God’s ways will not always reconcile with men’s ideas. We should never question his reasoning. Women are incredibly competent at multitasking no doubt. And I believe, on average, they are much more intelligent than men. They certainly develop earlier. Good explanation.

I don’t like or appreciate or feel very validated by these kind of scriptures, but it is what it is. Just like in the secular world, even in the Word we are made to feel less than and inferior for some reason. I pray to understand one day. In my home, sadly my mistake, my husband is a very proud Atheist, who always mocks me at every turn, and I am the spiritual leader then of the household and of teaching my teen sons as well as I can.

I dont think its to be "inferior". In the same book Paul explains that Man AND WOMEN can prophesy AND speak in toungues so long as there is an interpreter. In church however it is one of Gods most holy places. You think God thought less or valued less of Eve? Of course not. He cursed Adam just like he cursed Eve. We have the same value you are no more less than I. Obviously theres lots of passages of women being submissive to men which you can view as "oh that means im less" or you can see not only have you submitted, the MAN has also submittef his life to God. He has also said I submit. In a church setting even in the Old Testament the Tabernacle was such a holy place you can only walk in certain places at certain times during certain sacrifices. Its so much proper order. Why would a church be different? Of course a woman can technically "speak" but you got to get back 2,000 years ago women had no education like men or jobs like men, they would challenge the preacher or other citizens and cause a stir or cause people to ramble on not due to their intent but due to ignorance not of their fault. Imo it makes sense and its just another rule to ensure a proper church setting. Men are built different than women, we have a protective nature to want to protect them, imo they want to have someone to protect them, its like yin and yang. The perfect match. Of both wanted to be protectors it would cause conflict. But it is due to this protector aspect that in return women should be submissive. No that does not mean a man can tell you to do anything and you have to listen. It means LISTEN to what he says and take it into consideration and if possible help him. For he has given his life to you and protects you. God also had very strict punishment for men who abused this in the Old Testament. Its a balance and True love of christ and in eachother can create perfect harmony. Its not a battle with eachother its just love.
Anyways I hope your husband can find the light one day you should show him Ray Comfort hes great at evalngelism.

That’s your opinion, god made it this way. Woman was taken from the man, not man from the woman. Being different in role does not make you less than. This is generally price and disobedience in woman that are not content with how god made them to be. Who tells the potter that they made the pot wrong.

I attend services at a mennonite church. The women sing but that's it until services end. Then they chat with each other, but not with any men. They have almost a complete separation of men from women. I eat supper with different families on Sunday. Which I think is what all congregations should do. What I have a problem with is that even when visiting in their homes, the women stay separate from the men. They do not even greet male visitors in most homes. In many of their homes the men eat separately when they have visitors. even after attending there for 2 years, it seems like the atmosphere when it comes to social visiting is somewhat inhospitable. It just seems too extreme, or formal, to the point of unfriendlyness. I do know that with their own extended families, the men and the women do socialize. And i learned that in most mennonite churches, almost everyone in the congregation is blood kin. So those 2 or 3 that are not blood relatives are treated differently from the rest of the church. Scripture says we are brothers and sisters in Christ. And that older men should be treated like fathers, and older women like mothers, etc.
    But they really are not.
So why do I go there? Because they are still a church that follows closest to scripture.

Well, even if you're right circumstances should not be judged by others. After many years of abuse I finally left. In all that time he never once initiated any religious instructions. Matter of fact if the boy gave me back talk & or sass; the "father' further dished out instructions to keep it up. Not everyone will accept squeezing into the cookie cutter mold. Some women have to be stronger than strong, or you simply won't survive.

I don't think this is correct. 1 COR 14 is about keeping order in a congregation. Nobody should be busy talking, when someone else is speaking. Paul was speaking about order. "Church" is a term referring to the body of Christ- not a building. It also can refer to any place where Christians happen to congregate- which can be anywhere. When Christians congregate and someone teaches(prophesy), there must be order. The subject within 1 COR 14 was about keeping order, and all people should keep silent and speak in an orderly fashion- both men or women.
1Co 14:30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.
1Co 14:31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
1Co 14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
1Co 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
1Co 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
1Co 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1Co 14:36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
1Co 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
1Co 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
1Co 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
1Co 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

I agree. In 1 Corinthians 11, where Paul is referring to women covering their heads, it is in regards to them praying and prophesying in the church. So, quite contradictory to this video. Women are not supposed to be in a teaching position within these gatherings, which is different. And this is also discouraging women from studying the Word or having a discussion about it. We are all one in Christ. He also used a woman to tell the Samaritans that He had arrived...

What do you do if a woman is the preacher at your loved church and loved people? Pretend she is a teacher like Esther? Or wait until they change to another preacher. Don't want to jump from church to church. And I love the people they are good !Christians!! Just wish that the leaders stop changing what the bible tells us to do. Only because they want to please everybody.

For the women to be silent was a commad from Paul to the church of Corinth. These folks were gentiles and the temple of Aphrodite was there and women were held to a higher esteem than men. Let me be frank, the Greeks worshipped the vagina and sexual pleasures. It was a total debauchery. The women of Corinth once they became Christians since they were used to be held to a higher esteem. They thought they could used their power and influence in the church. Including their sensuality. Paul ordered them to be silent because of how they were stepping to a position of authority that they had no business in. This was a command only for this church. Women could in any other church teach and preach and exercise gifts of The Spirit. But not in Corinth.

Men are no better than women but as God looks at it a man is charged with being head of the household. For those who don't like it then take it up with God.Im sure He will have no problem explaining it to you.My ex wife's friend was a staunch feminist who took nothing from a man which explained why she was single.Women are strong in character and spirit but scripture says one of the two has to be head of the family.

What a concept -- the Bible means what is written instead of all the idols people erect & twist the Word to fit. Much of this Word-twisting can be seen in the comments to this video. There are a couple of points in this video where I disagree. The "church" is not a building or a gathering, so the exceptions given are man-made. 2nd, those who take this very unpopular stand often go far afield making excuses for God. The reasons are clear: 1 Cor 14:35; 1 Cor 11:8-10; 1 Tim 2:13-15.

Amen brother, people need to wake up, and realize that church is not something you "go to", but rather who we (the bride of Christ) are! It is truly sad, that so much man-made and man-centered ideology has been allowed to infect, like a spreading cancer, the way so many approach the Word of God. We need to leave our presuppositions behind and be led by the Holy Spirit and what the Bible says, not man.

    Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
God was manifest in the flesh; 1 timothy 3:16 KJV... which is the bride, the Lamb's wife, and the Church of God, and it was God speaking through the wife, and doing all His work, while all along, the wife remained silent within the church, which is the body of Christ, namely God, our only Lord and Saviour Amen.
    1 Corinthians 14:34-35 (KJV)
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
    John 14:10 KJV
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
    1 Timothy 3:1:16 (KJV)
1 This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
    2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
    3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
    4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
    8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

  • @Coleconstructionandmaintenance

So I definitely agree but I can’t help but think that it’s pathetic that men take their hands off the wheel...I dunno if it’s how I was raised but man I just can’t help think that men that do let go and don’t try their best is just pathetic, just cause they have a strong woman. Mm so I went to a women’s Bible study, i hate women’s bible studies cause their so emotional and not bible focused but it was so apparent to me that these women expected nothing out of their husbands. They just knew they need to be respectful and such and we’re tying hard to do that but not expecting anything out of their husbands ...like any help but we can’t be what we need to if our husband doesn’t support us too, doesn’t strengthen us to be able to do what we need to or want to even...so I don’t get why men wouldn’t feel like filling that need when they see it...I guess it’s kind like you just said, women fill the vacuum and men don’t but I think that’s kind bull crap. I guess that’s why they or one area they need the Lords help to grow in. But it still seem ridiculous that we women would step up to fill a need we see but a man that loves his wife and kids wouldn’t fill that need when he sees it... 🤔🧐

St. Paul's Divinely given instructions for ALL women in all centuries till the Lord Returns is as follows.
"God is not a God of disorder but of peace.
As in all the congregations of the saints, 34 women should remain silent
in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in
submission, as the Law says. 35 If they want to enquire about something,
they should ask their own husbands at home; for **it is disgraceful**
for a woman to speak in the church.
36 Did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached?
37 If anybody thinks he is a prophet or spiritually gifted, let him
acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord's command. 38 If
he ignores this, he himself will be ignored."
    1 Corinthians 14:33-38 (ANIV)
    Thus
it is the Lord's own personal command that women must be silent in the
church assemblies, and stop shaming themselves by refusing to do so, and
those who are truly "spiritually gifted" will be the FIRST to agree and
    to acknowledge the same.
And finally: "11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."
    1 Timothy 2:10-14 (KJV)
The true, humble, and those of a "Quiet spirit" authentic "Daughters of
Sarah" will eagerly obey, sadly the daughters of the Adversary "The Devil and his angels" will
    adamantly refuse.

4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

I don't understand why it's difficult to understand the roll of a nurturing woman and a strong head of household . both could be damaged by playing the opposite roll . A femenate man or a tough woman could leave the child without proper guidance in love or security . As is with eating pork , segested to live a full and healthy , reproductive life . Yes its possible to swap rolls but it is not healthy to do so in the full circle of life . It however is not a comandment. Please excuse my spelling . luv y'all .

They didn't have churches like we do now, for one. The early Christian Church came to fruition in Antioch. So how could this passage apply to the first christian church? Isn't this from old testament. Didn't Jesus come to fulfill a new covenant with God. Or am I waked out. I agree and disagree. Jajaja I love being a house marm. But... I also can build a house.

Does the Bible say that we will sing songs that the angels can not sing. If so where is it?

Rev.14 says they sing a song that no man could learn but the 144 thousand. That's all I can think of. Hope this helps.

God loves us all, regardless of color, status or gender. If you are told to shut your mouth because of your gender, it comes from a man, not our Lord. If you have something important that will be of benefit, speak up. If another has something to say of benefit, listen and be quiet.

He seems rather uncomfortable answering this question. Simply put men are to rule and the women to support the man thats pretty much it. They are not higher than a man they are not above them men are the ones that are supposed to make law and to enforce it and for women to support us.

Good job sir, but the question was asked by a woman! What happened to the part about " if a woman is to learn anything, let her ask her husband at home?" Was it your wife asking the question? Or do you teach things to other men's wives?

I would say it goes back to the image of God being a man. Man was 1st and then woman. Much like Christ came to the Jews 1st and then the gentiles.
    Just another opinion.

When the bible refers to that it is Paul's letter to the church.. Paul was upset with the current status and he started to hand out order... nonsense that women cant preach....So if a women preaches to a man in church and he comes to the Lord because of something that a women says then the guys dies after that God will say "your not saved because it occurred when a women preached to you ?"...nonsense

Know the difference between speaking and talking and you will not question the word of God. How do you disagree with the Bible and agree with your church teachings and they're man-made churches?

A woman can prophesied a woman can teach a woman can preach you have to look at the spirit, the woman Has to be called to do, there are all kinds of prophetess in the Bible,

None of what you said is true like you said. If you don’t believe the word and what Christ revealed to Paul for us gentiles then that’s your prerogative. Michael Pearl believes the kjv and doesn’t import his desires into it, but take it as it’s written

A woman can be a prophet but prophesying is not teaching. What God does not want is a woman to be a speaker in a church.

A true Christian is obedient to the scripture. You do not need to ask why God has said it and after all he has explained why.

Thank you for this biblical exposition but it is incorrect. I would encourage you to study a bit more before you make a public video that is distributed to a mass group of individuals. Thank you for your ministry and dedication to growing others in the Lords Word.
