Probably the best debut album ever made. Every song is good. The founder of the band is Tom Scholz (The Lead Guitarist) who is a Toledo Ohio Area Native but he was an Engineering Student at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) when he formed the band. He used recording and mixing equipment he built himself to record the album. He also developed the earliest form of wireless microphones and amps. Scholz is an engineering genius.

If you haven't heard it, "Walk On Medley" on the "Walk On" album is EPIC and a must listen for a "Boston" fan. I saw them perform it live in 2017 and it brought down the house!

Boston was the band and main musical projects of lead guitarist/keyboardist/bassist/songwriter Tom Scholz. He brought in Brad Delp on vocals and Sib Hashian on drums. All the rest of the instruments were played by Scholz! Glad you're getting into Boston. Their first album is one of those rare albums where every track is amazing. I highly advise listening to "Foreplay/Long Time" for another great one.
Growing up to this in the 70s was priceless. Boston has soooo many good songs. It's incredible seeing people of all races and cultures reacting to and appreciating great music 💜
