I was thinking to book the tickets at the beginning of September. is it possible the flight I book now maybe will be canceled for some reason because the pandemic?

    • @MeganOsten
      @MeganOsten  3 роки тому +1

      Honestly, if you’re truly planning on going, just buy the ticket now and whatever happens will happen. Tickets will only get more expensive the closer you get to leaving and they won’t cancel your ticket, but they might rebook your ticket (which won’t cost you anything).

    Thank you so much I'm so glad I found your video I have been stressing that part many times other videos have not spoken about the Korean address portion that's needed when you're filling out those forms or the messages were just very vague so thank you I was also told that you're going to need someone to vouch for you that's going to answer three questions does this sound familiar? And if so are you able to use your Airbnb host has information to answer those three questions?

    • @MeganOsten
      @MeganOsten  2 роки тому

      Hopefully you’re coming on a long term visa - correct? 😊 You’ll have to message your Airbnb host in advance and inform them that around ___ time (within two hours of when your plane lands in Korea) they will need to be available to take a phone call to confirm you’re staying in their Airbnb for quarantine. If they agree, then you’ll have to ask for their phone number so they can be called. Once you do land in Korea, I would highly encourage you to connect to the free wifi and remind them that they’ll be getting a call within the next hour or so! But you can only put their contact information down on these papers with their permission. Hope that helps!

    Thank you for all of the information in these videos! It’s really helping my nerves (although traveling internationally for the first time as a diabetic is scary enough)…
    I have a question about when I’ll have a chance to pick up the SIM card I reserved? The company is really good and they assured me they will get it to me if for some reason I can’t get it at the airport but I know my mother will freak if I don’t contact her lol Thanks again for all of the advice!
    Also speaking of diabetes, do you know if the facilities have a way for me to alert them I’m diabetic if for some reason I have an emergency (like low blood sugar)?

    • @MeganOsten

      Yes, you do! Depending on your visa, you can stay in an Airbnb (which you would personally pick and buy) or you can stay in a government quarantine facility (which you don’t get to pick but have to pay for).

    I'm really not looking forward doing this with my dog with me. It's going to be a nightmare. My only hope is by September they'll get rid of quarantine by September or it will be a long 14 days stuck in my apartment. And if my school isn't able to do that I'll be stuck spending a lot to find an Air BNB that will allow my dog. Fun stuff. But from all the work my recruiter has done he thinks he can get whatever school I end up to allow me in my apartment with my dog. Talk about stress for the last six months fighting with being unable to get my documents for my Visa and delaying my move repeatedly.

    Hello,
    We are planning to fly to Seoul to take our 17 year old son to attend college at Yonsei University. My husband, my son and I will be flying out 4 August and we already made a Covid19 test arrangement before we fly out. We also have an airBNB reservation in Songdo to stay close to the International Campus and are staying in Korea 6-31 August knowing that we have to quarantine for 14 days. We don't have any family in Korea and so my question is whether we can stay in our airBNB for quarantine as a family?
    I have been researching about this but just did not find any information about it.
    I Thank You for any clarification that you can share with me.

      If you are on a short-term visa (tourist visa) then you have to quarantine in a government facility. Longterm visas are allowed to stay in Airbnb’s.

    God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and *please repent.*
