This, by far, was one of the best videos on being a signing agent I’ve seen thus far. Very detailed and gave me more confidence!! Thanks tremendously 💙

I'm in the process of becoming a notary*, and I'm learning the field before hand, from different sources. But Anne Fields' workshop is REALLY helping me at being more confident and less stressed out about all this already. Thank you, Mrs. Fields!
Although I have been a Notary for almost 20 years, the Signing Agent aspect is all very new to me. Thank you for such an informative and straight forward video!
This was Extremely helpful. thank you for posting this video. I have watched so many videos researching trying to l everything I can .I am brand new and this was straight and to the point and amazing information that I will never forget.
Thank you, that was an excellent presentation. I’m a notary in MD and just passed my Title Insurance License Exam. Trying to get everything needed to begin. I just ordered the NNA Bible! Such great info!
Thanks for this informative presentation, Ann. You really presented step-by-step what to expect in the Notary Signing, especially useful for beginners. Teacher qualities.
Your video was so excellent! I learned so much more from you than others! I'm glad I saw it and I'm planning to incorporate everything you explained . I will probably watch your video again to make sure I retained everything. Thank you, Cheryl Richman
This is a great video! I really love this Channel! Such a wealth of information for Newbies yet simple enough for most to comprehend and retain. Keep up the great work NNA, you are greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much! I learned alot from your video. Im in Maryland ans working on my prelicensing couse. I am inspired by your tips and insight. Thank you again.
Great reinforcement. I am sharing this video to my notary training workshop page as reinforcement to my past and future students. Thank you very much for sharing your experience!
Thanks so much for doing this, I have taken plenty of notes! And I agree, a mentor is a must! Being a newbie I really need to find one here in WA state. Keep on rocking Anne! :)
This was very helpful, informative, packed full of information. Thank you. I've used a mobile notary several times and am now at a stage where I'm ready to do what I've wanted to do 10 years ago. Great job! I'd really like to learn more from you!
WOW....the tremendous amount of valuable and insightful information you share is incredibly wonderful...especially considering you're providing this with the intent to help others, be it new or veteran notaries in this industry. Even if someone took just 1 piece of info that could prove beneficial I REALLY have a difficult time comprehending why anyone would give this video a thumbs down...simply boggles my mind considering you're devoting your time, effort, and info to help others.....thanks sincerely for all the wonderful info and there's lots of info here I can apply to my notary business....God Bless, Timothy.
Loved this presentation! I had so many questions on how to be a successful signing agent and Anne answered every one! Thank you, Anne! I am new to the business and looking for a mentor as well. I am in CA. You mentioned you used to work in CA. I am willing to work hard and would love any advice you have to share.
Most of the jobs on signing order seem to pay the same, 38 page closing or Reverse Mortgage 277 pages, both pay 75 to 90 dollars. Seems odd to me. Also, why do they wait to the last moment to get a Notary signing agent?
Your tips are golden. Thanks so much for sharing! And I second your choice of the Fujitsu scanner. I have the S1500M for Mac and it's still going strong since 2012.
You share it a lot of great information and were very transparent. I thank you for that. There are a lot of people selling these courses that are not very beneficial. I am just starting my journey as a loan signing agent but I will love your mentorship in the future. Is there any way that I can reach out to you?

The final piece is the TPL and I'm having issues locating the access to training and testing. I'd appreciate any info you might have on this subject. Thank you so much for this amazing helpful information.
Notary Signing Agents in Indiana must take an approved 10-hour pre-licensing course through the Indiana Land Title Association and apply to become a title insurance producer in order to conduct home loan signings. In addition to these licensing requirements, licensees must complete 14 hours of continuing education requirement during the 4-year license term. www.indianalandtitle.org

I’m just starting out so not quite sure on what I should focus on. I’m starting out on a budget and really just want to dive in, I got 1 signing under my belt but clearly need to get more so I can feel more comfortable and confident at these signings any tips or maybe one day could I get you on the phone or maybe msg to see what an experienced signing agent like yourself would do
Hello Michael. You can find tons of resources on our Notary Signing Agent page: www.nationalnotary.org/knowledge-center/signing-agent-resources. If you'd like to reach out to Anne, her email is anneefields@yahoo.com
Great Information, Thank you! I saw that she listed NJ as a state that requires an additional license to become a loan signing agent the "Third Party Liability" i did not see this on the NNA site. Is this true? Does NJ require it? What is it needed for?

Hi JaNet, It is your Title Producer's License. Only 4 states require it. I mentioned this in my video. I'd "google" "3rd Party Liability requirements, New Jersey" and see what you come up with. You can call the NNA and they might be able to help you with this too.
I enjoyed your presentation, giving an overview of becoming a successful notary signing agent. However, you did not mention the elephant in the room, namely COVID-19. What procedures are you using to adapt to the pandemic and still maintain a thriving business? Do you still go to borrowers' homes or is your business mainly conducted at escrow offices? Thank you.
I have not stopped doing closings since the pandemic started. In the beginning I'd always wear a mask and gloves and I would make a packet of gloves and new pens to give to every borrower I closed for right when I went into their house. I didn't have masks for them. I'd carry an extra jacket in my car if they chose to close outside in their garage with the door open. I did MANY garage closings! Before I got in my car I'd dispose of the gloves in a zip tight baggie and id sanitize my hands before I took my mask off. I'd leave the docs in the back of my car and when I got home I would let the docs air out in my garage for or back porch for several hours before I shipped them. I told many of my hiring companies that I was doing this. Th borrowers were very happy about the whole set up. After awhile I couldn't get ahold of gloves so I'd bring hand sanitizer to the closing for everyone to use after the closing. But I still provide brand new pens for everyone to keep. I always wear a mask and most borrowers do as well.
This, by far, was one of the best videos on being a signing agent I’ve seen thus far. Very detailed and gave me more confidence!! Thanks tremendously 💙
