, lets talk about music.
4 : will the music still be poppy?
or will it be like the "#$%@ Dudes be #$%@ Sleepin'" demo in octo expansion? i feel the music will be a mix, like the octo remix of splattack.

9 rings of hell. 7 rings with smoke. There might be only 7 rings of hell in the Splatoon Universe.
And the smoke..? Might just be DJ octavo who just might be the “god of hell/chaos” in Splatoon that had escaped hell and caused all of this.
The more i got into it, the more i started to find this possible. Octlings are possibly a form of some sort of “devil”, while Inklings are some what the “angel” of this universe. You stated in “Is there a CHAOTIC fate for Splatoon 3?” Video, “these scrolls seem to be some sort of bible for inklings and octlings.” And i agree, it truly is a bit of a creepy but cool concept i have come up with…
I believe that grizco industries is highly illegal back in inkopolis, though still pursued by many for quick money making and fun. The reason for it’s illegality is because it’s classified as poaching. Off the hook get away with talking about doing it by claiming that it’s said jokingly. In splatoon 2 we see that grizco industries is just a room, so it’s probably disguised as someone’s house. Grizco industries is probably the biggest and most well known salmonoid poaching business. Many people including the grizco bear moved to the city of chaos in hope of legal salmonoid hunting, which was granted. That’s why grizco now has a shooting range

I theory have about that crab special is that it’s the replacement for the kraken when it’s in ball form (when it suddenly popped out of the ball in the trailer) it’s super fast. When you get out of the ball it’s super slow but when it shoots it’s really powerful. Either that or your can just throw it and it will be a turret that will have some health and shoot people.

My favourite idea is 3 way/4 way battles. Like orange v blue v green v pink in a turf war or other game. I also like having to colonize and quite literally claim your turf for a story mode and you must travel to rogue colonies and claim 70 % to make it yours

Something that confused me is that in Salmon Run the salmon come from the water surrounding the stage, but in Splatsville, there's supposedly little to no water for the salmon to live in. There would have to be a way for the salmons to live out of water for an extended amount of time otherwise (which could possibly be shown in Splatoon 3).
