I’m not sure why many people think that emotions and logic are completely separate. You’re allowed to feel normal human emotions while still choosing a logical path, that doesn’t make you weaker. I also don’t think it’s particularly healthy when men use only logic and ignore their God given emotions. I’ve seen the fallout of that many times...

Lauren right, but being emotional means that you prioritize emotion over reason.

Salvador kkk No, not necessarily. We can use logic as well.

Salvador kkk It’s all about learning to master emotions so that they have the right impact on our decision making.

Lauren. Cmon, logic is way more important than emotions. The heart is deceitfully wicked. We need to follow God’s commandments with logic and steadfast firmness, not by impulse and irrational feelings.

I think we're made that way. It's all facets of God's image.

I have a huge dent in my dishwasher from my teenage son. Girls are not the only emotional ones.

Humans in general are rational and emotional beings. But I’m pretty sure it is self evident that men TEND to err towards rationality and women toward emotion. I’m not saying that man-100% rational and woman-100% emotional.
I think men and women sit somewhere in the middle with a small skew toward one. But then again I’ve never liked generalities...and like mr piper said both qualities are absolutely valuable either way.

Michael Gonzales yes I agree that humans are rational and emotional beings. I also agree that men are not more rational than woman. And same applies with the vice versa. Humans are emotional creatures

Glory to God for making women different than men by nature, that we may celibrate and appreciate our differences! I bind one to desire men to be sensitive and live in good understanding with one's wife at all times while binding to hell every lack of desire for men to be sensitive and live in good understanding with one's wife at all times in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone man lacking desire to be sensitive and live in good understanding with one's wife in marriage and one's marriage with me specifically, in accordance with this word and 1 peter 3:7, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

Is that why men beat each other up (or even worse) by silly words?

Great points. As a man with two older Sisters, a Wife and a Daughter, but being quite headstrong...I constantly feel frustrated and even emasculated in today’s society as it seems so “unacceptable” to even voice that we are somehow different!!
To me it’s OBVIOUS that we are different, and I’ve even had Sisters tell me years ago that they wrestled with their own “drive to be headstrong & independent to the point of feeling NO NEED to have a Man, to face society’s expectation that if you were a career killing woman... you shouldn’t also want to feel ‘protected’, ‘provided for’ etc by a Man?? When really that’s what they longed for”... is it just me, or is that messed up??
    .
Just seems a bit crazy to me. Both can be great, both beautiful... that’s it 🤩😀
Let’s enjoy each other’s unique value!!

no indication of any created order of man leading all that was after the fall as part of a curse on Eve for her sin. Adam saw her eat and not die....but they and all died before 1,000 years old, and one day is 1,000 years.

Great point! And in general differences make the world more interesting. Imagine every one being the same. I know women, who are more "logical" than men, and they are completed with their husbands, who are more "emotional" and of course the other way around. It's all about finding a person who completes you and you them.

Women always tend towards emotions, but the ones that don't have a masculine spirit on them.

@@categories5066 following your logic, Christ wasn’t a true man if He held positive “feminine” traits as well. He is empathetic. He wept. Even if there’s a primary masculine sense there.
Taken further that would contradict Paul’s command for all of us to be Christlike. Are women not to emulate Christ in everything because that would make them masculine? Are men not to emulate Christ in everything else they be feminine?
The Bible doesn’t seem to prescribe two emotional categories for the sexes. There are general masculine and feminine traits expressed. But you’d be hard pressed to find a verse that says “men, never be feminine. Women, never be masculine”. Not to mention Paul tells all believers to “act like men” in their strength of faith. Are women to disobey this command?
