LOGIC! THANK YOU My wife and daughter bought this light 6 months ago, but I never thought of utilizing it this way. That technological mind of yours coupled with your artistic ability, the mindset to create your own photo booth with out spending $$$ and have a dope looking dj presentation is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Thank you and of course we want 1. God Bless💪🏿👊🏿🙏🏿
Hi! Can you please please list down exactly what I need to buy from the hardware store because I want to DIY this too and make money out from a photobooth business. Would be such a MASSIVE help if you reply thank you soo much!
Greetings Logisticalstyles!!! Question.... Do you uses a a sharing station when gigging? Im in the middle of trying to customize one using my OLDER ipads.
Try the 4" pipe. I think I used a different stand for the one I use in the video which is why it fit so snuggly in my 3" pipe. I've made a few more of these and have had to make some adjustments since the stand wasn't fitting. I've removed the center pole of the stand and extended it to fit the opening. I'm going to do an update video to show what changes I've made to the process.
Not yet. All of my events so far have been in well lit places. The color lights are more for attention getting. This is why I prefer the 18” light because when you switch to White, it gets really bright.
Thank you for sharing! I’m excited to get one going. What thickness is the round wood for the iPad/ring light? I’m feeling like the 1 inch is too heavy. Thank you for the awesome video!
One inch is definitely too heavy. I’ve used 1/8 and 1/4 inch plywood. The 1/8” was good enough. I’m still looking for some other options for the back plate though.
@@logisticalstyles ok great! I’m going to try it with 1/4. Thanks for all your great tips! I’m a photographer and looking to add my iPad with luma booth but all the options online were way too pricey!
Very smart construction, it's the easiest build I've seen. Using a flange was very surprising! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for checking out the video!

TY brother, much appreciated. Very gracious of you to share this valuable information
Brilliant! Thanks for sharing!
Outstanding Video, I am making mines now. I purchased a 3" pipe and the tri-pod would not fit so I am going to get a 4" pipe. Is that what you used?

❤💯 building this today. I was trying to come up with something light, sleek and simple.
Nice! I hope it turns out well.
The stand is genius!
Thank you!
What size pvc pipe is needed? And base? Trying to make one for my daughter
You can use either 3" or 4" diameter pipe. I cut it to 40" in length.
Where did you get the Ipad holder on the ring light?
I bought it off of Amazon. It's just a generic case with Velcro attached to the back.
When you build it, does it come with the ring light?
Yes it does, or you can choose your own.
Great job
Thanks!

Hey!! The wood circle back.. would I get that from home depo!
You can get the wood from there but it has to be cut into a circle. I use a jigsaw to make the cut.
@@logisticalstyles thank you for replying!!
Yes or Lowe's
Awesome build. Have you had problems with customers having to switch light for photos?

@@logisticalstyles Do you feel like it is sturdy enough? My head unit has some give in it but it does feel mostly stable. I ended up using 1/8 wood.
How can I buy one ? I’m interested!
Sorry I missed this comment. You can email me at djlogic26@hotmail.com for more info!
How much would you charge to build one like this?
I sell them for $275. That doesn't include the iPad/tablet and iPad case.
@@logisticalstyles shopping to the UK?
This is awesome! Can I ask how much do you charge to rent it out, thanks in advance.
It varies depending on length of time but it gets around $400 for three hours.
What size iPad will fit in this light?
I use this with an iPad Air which is 10.9". The full sized 12.9" iPad Pro will not fit.
How do we order? Do you ship to Texas?
I can ship to Texas. You can contact me at logisticalstyles@gmail.com for sales
Which ipad do you use?
I am currently using the iPad Air 4th Gen.
@@logisticalstyles how is the quality of the photos?
with all respect can you tell me what you are used for base?
I use an 18” round piece of wood. My local hardware store, Home Depot, sells them already cut for $15.
@@logisticalstyles Thank you so much for your response
How long are the pieces of pipe you using?
48 inches
Thank you!!😊
Is that the size of the 2 pieces that this attached by the middle?
Can you please inbox me or tell me what application toir using for the iPad for pics
I use the Lumabooth app. It's the most affordable but I also liked Snappic when I did the free trial.
