Ya, don't fall too hard for the hype. I paid almost $300 for my program with the "LSS" Family. Piece of advice, don't talk about anything other than notary and the minute you mention anything else, like the fact that you have to pay for the mentorship after your "Freebie" runs out in regards to your program you bought, You will be cut off. I got access to the group but couldn't post. Total hustle. so I used what I paid for and blew it off. I mean it only takes one person talking shit or telling the truth about a program or hustle to shut it down... or divert to another program.
Funny...I've been a realtor for 11 years. I started in 2009 and just decided to take a break for a year and put my license on hold by being a referral agent with Keller Williams. I was looking for something part-time with low stress, but not used to working for others as I've been enjoying my freedom from the typical office job and definitely will miss the income from real estate, but this is something I could totally do. I know all about real estate transactions, I know many escrow companies/officers, and I know tons of realtors! Being a signing agent seems like I could still enjoy an open schedule (set my own working hours), still make excellent income, but without all the stress of being a real estate agent. I never even knew that this type of career was out there. Mind Blown!!!
I'm a certified NSA already but wish I would have joined Mark's class instead of taking the training I chose. I love his energy and guidance he gives to help his students achieve greatness. He is a great instructor who cares deeply for his students and their success. My home closing was done by a graduate of his training.❤❤

My first signing was a refinance closing and there were 110 pages. The signing was 2 hrs. away, and I was a bit nervous because I didn't want any mistakes, but I couldn't have had a nicer couple to work with. Needless to say, I am excited for my next signing. Thank you Mark.

@RS I just finished my Notary class in AL and the teacher stated that we are not an Attorney State, the closing is preferred having a n attorney present. We had a lawyer in our class and he confirmed it... I really don’t know where the confusion began but I was told that we are somewhere between GA (a true attorney state) and FL (a true non-attorney state)

Thanks NNA & Mark. The struggle in my city, all 9 Escrow companies I have been to, have their preferred notaries or are dealing with signing companies. I do leave my card and a gift letting them know I'm available if their preferred notary is not available. How does one compete with that?
Hi Christine!! I always have to protect my students investment in my course so I cant give you the nuts of bolts how to overcome this common objection. But what i can tell you that you have to show value, focus on their needs, not yours. Think, "what benefits do they get to adding your their rotation?"-communicate this point and you will get a shot! if you all you are saying is i am ready and available then you havent let them know why they should give you a shot! Remember-every single "preferred notary" had to get in an office that already had preferred notaries. Then once you get that shot-then its up to you knock of their socks! if you ever want direct mentoring-id love to have you as a student!
That's funny because in your video with the Escrow agent, you said that no one cares about NNA certification. It means nothing to them. The Escrow agent agreed.
Hi Jack! Something is lost in translation! What was suppose to come across isn't that no one cares about the NNA certification, as it is REQUIRED by most title companies and every signing agent should absolutely be NNA certified. And know I also have EVERYONE of my students become NNA certified! What was meant by that comment is when it comes to marketing your business you have to learn to stand out, you have communicate your strengths, not just mention what certifications you have. Think about hiring a physical trainer-does the certifications the trainer have matter if they have never helped anyone lose weight or meet their fitness goals? Just saying you have a certification doesn't show how you are different and a better signing agent. The results you get does. I do not teach my students to say they are LSS certified either because it isn't certifications that get you business it is communicating your strengths that does! Hope that helps!

I am a new signing agent but I just got into the game. My stumbling block is how do I get the docs back to the lender. I see scanbacks or E-docs and am unsure how this is done.
If you are doing signing service business-you scan the signed loan docs (if the SS requires it) then you put the docs in Fed (or any over night service) with a prepaid slip that is provided for you (you do not pay for shipping out of your pocket) and its that easy! if you are working directly with an escrow and title company-you will simply drop off doc after the signing back to the escrow office.

How do I go about getting your pitch information on selling myself to the realtors , escrow, title and loan officers? What class would one take if we already have the commission. Hi, I know that this question was for Mark but as a former LSS student I may be able to help you here. You can take his most minimal class and all of the scripts are there. Honestly though there’s a lot of leg work involved. You have to reach out to the companies via phone (at least that’s what I do) and ask who handles their mobile notarizations. From there, the gate keeper will give you the email address or tell you that the company goes through a SS i e signing service. Which is good, because you will either sign up through that service as well or let them know that you’re already signed up through that agency and would like to extend your information as a preferred notary. One more tid bit is that your convenience fee can get you paid too. I just got $25 last night for stamping one piece of paper for a gentleman who was turning in an application to the fire department. So

It’s so weird listening to this... in Nashville TN, escrow officers told me they don’t use signing agents and close themselves in their title company. And real estate agents say they don’t have anything to do with closings, they just pass it off to the title company they work with. So what am I missing here??
The responsibilities of a Notary Signing Agent generally include printing loan documents, meeting the signer and notarizing their signature, and quickly returning the documents for processing. I am a new signing agent but I just got into the game. My stumbling block is how do I get the docs back to the lender. I see scanbacks or E-docs and am unsure how this is done.
If you are doing signing service business-you scan the signed loan docs (if the SS requires it) then you put the docs in Fed (or any over night service) with a prepaid slip that is provided for you (you do not pay for shipping out of your pocket) and its that easy!
if you are working directly with an escrow and title company-you will simply drop off doc after the signing back to the escrow office.

Good evening Mark. I am currently a signing agent. I am 100% interested in the Direct business part of the signings. How do I go about getting your pitch information on selling myself to the realtors , escrow, title and loan officers? What class would one take if we already have the commission. Hi, I know that this question was for Mark but as a former LSS student I may be able to help you here. You can take his most minimal class and all of the scripts are there. Honestly though there’s a lot of leg work involved. You have to reach out to the companies via phone (at least that’s what I do) and ask who handles their mobile notarizations. From there, the gate keeper will give you the email address or tell you that the company goes through a SS i e signing service. Which is good, because you will either sign up through that service as well or let them know that you’re already signed up through that agency and would like to extend your information as a preferred notary. One more tid bit is that your convenience fee can get you paid too. I just got $25 last night for stamping one piece of paper for a gentleman who was turning in an application to the fire department. So

It’s so weird listening to this... in Nashville TN, escrow officers told me they don’t use signing agents and close themselves in their title company. And real estate agents say they don’t have anything to do with closings, they just pass it off to the title company they work with. So what am I missing here??
The responsibilities of a Notary Signing Agent generally include printing loan documents, meeting the signer and notarizing their signature, and quickly returning the documents for processing.
