Very nice build, you just gave me an idea on how to build my next photo booth. I'm working on building my 5th photo booth and was basically looking to build something different than what I already have.
I noticed during the video that the photo booth fit snugly into the case. Then, by following the link in the description for the case, you see that the inside dimension of the case is 57.5 inches X 18 inches X 6 inches. So, for those of you who want the dimensions for the photo booth, it should be really close to those measurements.
Thanks for encouraging me to do my own. I follow all your videos. When my lights came in yesterday I set them up like you placed yours and I found it messed with the camera some. I chose to have mine forward and made a few other changes.
what software have you used in the ipad or it just you have placed it in the booth where the client will route itself to the camera and click the picture? can you create a video on that?
For a power supply that isn’t clunky that might fit in there easier, I would look into the Halo Bolt. They are about $100 each. You can get 2-3 as a backup just in case but the battery should last at least a few hours at a time. It can power an EV ZLX 15 for 2 hours with a microphone and mixer at a pretty loud volume so I imagine a photobooth would last pretty long in comparison since the iPad has its own battery.
I tried that. I was hoping it would work. The lighting requires an Edison plug. The problem with that halo bolt is of you have the Edison plug pack on, it delivers the same amount of energy whether something is plugged into it or not, so it dies in two hours. We tested it twice and couldn't get anymore than 2 hours out of it.
Nice build!! Simple, yet elegant! I especially like the battery powered idea! I'm wondering if the HALO Bolt 58830 mWh Portable Battery pack would suffice to power this? Thanks for the idea! This will definitely be a future build of mine!
The halo bolt won't last if you use the Edison plug. The ONLY downside to the halo bolt is that when using the Edison plug, it will die in two hours regardless on if anything is plugged into it. It delivers constant energy even if nothing is plugged into it.
@@djjustino5203 so the lights are hooked up to their own power supplies and is controlled by a remote. So I set the lights to white for weddings and set it to patterns if I have an outdoor event of I don't need lighting for the booth. The base is a Rockville collapsible totem base which you can purchase from Amazon, just the bases.
Hey buddy I kinda copied your build. Thanks for the info. If I could post a pic of mine I would. I used a light ring on top instead of the ipad in the wood but same sizes and led also found appliance glossy white spray paint over the 4 coats of high gloss helped. I did not have the stand so I glued and screwed to pieces of 3/4 ply wood together.
I would like to share what I did with you for your next one. I built mine today in 6 hours bur I have been a finish carpenter for 32 years and have own my own cabinet shop in the past.
I don't offer prints. I'm a solo-op, so I don't have time to worry about having to reload printers or media. I advertise mine as a digital photo station.
This video did its job! Thank you for creating it !!
If you don't mind. Can u share dimensions?

Such a beautiful piece. Very inspired.
What are the measurements used for the frame and plywood?
Maybe replace the velcro with strong magnets. This is GREAT! Thanks.

Where can I get the bottom stand from?
Do you have any photos taken from it that you can share to see how the images came out?
Love it brother
I just got the same base. Can you tell me where I can find the parts you used to fasten the wood to the base

Do guests control the lights with a remote or an app on the ipad?

Hey do you have all the measurements and materials you used...
Nice build, have you thought about using vinyl wrap to cover the booth vs paint? I made an arcade cabinet and used it, turned out nice.
is it possible to get the size of the product ? thank you!
You could do the Milwaukee Tools batteries for Impacts and power drills. Then that would run 4-6 hours of power. Any home depot has this setup.
Thank You, Thank You Thank You!!
Can you share measurements please? Of if you have plans on how to build it out that would be super helpful. Thanks.
What app do you use? Great idea btw
Great job!
Do you mind providing the cut dimensions? I am wanting to do something similar.
Do u sell these? Very cool..
That looks really nice - what Photo both App do use on the iPad?

did the HALO Bolt 58830 mWh work for you
Can you add a built in mini printer.
Thanks Travis, I love the idea of a DYI Photo booth. Can you talk about the software needed?
I use Snappic

Any ideas on why my build feels a bit flims?. Meaning it wobbles with finger point pressure when pressing on the iPad
Nice build what about the printer 🖨?

I'm trying to find you on facebook so I can send you a message. I'm looking to build one of these looking for the measurements to cut the wood. Thanks
