She slipped awaaaaaaaaaaAAAY- “well where she is..she heard you.” 😆🤣🤣
🤣😂🤣
Thanks for stirring up AWESOME memories!
Imagine being 15 years old with 20 best friends rocking a BOSTON concert at Giants stadium!
"Foreplay/ Longtime" "Peace of Mind" "Rock and Roll Band" "Smokin'" "Hitch a Ride" "Something About You" "Don't Look Back" "Amanda" "Higher Power" You almost can't go wrong with more Boston
I’d like to add feeling satisfied I love that song and also party which gets overlooked a lot from don’t look back
This list of songs is definitely necessity
Literally any song from the first album
Definitely peace of mind
The rare greatest hits album where every song actually fits the name.
Every time I see a "best rock singers ever" list, Brad Delp is never included and it pisses me right off.
Exactly! One the most underrated singers, ever!
Very fair point.
Couldn't agree more. Brad Delp's amazing vocals were just as responsible for the success of this debut album as Tom Scholz's genius. Could you imagine these outstanding songs without Brad Delp? I think not ;)
💯
True
I think "Smoking'" would be right up your alley...
😂😂😉
He smokes anymore and you'll be able to blindfold him with dental floss...
Come on guys, lets get him to react to Smokin!!! Def his jam....
That song is hot
YESSSSSSSS!! Good call!!!!!
Brad Delp RIP is one of the most underrated. Vocalists
drummer sib died too, while playing a song on a cruise ship.
@@G-I-JEZUS Yes that was sad and very recently I was just mentioning Brad because he was so astonished at his vocal range
Oh I didn't know that...so sad.
He died??? When?
With all due respect for the innovative guitar from Tom, there is no Boston without the glorious voice of the late, great Brad Delp! R.I.P. 🙏
Can I like this comment about 20 more times?
Brad had a voice straight from Heaven.
It breaks my heart that he left us.
He never received the accolades he deserved.
👍x1000
Those damn vocals send me into another Universe..dont wanna
come back either!!!!!!
"Wherever she slipt away to, she had to hear you!" That's awesome man. Too funny!
Dang right he could hit some insane octives!
The whole album is fire.
FYA🔥
U got that riiight
You ain't lying! 🔥
Caught lightning in a bottle
Amen to that! Love Boston!!
Fun Fact: The drummer's daughter is married to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson! Also, yea Boston! Love the band!
😳👍
*Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson?
Whoooiaaa no shit I had no idea
@@dawsonp3314 Yes! You are correct! I rushed... :)
@@dawsonp3314 Fixed it! Thx
Interesting fact: Boston didn't start off as an actual band. Tom Scholz recorded the entire first album by himself in his basement. He didn't put together a band until they needed to tour.
with the exception of Brad Delp doing ALL the vocals and they had two different drummers
Wasn't it like 157 years between their first and second album...
@@bearculb7717 156. haha
Thanks
@@bearculb7717 lol!
I still remember the first time I heard this back when the album came out. It was at Tony's house. Playing slot cars and eating baloney sandwiches on white bread with mustard and american cheese. We were 10 years old and knew we just heard something timeless and magical. Please take me back there. This life of lies, misery, deceit and corruption is killing my perfect memory.
Boston - Rock and Roll Band
Then jump to
Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4
Kansas - carry on my wayward son, point of no return, and dust in the wind
😍
Kansas for sure
Agree, but slight correction for one of Kansas' songs: "Point of Return." For the purists out there!
Apparently, UA-cam doesn't like underlines. So, here's the change: substitute "Know" for "No" in one of the Kansas songs listed.
More Boston songs:
- Rock & Roll Band
- Smokin'
- Don't Look Back
- Foreplay/Long Time
Boston is an Awesome Band!!!🤘
This is the one that started it all...since then...we could never get enough ...Boston!🎸🎵
They took the music world by storm with their first album...it sounded so rich and textured compared to others of the time.
They only released a few albums.
Thank you Mr.V for the great High School flash back. One of the great party songs from the 70's...if you only knew how much weed was smoked to this song in the Muncie Central HS parking lot ;)
😂
I was thinking the same thing! 😂😂😂
Muncie Indiana? I grew up in Michigan City!✌️💗😊
@@andrealarocco4941 Right On Michigan City... I believe we played ya'll in the Simi State. FYI for those not in tune with Indiana basketball The movie HOOSIERS is about Milan cheating and holding the ball vs MUNCIE CENTRAL the Basketball Capitol of the World lol 8 State Championships . I now play at the Indy 500 Speedwy during the summer and with the NBA Pacers during the winter... Indiana Boys on those Indiana Nights.. were are you Michigan City?
@@tonygvanpelt9902 As a matter of fact my older brother was class of 94 at Elston High School. I totally remember those basketball games we won state that year as well. Could be wrong. I left MC in 2001 moved back to Chicago for 6/7 years and now I live in Colorado for the last 13 years. My whole family lives out here now too so it’s awesome. I do miss the lake soooo much!! Our house was right on the lake in Long Beach!!
Nice to meet you my Hoosier friend!

"You Ain't Seen Nothin Yet" BTO
Yes!!! I've been wanting you to do Takin Care of Business!!!-
@@rhondabothelio7238 yes to this...
I can’t believe I forgot The Doors!!!!!! One of the biggest selling bands of all time! “Riders on the storm” , “people are strange” and “light my fire” are just the big hits off the top of my head. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve already heard some of their songs. They were huge.
What about the The Who and the Ramones. Those were great bands many if I could time warp back to those days I would.
The whole second verse is just GONE. This audio is the radio edit, overlaid with some live footage. React to the 4:45 length song! This video is only 3 minutes plus.
💯
The studio version is waaaaay better...
Exactly.
Yeah i thought i was crazy but yea the whole 2nd verse is missing😵
Yeah and the audio sounds like it's being played through an apartment wall. It's such a rich sounding song normally. Not that it's his fault or anything, ya get what ya get with a lot of these videos.
Next recommended Boston song: “Foreplay/Longtime”
One of the best concerts I've ever seen. High school memories flooding back.. RIP Brad Delp.
You should definitely do Boston 'Foreplay / Long Time' next ;)
Yes!!! One of my top favorites!
If I were ever restricted to choosing only one song that I could listen to for the rest of my life, that would be it.
Then... Peace of Mind, Smokin, Rock and Roll Band... the whole first album, lol. Oh, and do Amanda, just to prove they made more than one amazing GOAT album.
@@klaptongroovemaster amanda is so good. I haven't heard it in awhile.
Their first album is the one I would have if I could only have one album in my life.
"Hitch a Ride," "Party," "Something About You," "Smok'in"...especially because of your high expectations.. 🤏! Boston's debut is one of the best Rock albums ever! And I agree with Ronald...a crime that they aren't in the R&R Hall of Fame (and Bon Jovi is !). I know you typically don't do Albums, but this body of work warrants and you'll have time for 2 J's!
😍
I personally love DONT LOOK BACK, the best. No one reviews that one enough? Every time I hear that one on the radio, I drive just a little bit faster and happier. LOL❤️😜
"I see my MaryAnn walking awaaaaaaay"
Love me some Boston! Peace of Mind and Foreplay/Longtime are other great ones from them! And soooo many more!
Saw them in concert.. ended up in front of the speakers.. couldn’t hear right for days it was awesome 😎
Me, too! 5th row. My ears didn’t work at all for about a week. But it was so worth it!
I thought of two for you this morning! Jim Croce - Leroy Brown and Don't Mess Around with Jim. -- Also - Quiet Riot 'come on feel the noise' :) Have a brilliant day!
Come Feel the noise was done By SLADE Originaly IN 1973 , Way better Choice try em both and find out ,,
TRY the original band that did COME FEEL THE NOISE , The band Slade from the 70s A Fantastic band ,, YOU WILL Thank me
Yes indeed, my favorite from Boston! ♥️
❣️💯
Much love💯❣️🎶
@@christymearna3912 yes indeed, you know it ✌🏻💯♥️
Wishing you and your family a blessed holidays missgmoma❣️🌲🎉
@@christymearna3912 awww, thank you sweetie ❣️ I wish the same for you & all yours too. I hope your holiday season is the best & especially a safe one 🌟 stay blessed ✌🏻♥️
Only three full length albums and one of my all-time favorite bands
Do you mean only 3 albums with Brad Delp? They recorded 6 albums; the last 3 are: "Walk On", "Corporate America", and "Life, Love, and Hope". If you haven't heard it, "Walk On Medley" on the "Walk On" album is EPIC and a must listen for a "Boston" fan. I saw them perform it live in 2017 and it brought down the house!
@@roccaclassico9028 Yes I’m talking Boston don’t look back and third stage although I do love the song he did with Barry called rockin away I loved that song but I was just speaking of the actual three Boston albums I do know about the others
Not even watched the video yet and the beginning has got me in stitches 🤣🤣
Clicked like when I saw the title! Yep! Second I had to turn up the volume. Love this song!!!! Takes me back to the summer of 1978! Best summer of my childhood! Thanks for this reaction, @mr.video
I definitely remember playing this 8-track in my car stereo back in high school. Man I wish I still had that car!
I'm sure you don't miss that 8 Track!
All my buddies that could afford those new high tech cassette players for their cars would just give me their 8-track tapes. Man I had everyone.
@@joecrone9862 I hated 8 Tracks. They kept dragging. Seemed like I was always fighting the damned things to work halfway decent. Only time I would use them was to play those vulgar "trucker" tapes my bf and I would sneak from his parents. Haha! We would play them in the dash 8 Track player in his mom's 1975 Chrystler New Yorker. Beautiful car!
Me too. I had a 65 Mustang my senior year.
@@toodlescae Nice!
She heard you, she should be on her way back..
THIS is why I adore you. Thank you so much for listening to this song!
BOSTON!!! This song is incredible! Iconic!!! This group is so talented 👌
Yes honey you should do more Boston reactions! They’re one of my all time favorite bands! 👏🏻
Boston was something of a phenomenon when they appeared on the scene, the first album is widely regarded as one of the best debut rock albums of all time, written by Tom Scholz in his basement with Tom playing all the instruments, he recruited Brad Delp for his ridiculous voice and the rest is history. See also:
Foreplay/Long time
Smokin
Rock n Roll Band
I’ve always said there is good music, great music, and then there is More Than a Feeling! This song is as near perfection as it’s possible to achieve.
Boston is some serious ear candy. Their first album is perfection. Put the headphones on & crank it up 🎧🎶😎
That’s one hell of a song💯💯💯💯
More great Boston songs are "Amanda" "Peace of Mind" "Don't Look Back" "Long Time" "Smokin'" "Rock and Roll Band" "Let Me Take You Home Tonight"
Most underrated vocalist. Whenever I see a top vocalist list, I never see him on anyones lists when he should be.
Listen to 'a man I'll never be " for amazing vocals. You are simply adorable playing 70's music. There are great messages in that generation of music. Love, peace, faith, family, unity and hope. And unfortunately loss on an unimaginable scale from the Vietnam war. So much was going on with our 18 year old men being drafted to Vietnam. We protested the war, had sit-ins for peace. Can you imagine the emotions we were experiencing in the 60's and 70's. Our music explains it. God bless you. ♥️🙏
Smoked many a Good Dubey to Boston! 😂
👍👍
Fun fact: Kurt Cobain changed around the chords in the chorus and made "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
Hmm, doesn't make sense with the 2 first chords of the two songs, both second chords rises from the previous chords. Maybe he modified the result slightly?
@@DaP84 hmm
G C Em D to E A G C is not all that close but samey enough I guess, the strumming pattern may have been influential too while not a straight copy or reversal.
Wow!!
He was actually looking to “rip off” the pixies
Okay guitar geeks settle down!!
Man...that's what I'm talkin about willis! lol. THAT'S SOME OLD SCHOOL JAM!! LOVE BOSTON!! 😊😊💪💪💯💯💯💯
Highest debut of all time ‼️‼️‼️ unbelievable fantastic album. Everybody in the 1970s had this xxx
The Tape recording on this one been sitting too long and went bad ,but good song . React to Boston - Fore Play / Long Time
I saw Boston in 1987 at Starwood Amphitheater close to Nashville, Tennessee. It was for the Third Stage album. I was rolling a joint and a hand stuck $5 over my shoulder. I gave the joint to the person without looking. Later that same hand tapped me again. It was my dad's best friend. Oops. LOL
His voice is so pure and clean!
Boston was the band and main musical projects of lead guitarist/keyboardist/bassist/songwriter Tom Scholz. He brought in Brad Delp on vocals and Sib Hashian on drums. All the rest of the instruments were played by Scholz!
Glad you're getting into Boston. Their first album is one of those rare albums where every track is amazing. I highly advise listening to "Foreplay/Long Time" for another great one.
I’ve been hoping you’d react to this some time soon!! Unreal tune!
Also you should try "Voices Carry", by "Til Tuesday". I think you would love it .
yesss i second that
Something about her voice.... i LOVE that song still...
I can karaoke the HECK out of that song. 😊
@@honorsilverthorne7227 i have done it well myself
Yes he should !
That was an edited version, parts were cut out. Boston is Tom Scholz, the guy playing the goldtop Les Paul, but yea Brad Delp (RIP) singing was a big part of their sound. The inspiration for this song was "Walk Away Renee" by The Left Banke from the 60s.
How Brad Delp never lost his fantastic singing voice amazes me. Incredible song.
Such a cool, beautifully constructed track. I'm a big Boston fan..you will be too!🔥🎸
Reminds me of being at the lake in the summer of my teenage years!! Frickin awesome time that was. Thank you. Have a great day sweetie. Love the jeans.......😊❤️🎄
Rip Brad delp. He could just sing in every range and make you feel it! Listen to more Boston. They’re just going to blow your mind
Do Peace of Mind, Smokin, A man I'll Never Be, Don't Look Back, Fore Play just for starters. Everything by Boston is a classic. Brad Delp (RIP) had one of greatest voices in rock history! One of the greatest tunes ever!
Boston, "Rock and Roll Band," "Foreplay/Long Time" and "Smoking."
She should be on her way back LOL! You’re funny Mr. video. My weeks are complete without a visit with you!
"She heard you"!!!. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brad Delp is AMAZING!!!❤❤❤
“Wherever she slipped away to man she had to hear you, she should be on her way back!”
Hahahahahaha awesome
You really need to listen on a much better quality sound to fully appreciate!
Erin: He has earphones/earbuds in.
And yes, , I agree, music MUST be listened to with high-quality speakers. It makes all the difference in the world.
@@bex7779 I actually meant a better UA-cam video. There are better quality videos of the music!
And the full version, not this short version.
You are right! I watched that video the other day and the audio quality is terrible!
@@erin8516 Oh. Yes. Agreed!

Hi! There’s sooooo many GREAT Boston songs! My sister & I would skip church, cruised area called “ The loop” in Daytona, listening to Boston, REO Speedwagon, Annie Lennox “WOULD I LIE TO YOU” * GREAT SONG, You’d have to move furniture cause you’ll be dancing everywhere! We’d smoke weed, then hit Wendys for a frosty! I’m LMMFAO just thinking about those times!🤟🏼✌🏼 thanks!
I love watching kids react to music I took for granted when I was a kid. We rocked back then.
Best song to start the day... Keep rockin' 🙃
The sad thing is that the lead singer died... He had a hell of a vocal range.
summer of 1977, I was in college. people played this some one hundred and eleventy billion times.
Legit made me laugh when you said, "she heard you, she on her way back"
One of my all time favorites, my righteous guy. Thanks for the reaction video
Growing up to this in the 70s was priceless. Boston has soooo many good songs. It's incredible seeing people of all races and cultures reacting to and appreciating great music 💜
Anything off their first album will blow you away. It's one of the best and most complete albums of the era.
Yup I still have the space ship!!! 😂
The album's in me big quaddrafonic Magnavox!!!
I’m from Boston and these guys shaped a bit of Rock & Roll👍🏻🎼
You would have to be dead in spirt to not realize Boston band members are top shelf talent.
JOURNEY - WHEEL IN THE SKY
Hitch A Ride is my favorite from Boston. Leo, you should definitely check it out. 🔥☮️🔥
I Guess im not the only man that like s 70s music
This is one of my favorite songs and I heard it decades after it was released and it was still good to me then as it is now.just lk u ive got into alot of music that was not during the time I was getting into music but just lk u if its good then its good always and thank u for showing me songs we both can hear together for the first time..u are awesome and all these bands need to thank u for bringing new people to their music

- (Lynyrd Skynyrd) - “That Smell” or “Tuesday’s Gone” Audio Versions 🔥🤷🏻♂️😂
"Tuesday's Gone" was covered by Metallica. It's ok, but nowhere near as good as Skynard.
Tuesdays Gone is there best,I started to think nobody liked it but me
😍
Why not just "Sweet Home Alabama"‼️🔥😁
Yes!!!! Please do more Lynyrd Skynyrd!!!! That smell, Tuesdays gone, cry for the bad man, don't ask me no questions, on the hunt...
Tom Schultz made that album in the basement of a house in Ottawa Hills
Watertown, Ma.
Boston is a rare case. They recorded their first album and all of it is brilliant. They never had the same success again.
They don’t have a single dull song. Every single one a banger
R.I.P. Brad Delp. A true vocal talent. This album was all that back in the day. You gotta do more of it.
I grew up on this.
💘
As an old lady, I have always thought that this song is a great classic and is highly underrated. It holds up!
@Energetic Coach My teen years were in the Sixties, which were awesome in retrospect. We had more freedom than any generation of teens before us, and we used it! We sort of invented cool. Glad you enjoy those tunes!
Boston is my favorite band and Feelin Satisfied is my favorite song. worth a listen!
The singer, Brad Delp committed suicide a few years back. Help is available, and people WANT to help. Start by being kind to yourself. Peace and love, Billy G
" Anyway you want it" , " Dont stop believing" both by Boston. Gotta do them. Sorry thats Journey, my bad, that was bad.
😂😂
One of the great songs to enjoy your altered state of mind to - back in the day.
Brad Delp could go up 4 octaves! He was an awesome singer & performer and nobody could hold their notes like he could. RIP Brad. x

These guys were my first real rock concert back in ‘78. (Sammy Hagar “the Red Rocker” opened). My friend and I were in the 5th row slightly to the right of the stage... with the sound coming right at us. Great show. Capes, fog machines, explosions. They didn’t need all that. Much weed was smoked. Brad Delp was greatly under appreciated. We were pulling the stuffing out of our jackets to use as earplugs. Couldn’t hear at all for almost a week. But it was so worth it. 💜💜💜
This song I have huge memories of! My high school sweetheart taught me how to play that little guitar riff at the beginning of this song! WOW Thank you for sharing your music journey- it is really taking me back thru my own life with these songs!! Thank you for being genuine & awesome Mr Video!
Imagine the voice Brad Delp and Mariah Carey could spawn
Good Lord, they were so great. Brad Delp, man. ❤️
It was the 70’a. Everyone had crazy funky outfits. One of the best songs EVER
This is the definition of an old school rock band back in the day
