Tasmania 27 Drouin to Torquay

Part 27 of 33 of a road trip from Brisbane to Tasmania, returning via Victoria's Great Ocean Road, Central Victoria, Great Alpine Road and Canberra.
We left Drouin on a wet day which cleared as we approached the Sorento terminal of the vehicular ferry service that crosses the heads of Port Phillip Bay. The crossing takes about 50 minutes and was most comfortable. So we crossed, on the water, our routes to and from Tasmania.
A short tour of the Bellarine Peninsula, including lunch at Portarlington, was followed by a visit to Point Lonsdale and a drive to Torquay for an over night stop, via Barwon Heads. We were at the northernmost end of Victoria's Surf Coast.
