My 2020 dodge 1500 has started doing this. Left the truck with my mechanic for a week and he couldn't get a code to show. It would stall out a a red light or stop sign in the heat of the day. Getting worse today so I'll get it back to the shop. I'll show my mechanic this video. Thank you
Any mobile mechanics in Lafayette,LA? I changed all sensors, coil packs, spark plugs, egr valve, and my truck still stalls on take off big time only thing left the buy is new ECM idk if it a vacuum leak or what
The individual coil packs and honestly the throttle body is dirty as crap. So, clean your throttle body and the sensors attached to the side of it. Also, these rams are also known for their sludge build up because they like to burn oil. This sludge can ultimately kill your vehicle. So make sure to flush with every oil change.
@@kellykolnes1954maybe they mean using sea foam to get rid of the carbon buildup before it blows up a head gasket. Little grains over a long time Can create a mountain or some shit.
From what I'm seeing, and hearing, no one really knows what's causing it they just keep replacing things until they find the correct issue . I have this issue. I bought my buddy truck he passed away. The first owner of the truck he said it's been doing the stall thing from the beginning. The truck has 86 thousand miles on it like new . It's so frustrating, very dangerous pulling out in front of traffic. People say this or that one guy said the seal on Transmission filter. If it's not perfectly fitted, it causes bubbles in the fluid, causing a miss read, thus stalling. I'll give that a shot.
It's an issue with the throttle switch everybody keeps saying this and that and everything else but I've put a pedal commander in three different Rams now that's stalled God damn near everything you came to a stop at like it's a clutch or something and you don't even have to turn the pedal commander on You will never stall again I swear to you on that and a pedal commander is fun to have and it's also better to have a pedal commander for your throttle because it's quicker and easier to control unlike a tuner where you have to go back in and modify things just to get to it and get the switch right there in front of you to do what you want tune everything else but ped😅 commander for the throttle it'll never stall again and feel like you got a lot more horsepower but you're actually just using the horsepower you already had but couldn't use have fun
My 2012 like to start but cut off right after but starts fine after has the 4.7L with the pedal commander I noticed it stayed on for long periods of time after trucks shut off I turned it off to start then just turn it back on after the truck was running seem to interfere with the pedal switch on the pedal it's self but didn't know fs
I have 2005 dodge ram 1500 5.7 magnum hemi.. changed plugs and wires and coil packs and water pump and replaced the manifolds and gaskets. When i bought the truck aomeonw cut the catalytic converters off and atraight piped it. The truck never had a problem running when i first had it. Manifolds were leaking and i replaced that. It ran better and didnt have a lroblem for awhile. So i decided to replace plugs and coils because they were old. So i changed that and for the first couple of days it ran great. Then after that is when the truck started to stall and shut off at stop lights and losing power and somwtimes hard to start back. Codes i get are O2 sensors high voltage and low voltage on both. Engine light use to flash when driving but now hasnt done it in awhile since i changed the coils and plugs and wires. Im wondering if it is the MAP sensor or crank shaft sensor or O2 sensors or fuel injectors..
Yes. It was sucking air for some reason. Make sure you get those bolts back to 20 ft pounds also! Another thing you can check is the throttle body. They build up with carbon on these trucks.
I’ve been having the same problem for 3 years and I have spend a lots of money replacing all kinds of parts and still my truck does stall,I don’t know what else should I do,I have change EGR VALVE,all the sensors, throttle body,I even changed the computer on the truck and still doing the same thing, also my RPMs are at 500 which I think is very low but I don’t know,I hope some one reads this and give me a clue on what else I should do,my truck is a 2005 5.7 hemi Daytona edition
I have an 08 Ram and have the same issue. Stalls out when coming to a stop or in bumper to bumper traffic and not pressing the gas pedal. Its very frequent if its hot outside and if i just filled up my gas tank. I've noticed it occurs less when i dont fill past 3/4 of a tank. I also noticed my voltage gauge drops almost to nothing. If you've already replaced EGR, check the lines going to it. I also saw a fix where someone checked the connectors under their TIPM Power supply module and 1 of the 4 connectors was not secured and after they locked it down it resolved the issue. I just ordered a Vapor Canister Purge valve solenoid as well as MAP sensor. I'll let you know if either fix it when i get the parts next week.
I already replace everything you are planning to replace and still but the only thing I haven’t replace is the lines for EGR valve I think I’m going to do it pretty soon
Wanted to give an update in case you haven't resolved your issue yet. I kept having the stalls and watching the battery voltage gauge and RPM's drop every time I came to a stop or in slow traffic. What has 100% worked and fixed my issue so far, is I found a loose connector (Blue one) on back of my TIPM box. It's like it had been disconnected and barely hanging on this whole time. Plugged it back in properly and checked wires for any damage and now my battery gauge no longer drops and truck stays running when i come to a stop. Not sure if this could be your issue but it was mine, and just wanted to pass along to anyone that may have experienced or is experiencing the same. **Check all connections on back of your TIPM**
@@The_Lost10mm thank you man for sharing,I will check every single wire on that TIPM I will let you know if my issue is fixed and again thanks for letting me know.

Tightened and problem solved. That problem anyways lol😂😂

Flushing is a good way to destroy your engine. Ask me how I know.
To flush you say 🤔. What you gunna flush . I'd like to hear this flushing technique you speak about.

Can you please tell me where I can find the TCM on the truck??? I have the same one
The TCM is in the PCM on this truck.

You should recheck the coils and plugs. I purchased a bad coil once and I had similar issues.
Having the same exact problem getting code po430 no other codes just keeps stalling randomly and is now getting hard to start back up
Also if you are getting code p0430, check the 02 sensors.
Did Egr valve fix it ?? I just did crank sensor and got worse
The EGR valve solved my problem.

Check that throttle body position sensor. That can cause the engine not to start also.
