another powerfull setting in the crafter is the redstone control, unlock crafting, lock crafting and pulse inserts next set. Tha last one can be used to automate machines that cannot have mutiple sets crafting at once,ie the energizing orb in powa, this must have the exact item count or it stops, and it emits a redstone signal when it is crafting.

I've been sleeping off and on to your Playlist and this Is my first time commenting after seeing talk about the mod that was originally known as Applied entergistics or AE which had a couple versions. I absolutely love lava power for so many reasons 😎 these mods have always been my altime top favorite along with IndustrialCraft across various modpacks I have played.

I started playing mechanical mastery and due to not being able to get stuff i chose Refined storage and im having really big trouble with automating stuff like powah and this video helped a bit! thank you!
For me the best use of the disk manipulator is emptying out the first 1K drive I made just to get my system running before I started mass producing 64K drives. Then I can re-purpose the 1K component to make some bigger drives now that the 1K is empty.
I always make sure they have on of the extra storage add on mods for this... That make the storage go crazy large and also the craftera have tiers for more slots. Can't remember what they are but definitely worth it.

Refined storage is much more powerfull when combined with other storage mod, like sophisticated storage (drawers) or black hole from Industrial Foregoing.
How about going over how to use create sequence assembly with auto crafting lol took me a minute to figure that one out.

I wish the priority system worked in reverse between inserting and extracting. So a high priority storage should be the 1st place to store something, but the last place to pull it from. That way, as stuff flows in and out of the network, it would tend to shift from the low priority spots to the high priority.
Use Ae2 then, that exactly how it works in ae2
Hey chosen love the vids and detail you go into! I’m playing Mystical Block right now and I can’t pull items out of my wireless crafting grid in other dimensions with the dimension card equipped. Do you know how I could solve this? 😅

this made me think is it possible to connect Refined Storage or applied energistice with tom's simple storage
I mean technically you could 😂 I have 100% incorporated RS with a AE2
The reason to use RS over AE2 is its simplicity.
The reason to use AE2 over RS is the better auto crafting due to the interface. Interfaces are OP, being a crafter importer and exporter in one. They also allow subnets, subnets give great auto crafting opions for complex muilti input machine automation as used in Draconic Evolution or Actually Additions. Same goes for magic mods.
I would not say better at auto crafting. It’s more versatile because of those reasons. Those features are not needed w/ most mods. You just need a means to put items into a machine and a means to put them back into your system. Most mods are nothing like Gregtech multiblocks.
@@Bob_Smith19true, you dont really need Ae2 until you play gregtech. almost every modpack can be done easily on RS, except for a few rare packs.
What do you think about the mod itself bugging out if you put too many items in it? For some reason, sometimes the items do not appear in the grid :(

So you say it needs a power mod, would create function as a power mod? Or what power mods would you recommend.
When he says power mods he means anything that adds a generator that produces FE or RF. Create doesn't produce power it produces rotational force which is different. That said there are add ons to create that can produce blocks that convert rotational power into "electricity" which would be RF or FE. There are many mods out there that produce power from simple generators to nuclear reactors and any one of them should work, but if you want a good mod to go with Refined Storage, Mekanism is a good place to start. It has quite the collection of contents from factory machines to more than triple ore processing to generators that vary from the simple to the nuclear. It also comes with item, fluid, gas, and power (FE or RF) cables/pipes that allow you to easily transfer whatever you need. The machines can all be automated like the furnace was here and the addition of cables and generators makes a pretty good collection of tools. It is a bit much to get started with but it provides anything you could ever need (including furnaces that run on power not coal).
Help, In refined storage I cant craft with reusable / infinite items... It tries to recraft it for every item... which is stupid... Any ideas?

How do u autocraft filled buckets with fluids?
unless I'm mistaken it's not possible with just refined storage, unless there's something in vanilla MC i'm forgetting about, but if you use other mods it should be pretty easy.

I have the best idea for a new series, and it will be the most difficult series. You must build your house and all your belongings on the create train, the warehouse, the tools, and the machine. You must find a way to make a train build a track and break everything in front of it.
cool idea, but there's really no reason to move the train around unless there's an arbitrary requirement to stay within a certain distance of the train. Also create trains require some mid-late create items to even start, so the first few episodes would just be speedrunning create to build a train.
@@tobywessling1282 There will be some rules, such as when he is inside a train, a train must move, and if he wants to explore areas, he must get on a train, and he can start and give himself the initial equipment for the train.
