    Loved this vlog Megan, I can't believe the hotel you were staying at didn't have cleaning workers to clean and sanitize the rooms which is what they are supposed to have and do. Also the food looks ok plus I thought the foods you bought from America like Cheetos were already provided by the hotel staff.

    When you recommend bringing cleaning supplies, how is the liquid allowed on a plane?

    • @MeganOsten
      @MeganOsten  2 роки тому

      Liquids are allowed in your *checked* bag, just be careful to wrap them well in plastic bags and tape the caps of the lids for extra protection. I would recommend bringing cleansing wipes over liquid though (easier to pack and less leaking)

    Hi i leave in a week for korea, i have a question. What are the plugs in korea? should i buy an adapter?and how does one wash their clothes in quarantine? Thank you!

    • @MeganOsten
      @MeganOsten  3 роки тому +1

      If you check the link in my description, I recommend a CONVERTER for you to buy. Adapters are good, but converters are even more safe (it’s complicated but every country has a different amount of electricity coming from the plug. Especially if you have large electronic devices, a converter converters the energy coming from the plug to match what the device is programmed to work with). So you HAVE to have a converter or adapter to charge your devices here. (Here is a link to the adapters I bought and use: amzn.to/3gdXa7N but…. If you’re only going to buy one or the other, buy the converter.)
      The next video I’m posting will be the next part of this quarantine series and I should be talking about doing laundry in quarantine. BUT! Watch this video for more quarantine tips (like laundry): ua-cam.com/video/6EoSh1_oyAo/v-deo.html
      Lookout for my next video! Hope this helps :)

    Thanks for putting your videos together, it's definitely helping me feel more prepped to go through quarantine. Question about your pot -- it's only rated for 110V and it doesn't look like you have a power converter...is that true? I'm having trouble finding any electric hot pots rated for 220V that are available in the US, but don't want to buy that and then have it break right away. Any insights are appreciated!

    • @MeganOsten
      @MeganOsten  2 роки тому +1

      I’m currently in quarantine again and I bought a converter (I forgot mine last time). I would definitely recommend using one!! I linked the one I am using in the description box of this video.

    • @MeganOsten
      @MeganOsten  2 роки тому +1

      UPDATE! After using the converter with the pot a few times, I would not recommend it. The converter isn’t strong enough and has always worked well for me with my electronics, but the pot doesn’t seem to be a good match. It always shows the “overheated” symbol and I have to turn it off. I would recommend using a converter, but maybe one that is stronger. I still use this converter everyday with my electronics - I just don’t think it’s a good match for the pot.

    • @bunnycomplex22
      @bunnycomplex22 2 роки тому
