The Ocarina of Time video is my mind's image of how it looked when I played it back in the day. It's crazy what our imaginations can conjure from those old blocky graphics.
And how many times do we have to go up and down this roller coaster? I guarantee you none of them will ever look like that when they actually release. It’s like Watchdogs never happened here lol 😂
What people need to understand is one person is creating things like the Skyrim recreation.. that is what UE5 has done better than anything Gave single devs the tools to really ramp it up
does anyone feel like it's strange we still don't have convincing cloth physics yet? and i'm not talking flowy stuff like capes, i'm talking shirts/pants/jackets/etc. i know it's complex, but i feel like we're entering a new era of uncanny valley where characters' faces look like incredibly realistic human beings stuck on a plastic action figure's body, with super stiff, static clothing and oftentimes animations that aren't quite up to snuff either. i actually find it super distracting. most games don't need to even think about that IMO, but for the ones shooting for hypperrealism i think it's odd-looking
I've thought about a modern Superman game, and how instead of a typical RPG progression system where you get stronger, your enemies get stronger so Clark needs more of his powers so that's how you get more abilities
I'd love to see Bloodrayne, Castlevania, Soul Reaver, The Matrix (game) Final Fantasy 7/8 etc brought to HD they were some of my favorite games back in the day. Absolutely incredible job from all creators who gave new life to phenomenal games of their time. I'd love to be a part of any future projects anyone is working on. 😎👍 Keep up the badass job!!!
Well there is a soul reaver legacy of kain 1 and 2 remake coming. Believe it was in the most recent ps showcase, tho i haven't watched it myself yet so got no idea if i looks decent.
An NFS Most Wanted 2005 and Underground 2 official remake is long overdue. How could EA not see the potential in these? Sure, it's not gonna hit their "modern" target audience, I mean, just look at Unbound. Heat and the 2015 NFS were still kinda decent if it weren't for the terrible handling and crappy music, but Unbound, while graphics looks great, it's really just mediocre in every other aspect.
Silent Hill 2 Remake is the most terrifying game I've ever played. I thought it was pretty neat graphically but nothing too special until I got to the Blue Creek Appartments.
Now if there wasn't the massive stuttering from shadders constantly compiling and DX12. Seriously, you know what makes the Silent Hill 2 remake run decently? Reverting to DX11.
Your refusal to include game names in timestamps isn't just inconvenient-it's a disservice to your audience. Prioritizing clicks over clarity shows greed, and that kind of selfishness won't go unnoticed.
I remember one short game that I played which would be nice as a remake, somebody actually made it but it is also not playable…..only like videos 😢 it is called Zanzarah hidden portal, it was nice to see that somebody put effort is those type of things
I'm currently playing _Stuntman: Ignition!_ (again) and _Burnout Revenge_ . Both would look incredible with Unreal. Also playing _NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered_ (🎵'I got the gringo under my car!'🎵) and it's great.
UE5 really needs to fix the PC stutter issues. I have a gaming PC, but most of the time prefer to buy my games on PS5 since they tend to run better on console.
yeah, the bad thing about Unreal Engine is that if you make a game with it, you have it on their store first then Steam. but other than that cool stuff
That's not true. Unreal Engine has no such requirement. Many Unreal games release exclusively on Steam. Epic has a "First Run" program where developers can retain 100% of the revenue they earn if they release on Epic Store exclusively for 6 months (no platform revenue share, no engine royalties for 6 months) , after which they can release on other platforms. But this is completely optional.
@@Matt-md5yt Not really. The cost of the engine keeps going down. A few years ago, they made it free for anyone making under $1 mil/yr. They just recently reduced the engine royalty from 5% to 3.5% if your game is on Epic Store (no exclusivity requirement, game only has to be on the store. This means that you keep more of your revenue even if most of your sales come from Steam). Also, their store literally takes 18% less of a cut out of the developer's revenue than Steam.
I DO like the use of Unreal with stylized scenes. I think for mechanical type games (racing, etc.) ware great but for most FPS or RPG games I really don’t want to see photorealistic characters. Just my opinion.
Anyone else feel like the move to hyper realistic graphics is causing games to look uglier? I’m probably just getting older and becoming jaded about games, but none of this looks all that good to me.

Well they're demos *based* on actual games.
One fan made on the web is GTA San Andreas, would have loved a proper remake of that game and the others that was in defenitive edition.
I want Banjo Kazooie in Unreal Engine 5
That Matrix demo is still the only U5 on consoles that made my jaw drop but it still keeps the "good ol'" U4 frame stutter. 😅 Thanks Jake and GR crew!
I was so hyped for this gen when that came out and so far it’s been the most disappointing from a technology standpoint
Elder scrolls 6 in unreal 5 would be phenomenal, but BGS wouldn't do that. They love their Frankenstein creation engine :(
It's total dogshit too
Didn’t Bethesda already say they’re making ES6 in Unreal 5? Yeah, I believe they did. Starfield is the last game to use the Creation Engine.
That won't save the game from Emil's unforgivably bad writing.
They did this guy obviously didn't here
@@k29king1I love spreading misinformation
An Attack on Titan open world Survival Horror would be sooo fucking dope!!
You are so right 😮

In lore you are not even allowed to go in and out of the wall at will.

Need metal gear 4 remake with the online mode back and running. Best online game till this day

Graphics look good, but every game runs like craps lmao
You forgot Tomb Raider remake by Ricobas which was breathtaking.
You forgot about us 😉
your Final Fantasy IX remake look dope
Not only will the game not look anything like it did in the trailer, but it will also run like trash😂😂

I really loved Immortals Fenix Rising! Wish they would have made a sequel to it.
bro that game was soooo much fun before i beat the game i had to collect the rest of the stuff i missed
The sequel was cancelled. Apparently it was sort of going to be like Wind Waker, which makes me really sad
I used to have so much fun flying around as Superman on xbox
The most immersive games are the ones that are so well optimized that it just feels like another world and not a glitchy mess of good graphics.
I love you Gameranx, now please let me out from under the sofa I cannot breathe down here
Hey Jake! Love your videos, bro! You and Falcon keep up the good work! 👍
Glad you like them!
Immortals was great, especially if you enjoyed the comedy.
Nice. There is also "Project Grunt", where the creator remade a bunch of places from World of Warcraft in Unreal Engine 5. It's pretty neat.
6:40 The Elden Of Zelda : Rings of the Wild
"Remember Immortals: Fenyx Rising? Kind of like that. Nobody played that" Ugh, Jake, I know! An underrated game. Would have loved a sequel or two

Immortals: Fenyx Rising cathing a stray out of nowhere lmao...
NFSU2 was an all time game this would be my absolute favourite if they did this
hi jake
Hey
I absolutely loved Need For Speed Most Wanted. It was a brilliant game, great story, great gameplay loop. Just fantastic all round.
Simpson's hit and run was so much fun 👌 Id love a remake 🙏
Dark Souls 2 baby! ❤

Am gonna be trying to remake Pokèmon XD Gale of Darkness and it's sequel 😊
monkie family waddup
Need for speed remake looks awesome

This is the next generation engine. We won't see its full potential until new consoles are released.
There was a Final Fantasy IX UE5 project that looked pretty cool as well. Memoria i think, not sure what happened since though.
If UE5 is good then why HELLBLADE 2 looks weird

I played Immortals Fenyx Rising. It was awesome. Those that haven’t played it should definitely give it a chance.
Imagine what Bethesda could do if they switched to Unreal Engine 5!
(Falcon watches Superman video) “Look at what they need to mimic a fraction of my power.”
I'm so excited to see a new subnautica world in UE5!
Where's Final Fantasy IX: Memoria Project? It's visually the best UE5 fan remake out there
Bethesda should hire this leo torres guy for making next TES game
There's no way Bethesda can follow up to what Leo Torres has made with TES6

Nintendo really needs to take notes on how great their games would look with a powerful system
Gameranx and Lunch!
I would love to see a Need for Speed Pro Street remake.

I wanna see the original Fable on Unreal Engine 5 like Oakvale.

Dino Crisis remake? This I gotta see.
