I am a FIlipino and got inspired with AK's latest performance so I wanted to try and practice Shaheen last night but I'm glad I saw this video you posted a month ago and was able to see more optimized combo.
So I haven't watched the whole video. BUT, when Tekken 8 first dropped, I went down the Shaheen path because he is one of my favorite characters. Made it to red rank and switched to other characters to hopefully see improvement. I stumbled across this video and it just lit the flame back up again. In two days I went from Garyu and as of 20 minutes ago, hit my first Fujin in any Tekken game with any character. Thanks for bringing the spark back, it feels good to be back having fun with this character
Thank you for this!!! I’ve been wanting to improve and be good with my main, Shaheen!!! I went from Dominator to Garyu since this!! My goal is to reach something like at least Flame Ruler. Not too fancy, I love Tekken since 2- I just want to be decent is all. Shaheen mains, represent!!!!! :)
I was training and adding to my muscle memory a lot of this tech, get back to the game and easily get tu Fujin. This guide was awesome, just like my uncle.
I spent hours trying to get the 41:41 combo consistently and kept whiffing because I thought that I had to be FASTER cancelling the SNK into crouch, not slower. Until at one moment I got tired and became slower, and because of that the combo magically started to be more consistent 🤣 I also find it kinda unreliable sometimes too. I think I'm going to start using the 68 damage one too.
Saw you are going to evo Japan. Im trying my hardest to learn Japanese to one day be able to travel to Japan somehow (im pretty poor). Ill be cheering you on!

One thing I’ve been searching for trying to find was how do you do that jump approach and it’s actually a cancel of his superman punch, so do the superman punch into cancel it press down and back at the same time
@@Ghirlanda The only way I can get it to work right now is by cancelling SNK...I'll have to practice this. Thanks! EDIT: I cant seem to get it even one time lol
@@fortress621 while shaheen is doing the stance crouch dash, you should already be holding d/b. There is a part where he stays crouching still (successfully cancelled), from here it is up to you how fast you can slide
Yoshi gets a 2 2 jab punish 30 damage into +15 knockdown right in front of you with the sword put away for mix or he can cancel 2 2 into kincho stamce super fun character best jab punishes in the game
Great video, unfortunately I have to massive script dislike and report this video for people not to know and pick up shaheen. It's been so relaxing not being called carried and top tier abuser and nerf tweets non stop. We need shaheen to stay off the radar forever.
good starter combo, then switch to launch, d2, 4,1, df3,1, now you can choose to either do ws3,3 cancel from snk or do ws3, ws3,3 which is a bit harder but more rewarding. Then just do fcdf2, ff3
Hi im trying to learn some shaheen combos, but the internet is full of useless Spam i cannot for the love of god find a good guide with Button Inputs written out anywhere and trying to decipher them out of your Video here as a not shaheen Main is almost impossible for me i hope some fellow players can help me out here 😅 Its always the same drama learning a new character you always gotta sift throu all the old outdated and misleading Informations

The Shaheen kick flip is crazy
For combos I like doing df2 , (hold down) u2 into tornado and then some follow up (like FC df2, f2,4,4, ff3). Can get ~70 dmg with no heat or rage.

Df d df3! If you watch the slide part i sorta explained it there live. It takes some practice, i still fail it quite often myself

learn from which moves it can be buffered from. You can hold d while doing othe rmoves animations
Comming from Lars who is way slower I feel like I am going to own so good once I get heens moves and stuff down

Shaheens combos are unnecessarily complex. That diagonal mess on a console controller is NOT IT! I have to forgo that WS 3,3 in all his combos.
