Good morning. I am really glad you posted this. Because this is a major issue I had with many women in my prior church. I had been going to this church for a few years and there were a few things that weren't quite right when it came to some differences in what the Bible said and what many of the women and men (but mostly women), believed. And one day over an online discussion on a women's forum for the church, one of the women of the church had posted something about a friend of hers who was a preacher in a large Mega church. And so I politely just warned her that it is not biblical for women to be leading churches, to be shepherds. And that women have many wonderful roles that God has given us but leading churches are not one of them Within a few moments I was then attacked verbally online. And the subject of Deborah was brought up. And it was amazing to me that most of these women used only Deborah as the excuse as to why women have the right to be pastors and Shepherds of churches. But what most Disturbed me about the whole argument, was that out of all of these women and all of their( let's just say nastiness ) towards me backing up the Bible, while they wanted to back up this one incident with deborah, not one woman who actually agreed with the Bible and said that women should not be preachers, not one of them came to my defense. Not one of them came to the Bible's defense. They all decided to message me privately and tell me that what I was saying was correct and just to ignore these other women. Then when I got back to church the following Sunday. I was treated like a leper. Out of the 15 or 20 women that usually greeted me and my daughter with open arms and happiness, these women had decided to " shun me". To literally have nothing to do with me. And from then on out the church has taken a very deep roller coaster ride downhill. I tried on many occasions to bring the subject matter up again and said that it's probably something that we should discuss but that we should also discuss it with a man, and the Elders of the church who are men, but no one seemed to be interested in this and all of the men just flat out bowed out and remained silent. They seem to just stay out of the argument and let the women take over which was very daunting to me. Shortly after this the pastor of the church moved away, and another Pastor was put in his place who I had an extremely bad feeling about but I tried to give him a shot at taking care of the church. But every time I would listen to him preach nothing came out of his mouth that the church needed to hear. And he didn't feel that he needed to get into the squabble or even bring up anything from the Bible to prove that women are not supposed to be preaching in a church. And then shortly after that I discovered that his wife also went to Bible school and she was all for women preaching as Pastors in the church. So I decided to leave the church because God kept pulling me away from it even though I was a little heartbroken because the area that I live in in the United States is literally the least Christian state in the entire United states, and it is unbelievably difficult to find a church. I've even driven over an hour and a half away to other churches which I can no longer do because my car is so old. But I did keep in touch with one member of the church and found out that the preacher that replaced our old pastor, ended up being a predator. And a predator of young women and some believe a predator of small children....possibly even his own kids. So he was dismissed from the church and I'm not exactly sure if he was transferred or if he was dismissed from the churches all together or what? Then like Domino's, strong leaders of the church began to fall off. And some have moved away and just don't go to the church anymore. And it was just very disheartening. I'm not saying because of that argument that that was the reason why God began to fold the church, but I am saying that along with that and many other things that they misconstrued about the Bible, God was attempting to show them the error of their ways and they flat out would not listen. And it was very shocking to see that the men of the church refused to stand up and say anything. And they just let the women take over. So now I am still on the hunt and praying to God that he show me where I'm supposed to go because I am now doing Church by myself with my young daughter and I really don't have any options anymore. So I guess my whole point to this is, what you are saying is absolutely correct. And it amazes me that so many churches in my area as well as other areas, tend to just give people what they want instead of asking God what he wants. And it is in my opinion its one of the biggest reasons why the churches are so weak today. And why there is so much negativity and false Doctrine and falling away. Because we simply don't have good Shepherds to lead the churches anymore because they're still allowing the flock to lead everything. I hope you and your family have a blessed day. Praise Jesus!

Another clip today with the same subject. I love this brother, generaly I do agree with him except few small details . Prophesying is not predicting future. It is speaking from God to people. It can be about past, about today and about future. Of course it is only from Holly Spirit. Next thing is that teaching by woman is something different than prophesying. God can put some message in sisters too. This is not up to us but God's choice. This is a matter of certain moment. Remember that in God's eyes in new creature is no man or woman. But in this old world in old creature we are still limited in our souls and under old rules. Like Mike and all scientists say: woman are different from man in many aspects and nobody can change it. But shortly, they should not lead in church and should not teach in church. But according to prophesying I am not so restricted as Mike. I Cor 11;5 says clearly. And by the way if prophesying wold be about predicting future then much more we should expect charismatic strange movemnts where many people are predicting. But it was not what paul was desiring for saints. It was about being open for God speaking into their hearts and allowed Him to share with words of encouragement. It is not about soulish definition but really about content. Mike knows it, his wife knows it, and all brothers and sisters who experienced it knows what I am talking about.I heard Mike saying about such an experience. But this is not limited to private situations or to predicting .
I’ve always heard that were Paul writes that women can’t speak, or preach I. A service, that originally he was referring to Diana, should remain silent and not speak. I’m assuming that other records have been found to substantiate this claim. I totally agree that God uses all people for his purpose. God won’t use a wheelchair man to run a foot race, but there are other areas that will suite that man, for Gods glory. I don’t think a dividing line is drawn for or against male or female. Ellen White wrote about things, and according the the Bible, she did both jobs disruptions of the biblical definition to qualify her as a profits.
Normally I'm right with you, on the way you answer questions, and even here where I happen to disagree with you that's not the point. The point is misquoting Scripture. I'm sure this isn't something you'd let any other Bible teacher get away with. You see, Deborah never said "If I go out and fight with you I'll get the glory," which is what you said she did. Here is Judges 4:9, "She said, “I will indeed go with you. However, the way you are going will gain you no glory, for the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh." and in verse 21, "Then Jael the wife of Heber took a tent peg and a hammer in her hand and went quietly to him, for he was fast asleep and tired. She drove the tent peg into his temple, and it went down into the ground, so he died." So the woman spoken of by Deborah in verse 9 was Jael the wife of Heber"
Hi Brother im pleased that your wife has the gift i like the way you brought that out about and the explanation of such things .Ive seen some of the comments and i realize that they our as it says they have eyes but can not see and ears and can not hear .
I agree with most commentaries as to what was proper in each culture or nations way of life as to what is or is not respectable. For instance, if in church to listen and learn, then women should ask their husbands any questions they may have and not out in public as to belittle their husband. Yet the bible speaks of women being prophets or teachers and in this capacity they are allowed to speak. It all boils down to obedience and respect of laws where living. PeaceB2All
@gimbledink7227 I do theology, I think I've read that chapter a lot more than you have.. lol. I came from a Pentecostal church, I left the church because charismatics simply don't have sound doctrine. You guys grab a verse and don't take into perspective the ENTIRE bible, old and new testament. Aside from reading the entire chapter, how about you read the old testament so that you can better understand the new testament
This is such bologna!! It’s a shame we still have dinosaurs speaking publicly in willful ignorance-who refuse to take into account the times and culture; traditions! This is why I’ve lost my religion. This is why I’m so thankful I have a personal relationship with the Lord! God gave both male and female the gift of prophecy it is man who has tried to put limits on it! Speak women! Speak and do not be fooled by what is NOT God!
Greetings my dear sister, I 'm a woman and I study the word myself and I must agree Yah can use women BUT we must stay in our land and abide in the scriptures and see what women did and did they ever take leading roles in the church, NO WE DIDN"T. We help just as did my dear sister Phebe in Romans 16:1. I can go to Acts and see what Dorcas did and other women, but I'm sure we must as women be careful what titles/offices we take on. Blessings unto the believers.

@TheChrist4All I'm not a charismatic, I'm a messianic jew, btw, but that chapter was about God's eternal love never failing.

2023 and the consequences of disobedience to these principles are palpable.
@TheChrist4All You should try reading the whole chapter. You would understand the scripture better.

What if a woman is given biblical prophetic answers? Hint: Scripture answers scripture.
Oh please...
There are no more such things as Apostles and Prophets those things have passed.
