You're gonna love her. As you mentioned. Lots of thrust, but not much speed, but enough for me. As you get used to her, you'll see that she'll slow down a bit on landings. Keep a little speed on the roll out, reduce gradually and work the rudder for a perfect landing. (I've made a few videos on this sweetheart).. Great review, really like your channel. - Will
I agree! After flying some more flights, love this bird! 2nd landing after maiden was smooth and very easy roll out that stayed on center line. I adjusted rudder too,as i mentioned in video which help ground handling too.Normally i adjust but got to excited cause Corsair is my favorite bird and been waiting all winter :D Thanks for the compliment and watching ,Will!
I hear both ways.Ill say its not a upper end speed for a warbird, especially compared to Eflite 1.5m P51 .However i enjoy the thrust for climbing and pulling big ol bird around 😁 Thanks Jeff in LA!
Brad like you're channel. Especially love you're transmitter tutorials. I have this plane and love it. I love flying scale but this bird is big and heavy with a BIG prop. Just something to keep in mind if you want too. I did an upgrade the same one that RC Informer did. I just happened to have a 8s 120amp ESC and put that in there and set it too high timing and wow what a difference. I have had about 15 flights and no problems with the motor or prop hub ( I inspect the prop hub if i fly it on 8s after EVERY flight). If you want too fly 6s you can just put a 6s battery in it. At half throttle i am at full throttle with stock. I just like too have a little more just in case i get into a little trouble and with it stock you just dont have anything left. If stock put in there a 6s 7000mah and put it all the way foward till it stops and pull back about 3 to 4 inches and she will balance perfectly. I live in Corryton TN myself and what attracted me to you're channel was the Vols T. Anyway very nice flight
Thanks for the info. I thought about maybe trying 8s. I went up to a 6200 and felt better. So i need a heavier 6000 or 7000 as you mentioned. Im in Knoxville,so we live close. Go Vols! 😎
Very nice job on the review! I was surprised to hear that this is your first ever Corsair, but it looks like you made a good choice. Keep em comin buddy 😉👍👊
Have you flown this Aircraft more since the making of this video and How do you like it after using it more? As always I enjoy your videos as well as your reviews. Great work👍👍As far as GQ sometimes you have to lean toward the nose heavy side with most warbirds,
Yes,got alot more flights on it now. Corsair is my favorite Prop Warbird so i enjoy flying this model. I did testing and comparison with 6S and 8S too.
Id get a bigger battery and push it all way forward (firewall). I moved up to a SMC 6200 and still need tad bit more weight in front. I used battery and location i seen on another channel (which i never really do) and it made weight too far aft...
10lbs is without battery. Flightline is slightly smaller (wingspan and size overall). Also is noticeably faster too. Parts are easier and more reasonable. FMS more detailed and better quality. Both nice planes tho...
Thanks! i have two and hav't maiden either LOL, This helps a lot
Good to hear! Lets get those birds in the air :)
great looking Corsair...nice flight ! ...
Agree, good looking Corsair for sure! Thanks JCB!
If I was to get a Warbird, this would be the one I'd want! Great Job Man🤙
I heard that! Thanks bro!
Great job as always BD. Btw, did you sell that hsdjets Cessna 182?
Thanks Jess! Yes it sold.

Yes sir! Warbirds is my other favorite :)
Brad great maiden, always thought this Corsair gets a bad rap for its speed. Jeff in LA USA

Beautiful corsair BD. 😊
Thanks Roy, beautiful for sure!
Great review - I have one still in the box waiting to put it together - been sitting for 6 months.
You mentioned CG - - what do you recommend?

Thats a beauty!
Agreed,Thanks John!
I have a FlightLine 1600mm F4U Corsair that I bought 3 years ago and haven’t put it together yet. I guess I need to get it in the air..
Flight Corsair is a ripper! I seen couple fly recently to compare visually. You going to like that one too!
Thanks for review mate. Im just deciding between this or the Flightline 1.6m. Is that 10lb weight quote with lipo too? Cheers. Mark 🇬🇧
