The amount of time and research you put in your vids is just awesome, very much appreciated!!!!!
Glad you like them!
Not trying to be mean... I don’t think it's the LeMatt's fault for missing shots.
Hit or miss, guess you never miss :P
he was "aiming" with the shotgun. that doesn't help accuracy and made it much hard to see at that range
The pocket SG and extra compact ammo is when I use let mat
If I don't benefit from both or ither I use pax or 6 shot Caldwell because the RNG is to high for me
@@emoAnarchist Ya that's the problem people forget or underestimate with the Lemat shotgun shell. You need to zoom in to make it any useable but if u do at the range it's gonna be used, then u have a ridiculous FOV and can't see sh*t anymore if he jumps around you. I've had some luck with it but pretty much only when turning corners or opening doors and still... If he isn't as close as u expect, ur dead by the time u back off or switch back to regular ammo.
Double the guns, double the fun!!
"serious"ly?
It would be an interesting comparison of the accuracy of dual wielding vs fanning
Yes very true. Personally I've always had a good time using either the Pax or Le Mat with fanning, the Uppercut just has too much kick! Can't wait to try the Le Mat in dual shotgun mode. But what to use for my second weapon? Tough choice.
Plz do a fanning vs DW vid. I love ur vids btw
@@davemurray7505 Use Quartermaster, then you can have Dual LeMats + Lever action rifle for precision.
Perhaps also add Ambidextrous, and Levering, then you'd have a true jack-of-all-trades build.
You can pew pew with dual pistols like a true cowboy, you can use shotgun-mode for close range encounters, you can reload your duals relatively fast, you can use your leve action rifle for precision shots should you need to shoot from range, and should someone surprise you whilst you're shooting from range, you can lever them to death without having to waste seconds swapping to your dual pistols. :3
Good for every situation you could possibly think of. xD
Obviously 4FS hasn't ascended to the godhood that Mosquito Gang is at. Mosquito Gang reigns supreme.
Yeah I really can't stand the nagant silencer
Ahh a man of Culture 🦟🦟
An important bit of dual wielding is that it's very good for new players. It relatively effective with low need for accuracy. You just position and pew pew. No need for super precise aim, lots of ammo so you can make mistakes and let's you learn fighting with low risk.
I found a use for dual-wielding chains. In 3's, I sometimes use dual chains to spam bullets at walls and windows while my teammates are pushing into a building. It makes it so the people inside can't hear anything else and every now and then I get a hit marker and can call that out to my team. The pen damage is totally negligible but the info is important, especially since if I'm attacking somebody hiding in a building, I probably don't have bounty's dark sight for locating enemies. Then once the building is clear I'll take somebodies uppercut from the bodies. I know it's not game-breaking or anything, but it's unexpected and works with surprising (to me) effectiveness.
@Rusty Shackleford yeah lol
I once started with dual combat axes killed two people my friend axing the other then I took their dual chain pistols and clutched a 1 vs three they killed my team.
0:55 I frequently got killed by dual wielding from 30 or even 40 meters plus by headshot, sounds pretty legit
I can be pretty accurate with them around 30 but only when not moving
Yeah I got a 30+ meter headshot on somebody just yesterday with dual pax, while he was jumping... lmao
Want to write it its realy acurate when you got the hang of it.
Just got this game a couple weeks ago - and I absolutely love duel wielding the LeMat
Already loved using fanning pax for the cowboy aesthetic, so dual wielding them was a natural transition. Effective, saves perk points, and looks cooler
I agree with you about Pax being the best. Double dolch was fun to try but to be honest I think dolch precision is better at that point even without getting into price. Crytek did a good job at making this feature balanced and not too powerful.
I'd like to see this updated with the new ammo types please! Conversion would surely now be king with the penatration no longer being an issue with fmj rounds.
The dual Lemats have been a personal favourite of mine. Long range fighting has never been something I like as its too slow and boring and having a scoped weapon is a significant drawback at any other point in time. I often pair dual Lemats with a Mosin Obrez for those medium range targets and have a fun time blasting anyone unfortunate enough to stumble across me into oblivion. Perhaps try this loadout with a good variety of throwables, a team mate who caries a regular mosin for those longer range shots and you will have a nicely balanced team and a very fun time!
I only find it really jarring that ambidex does not work for the shotgun part of the lemats.
Thank you for always doing the comparisons. They are so helpful!
Glad you like them!
Always the best music choices
Dual wielding is pure fun and can be damn effective in compounds fights.
I am in love with the Conversion Pair
Accurate (really useful avoiding that rng)
Somewhat fast
Spammable
And best of all never ran out of bullet lol
I consistently 2 shot with it, nice to see other people know how good it is
Plus, it is also really cheap. They are my favorite dual wield, followed by the pax.
Dual chain? Did I hear someone wanted suppressive fire!
That Derringer kill was cheeky. Great video.
I personally enjoy the conversion, pax, and lemat pistols. I also enjoy taking quartermaster so i can make the dual wielding pistols fit into any build
That is the only way
Fun thing to do is take double uppercuts, empty them in the first compound and don’t reload them, leave them empty and just make sure you’re running a avtomat and you’ll have 30 rounds in your pocket while your avto is fully loaded. 45 rounds of auto heavy rounds. Me and my two buddy’s do this and it’s pretty hard to lose
I was just finish typing this comment when I got to the part in your video where you brought up the extra ammo xD
Keep up the good work! Love your vids
Thanks, will do!
Just started with hunt and used dual wielding alot with pretty good success the increased ammo count saved me alot in close quarters combat.
Honestly love it.
Double Conversions and Nagants are bloody strong in close quarters, the Pax is ludicrously good even at 20+m (up to 30 I'd say) and it's just *fun* .
I don't care whether they're all viable, it's just fun to run and gun. :D
On the test server, my favorite loadout was a pair of Dolchs and... another pair of Dolchs. 4 dolchs, 0 weaknesses. 80 dolch ammo.
The perfect build.
We've killed a guy with 4 Dolch 2 days ago and I'm not even sure if he got to fire more than 5 bullets. 2 is plenty enough and u will die way before u empty those 2 guns anyway so having another 1500$ pair is a pure waste IMO. Rather get a 1250$ Avtomat at that point.
I've done much more kills dual Uppercut than Dual Dolch so far.
Great breakdown, thanks dude
No problem!
Double pax and a springfield compact are the best combo i used give 5 to 3 kills each match.
Nice video as always, I am currently absolutely addicted to the Conversion pair, it's way too good! If my mates got some long range weapons, I even pair it up with a Shotgun like the Specter, ultimate close range loadout!
personally i like the lemat just because of some of the stuff i've done with it
Even if its not the best, the feeling of swapping to shotgun mode on 2 letmats as you press w tword a enemy is worth it
I don't remember how long ago custom ammo came out, but I actually love using the dual chain pistols. Slap FMJ rounds on those and it turns them into a never-ending wall banging monster.
Ascendance; great, informative video as always brother.
I started using the dual conversions, they're pretty reliable. I got 5 kills with them alone in a trios game. One of the best matches I've ever had.
Another banger, thank you and cheers.
Much appreciated!
The biggest thing you missed is that dual chain pistols can absolutely melt bosses. You can even stunlock the assassin for half its health.
It's a valid point but a Stamina Shot or a Sticky Bomb would do the job as well and let you free to focus your weapon loadout in the PvP.
Only an idiot would shoot bosses with guns though.
Another top quality detailed informative vid! Many thanks.
In-depth look at Iron sight calibration and correct use next please. ;D
I had a hearty laugh with food in my mouth when you said the silencer was not silent at the range you'd use it
dual pax with hollowpoint ammo is a beast of a combo
Love your vids! Always quick to the point and with good info! New shotgun vid when?
Cheers! Shotguns will get another look in when we get different ammo types.
There ain't enough room in this town for the both of us
Last two times I use the dual Paxes I got a headshots at quite the range. Favorite dual pair
Great Work overall with all your videos
The double Pax is, in my opinion, the best combo. Very good aim, a fair rate of fire and most of the time, two bullets are enough to kill.
I love your page its the reason I got better at this game
My biggest issue with dual wielding is the inability to go from a 2-2 setup to a 3-1 by dropping a single pistol
*Mosquito Gang theme song starts playing in the background*
Also, my personal, and pretty consistent expirience with Bornheims: "Oh boy, this dude is way too far for me to hit... aaaand there's the headshot"
I've used both Mosin/Uppercut daul and the shorty Springfield/conversion DW and i tend riggidy wreck everything at every range except your not so typical extra long ranges or barrel touching your face ranges.
Imo the officers are a more reliable replacement for the Romero handcannon as you can still get kills past the 6-8 meter range at the cost of time to kill. It's just about getting out more shots rather than closing distance
i have had some amazing experience with the LeMatt x2 shots, considering you can fire alot, then rush for the shotgun kill
i am loving dual wielding and finding it not very rng heavy at all, but i have strict rules with it, 1 being if anything is further than about 10m away, never move when shooting and always crouch. this can be dangerous, but i have esily picked of people form like 30 or 40 m away with 3 shots casue if your still and crouch you can still reliably body shot at that range. but you starts running and not ads in the that range drops to about 5m :P i think dual silencers is a godsend for new players and i like using it on free / lvl 1 hunters. but after you get fanning that is basically just better. provided you dont miss your shots
When are you guys planning on reviewing the pistol carbines?
You know, guns like the Nagant precision, dolch precision, officer carbine...
It isn't that hard tho, Nagant Precision is a good RoF cheap option to carry with a medium shotgun, Dolch Precision absolute badass 2 chest shots kill, 3 from far or only 1 hs, Officer Carbine a remarkable high skill level weapon with twice the RoF of the Windfield making it the most dangerous hs killer in the game.
Ok you became my Fav hunt youtuber when you acknowledged that shot guns are inconsistent.
I think that the dual chain pistols are mostly good for the same reason that the regular chain pistol is really good, you almost never have to reload. Think someone is behind a wall? Spam it. Someone ducks behind some wooden cover? Spam it. Don't have a clear shot? Shoot anyways.
With dual chain pistols, and 34 shots, that gives a lot more potential for taking opportunities that would otherwise leave you with an empty gun.
Karabiner deadeye with duel wield bornhiem extended is OP and one of my favorite builds with quartermaster. I have won several matches with just using duel bornheim extendeds
Update: Pair any sniper with dual LeMat's and you have every range covered with good options for every single range type, making you very versatile in a fight!
LeMat shotgun is bad alone, but dual-wielded is insane - will off someone in a pair burst without issue within about the same range as a romero, albeit a little slower.
Interesting. I personally favor the nagant silencers for dual wielding, so quite different from your ranking ;-) They fire quickly and have almost no recoil. I had definately the most kills with them compared to all other dual wielding options I tried. Usually two hits are enough and because of the good fire rate it's no death penalty if you miss the first or third shot.
I like dual chains because if my teammates need to heal I can unload towards the other hunters and they stay in cover
Chain pistol is bad all around imo, fanning with it is rng, and dualies with it is super inaccurate anything further than like shotgun range. Try dual lemats, dual pax or dual nagants. I've had super effective games with all three
I use dual lemat all the time with a mosin obrez they work wonders at close range. That being said i only really use the shotguns as a last resort or when i know someones camping a corner. Having 18 shots with that rof is really nice as a replacement for something with fanning.
Dual pax and compact Springfield Marksman is fun
Just to throw in my two cents, the dual Lemats are super OP. I've gotten 11 and 7 kill games in the last week with nothing but lemats (maybe one sparks kill). The shotties are great for when in a building or someone runs up with a knife/bomb lance. Second favorite is dual pax (but mostly for the new skin). Dual suppressed nagants are also super mean along with regular nagants.
I think the lemat is on you, It is by far my most successful dual wield with 18 shots and being a double barrel shotgun. I have solo'd multiple 3 mans with it, The shotgun followed by the revolver does great things.
The issue is that if you have duel wielding, you don't need the shotguns and vice versa, and if you need any more than 12 shots like a pax or conversion gives you, then you should by all rights already be dead. The pax just seems to outclass it by so much for only a meager price increase.
The pistols retain the same lethality at same range as their single wield. You just dont have precision aiming. However, i have done almost solely dual wields since starting, and can hit targets fairly reliably at medium distances.
i use duel wield uppercuts because i like it as a cbq weapon for my long range sparks
Loads of free hunters come with dual 'something' these days. For my money, the standard Conversion Pistol is the way to go. It's better than the Romero Handcannon in Reliability and probably on par with the Rival in 1v1 duals. They're very accurate at short ranges with a fantastic fire rate.
The Lamat seems strong on paper but.... isn't. You're right on there.
The ability to wall bang doesn't much matter compared to other dual wield options because the ranges you're dealing with frequently make wall banging not an option.
And while moving seems to decrease accuracy I find this untrue with the conversions, twelve shots means you can run at the enemy and count on your spam and ROF to save you, so while you're technically less accurate on the move, dual wielding actually encourages mobility.
Plus, it's a cheap as hell CQC option that looks badass.
Dual Silencer with poisen is very nice 😁
I feel like the dual chains are an exceptional boss fighting tool, like holy crap, if you have a teammate who has them aswell you can keep constant dmg on the boss for a considerable amount of time, sure the lack in accuracy has screwed me over when fighting hunters but i can aslo say they have done very well for me when in fights. i guess i can say im just a little lucky with em but man i love the chain pistols to death.
Alright I'll be honest, I love Double Lemat. As you said, it seems like a great CQC pistol pair, and it is assuming you get used to how it functions. I've wiped teams with those beauties in CQC with almost no effort. I will say that for the primary fire, the Pax is still better. But when accounting for the shotguns on the Lemat, it just gives you some of the greatest versatility to accompany a long rifle.
I’d love to know where the Scottfield /and Spitfire are on this list
My experience with Dual wielding,
Trios that charge a solo player all at once who's dual wielding get wiped. I was running dual dualies in this play through. Dual Nagant Officers Brawlers and dual silenced nagant's for AI. Ammo pool for compact is ridiculously huge. Wiped 2 teams when I was solo playing mainly bc they made the same mistake.
Trios that play the distance and get good angles can wipe solo players who play dualies.
I would like to see a video made in this style (crosshair sizes, rpm, etc.) for Fanning in 2021
To me, duel wielding pistols will never be better guns then a sawed off shotgun. You fight at the same ranges so why take a weapon that has even more rng attached to it? However, they have one use as a tool that is unmatched in any other weapon, suppression. Very few people want to stick their head out to risk getting domed by the pistol rng, so teams can use duel wielding to abuse people's positioning. It's not the attended use, and the same effect can be mildly achieved with the born and dolch pistols, but this is cheaper in most cases and gives more reserve ammo for your main gun.
It's personal preference, I've gotten tons of kills with dualies and they have a further effective range than the shotguns.
You can shoot two lemat shells at once by firing immediately after sprinting.
10:48 wtf are you aiming at?
9:44 stealth weapons arent just about being quiet for the person youre shooting at, could very well save your life if a different team is in the next compound & youve stumbled across someone, who hasnt detected you or made noise yet. Theyre also plenty accurate to eliminate hives in your immediate path, startle crows, horses, dogs, & hellhounds from afar, hit barrels to misdirect or buy time, & kite AI into or away from an area.
Think the chain pistols are the least sensible outside of the dolch. & the sparks pistol now i guess
I probably will use the cheapest load out set and see. But I would have loved to see the lemats do more.
Nagant officer dual weild just melts opponents in close range. Trick is getting targets in that range.
Apparently the weapon I perform better with is the DW pistol, and apparently the silenced nagant for what I have used yet. Is it really not silenced at all? I mean... Is it not worth it?
I have massive successes with the silence ones
Pax is my bae. Love my tiny pop gun.
Need to know the song playing around 2 min pls
So far my experience is that SLOWER rpm dual wielding guns are BETTER cause it gives you more time to aim between the shots compare to faster rpm such as Bornheim, Dolch, Officer where you just spam instead of aiming then it's all about luck.
I've had much more kills from DW the Uppercut than Dolch, for much less $. Many time I'd double tap someone close or mid-range with the first 2 uppercut bullets and did get some surprisingly far kills with it, plus that penetration through fences or doors at close range. It's mostly good with a long ammo rifle such as Martiny Riposte or Mosin.
However without Quartermaster and Ambidextrous, I think it's a clear disadvantage if you can't quick-swap anymore, or need to use a cheap ass Obrez with extreme sway. I know my Romeo Handcannon isn't gonna be as fun but more reliable up close.
Something IMPORTANT that surprisingly 4FS you forgot to mention is the weapon switching speed is clearly slower than single pistol, and that is something that can get you killed and make the "Spark to Pistol" type of combos much harder to do effectively. Otherwise awesome video, I watch every single of them! :)
My experience with Dual Wielding:
Enemy hunter shoots twice with dual Caldwel Conversion and hits me twice, killing me with firing just two shots. Range was over 40m
I shoot and shoot and shoot, and even though the enemy is inside the crosshairs I just keep missing and dying. Range 5m
This happened twice.
FML
I got 1 shot(the first shot) headshot , by dual Conversions at 67m. Deflating.
I love how he gives lemat's a chance and not say it's a Waste of the player's time and money just wish the chin revolvers how sometimes to them like better hip fire
but the spread for the lematt's shotgun is the same with duel wielding yes?
I see Neenoh constantly using dual Silencers and just shedding with them. It seems the fire rate is able to mess people up. Also it gets a perk for night time in no muzzle flash.
I think you would benefit greatly from not always "ads" (in quotes because you can't actually aim) with duel wielding while you have someone rushing you or standing only a few feet away. For example, in the LeMat clip you probably would have hit those shots if you hadn't been aiming or could have reacted better when the person who you died from rushed you.
Were the dual silencers buffed since this video? They seem incredibly accurate when I've used them. Maybe that's just luck though
You implied dual wield pistols are more precise when zooming in. Did you test this? I thought its only a zoom...
If It tightens crosshair, tightens accuracy.
What about the scottfield?
Dueling the pax is super good. Lots of ammo and a hunter killer in close combat.
How do you equip dual wield weapons in loadouts (am on ps4). Thank you in advance
You'll have to wait until update 1.4.1 drops on console.
Does anyone know how to equip duel wielding
Just won vs 4 hunters because of dual wielding
I will say, even if dual wielding isn't statistically better, nothing infuriates me more than a guy being able to blindly spray 30 shots in my direction and then magically hit a headshot with one of them purely from bullet spread/recoil knocking their crosshair perfectly into the right spot.
You didn’t cover dual derringers
When will dual wielding come to ps4??
Why is the nagant so bad in comparison to the others when it’s “handling” stat is better than the caldwell conversions?
The handling stat is pretty meaningless, it is supposed to combine things like ADS speed, sway, switch speeds, hipfire accuracy, but we have no idea how these stats actually combine together or how they are weighted.
played some dual wield. i think it has some merits. good alternative to shotguns on close range but shotguns do the job most of the time better. and you feel like a gunslinger bad ass. got killed with some 50m headshots on the first shot against dualwield. wich is ... questionable. some people have just shitloads of luck.
About the LeMat.
I strongly suspect the reason your close range accuracy with the compact fire is because the LeMat is in fact, the most accurate pistols when used in dual wield. :P
You overestimate the spread, and as such, your crosshair is never centered on the target, therefore, you always miss. xD
Just go into training mode, with duel LeMat, and practice headshotting zombies by centering your crosshair properly, you'll quickly find out just how absurdly accurate it is.
The shotgun mode is what you use for close range... You don't use both modes for close range, that's not how you use a LeMat, and it's certainly not how you use Dual LeMats either. :P
Although the LeMat is more accurate than the nagant officer or chain pistol, it is still one of the least accurate dual wield pistols, on par with the uppercut. The basic conversion and pax are certainly the best in terms in accuracy, and I can feel that they perform much better at any range.
@@4FSGaming You clearly did not understand what i said.
tl;dr
if you use it, you hit nothing
if enemy uses it he oneshots you from 40m away every time
