Just stumbled across this video and ordered my kit! My ring light and ipad will be here Wednesday. I already have the totem. I'll uplight the totem with an Ape Labs coin and use a couple of Ape labs glowtubes on each side. I'm excited about adding a photo booth now. I never realized it could be this simple. Is a printer still something that's required or are most people just doing digital these days?
Great, and yes...it is quite easy to install and set up. As for printing, it really is just a preference as to what you want to offer. Given the social media sharing world we are in right now, you may find that most people just want to share and not print. However there may be events where the guest wants to have prints on site, so you may want to invest in one just in case. You can always charge more for printing vs not, so it isn't a waste of a purchase. You can find event printers at eventprinters.com or imagingspectrum.com. I'm sure there are other places but I know of those two. Keep in mind though when printing from an iPad photo booth, you need a secondary device like a laptop or wifi adapter. The idea being that the photos tranfer via wifi to the device, and that is what is connected to the printer. For example if using the Touchpix photo booth app, they actually have their own device to connect. Lumabooth uses a sharing app to download onto a laptop. In any case, make sure to ask those questions when deciding on your photo booth app.
The links work but just aren't currently clickable. It's a UA-cam thing. I have to meet some verification requirement for them to become clickable. Until they do that, you can copy and paste them into your browser. If you want to just click them though, you can see all of them on Rumble, as they are clickable there. rumble.com/v2s12l4-diy-ipad-photo-booth-how-to-build-your-own-ring-light-photo-booth.html
Great. Yes...although some of the photo booths out there are beautiful, they really are way overpriced in my opinion. In the end, it's just a stand and a ring light that holds your iPad. It seems ridiculous to spend thousands of dollars to do that.
I haven't done it for those, but I may be able to. What is the model of your tablet? I'll look it up and let you know. Feel free to answer here or email me at otphotobooths@gmail.com
Do you mean the slim stand that has the white base plate? If so, it can come in black but I would need to order the black plate so it may take a week or so. If you mean the white tripod being black instead, again, same thing. I would need to order it, however it would be cheaper to order that directly as mentioned in the video.
There are several to choose from, but look into Lumabooth, Touhpix and Snappic. Those 3 will give you a range of features and pricing options. Lumabooth will be the most cost friendly of the 3, and is also a bit easier to use as it's all done on the app, whereas the other 2 will have you do it on a computer, then brought into the app via a QR code. If you are looking for more features though, then Touchpix and Snappic will be better for you.
Hi, Can I ask you what size in meters is the 32 is it - 1 metre or 1.5meters (guessing 1 meter) my search shows both on rpt32w and looking at the one you are stood next to throws me out as it looks more like 2 meters. I've noticed there is now one called 'Go' which you can pull the pins out and adjust up and down, looks better to me but it's out of stock here in the uk. Appreciate you letting me know, thanks
The rtp-go version is easier to transport and also allows you to set it at even lower heights, but you'll probably never do that anyways. They only made that for easier transport purposes. The rtp32 is the one you want because it starts at 39 inches tall, and goes up to 6 ft. You'll never use that height though. Typically, you will just go up one notch which puts it at 45 inches tall.
For sure Lumabooth. Everything is done on the app and it's only $20 a month. If you want more features and backend options, then I like Touchpix. However it has a bigger price point as you'll see if you check them out. There are weekly, monthly, and yearly options.
I actually make them to sell with my plate kits. However, you can find similar pole mounts on Amazon, that you'll be able to make work with those stands.
@@reginaredwood5533 You can get the kits for the lights, or even listings with lights, on otphotobooths.com. As for the 22 inch ring light, unfortunately I don't make them for that size light.

so happy I came across your video. getting my list together for an order.

How about for Fire tablets?
I haven't done it for those, but I may be able to. What is the model of your tablet? I'll look it up and let you know. Feel free to answer here or email me at otphotobooths@gmail.com
Where do you get the pole bracket from?
You can just search Amazon for Vesa pole mount, and you''ll find them.
I went to your website & I saw a complete setup with stand does that also come in Black???

I accidentally got this style but in 22 inch. To late to take it back
can you also share info about the app? Software app and option for printing?

Can the iPad be taken out once everything is constructed?
Yes you can. You'll just remove the 2 screws on the faceplate to remove that, then flip the faceplate over to remove / place your iPad.

Great
The totems do not come standard with a mount that long. The standard speaker mount is about 6” long. Where did you get the longer mount?
I actually make them to sell with my plate kits. However, you can find similar pole mounts on Amazon, that you'll be able to make work with those stands.
@@OTPhotoBoothshello I am interested in the roaming booth style. How can I order i accidently bought a 22 inch ring light. Can it still be used

@@OTPhotoBooths hello I don't see a price for the pole attachment
@@OTPhotoBooths thanks what are the pole attachment called on amazon
Can it be used on a C stand?
I may have just answered you on Etsy, but yes it can. It just requires a different bracket to fit on the skinnier pole.
All the links are cut off and therefore don't work
Yeah it's a UA-cam thing. If you scroll the comments though, I also posted them there.
I'm interested in buying - can you help with shipping to Canada? I've DM'ed your facebook page!
