Just one thing that hasn't been mentioned in the comments: b3 is not uninterruptible on block. A low jab should still trade with it, even though the trade will be in your favor due to your df1 doing more damage than a d1. Now, if b3 was +4 on block, it would be uninterruptible. Think of it this way: b3 is +3 on block. Your df1 usually comes out in 13 frames, but since you're at +3 on block, you subtract the +3 frame advantage from the 13 frames of startup for the df1. That technically makes the df1 come out in 10 frames, which is the SAME startup frame for a crouching jab. That makes both moves trade with each other.
Other than that, great video. I love Shaheen and those who play him. To me, that says something good about your character, the fact that you would use the most honest character in the game competitively.
F 3+4 is a nice move to throw in fron time to time as well, it's either +2 or 3 on block and goes into stealth step. I like to throw it out and use the crouch cancel and get wr4 as soon as possible cause it beats anything if they try to mash right away. If you condition people to block high, then you can start tagging them with stealth step 4 if they start respecting the WR4

I see b3 as Shaheens premium oki move. I don’t think it should necessarily be great in neutral

Nice video chief a counter hit not mentioned but important that could have been mentioned is 1,2,3 as it is hit confirmable. I also would like to point out that as well as SNK 1 or SNK 2, SNK DF1,2 and SNK DF1,3 are also very good after D3 into SNK on hit as it is i14. I also believe that 1,2,2 is actually -11 not -12 or 13. Another great guide keep up the strong work brother.
whats good about the 123 counter? it doesnt launch just plus 3 on hit

@@shiestyworld218 it being hit confirmable is what makes it good brotha. Also since it is CH confirmable you can easily go into SNK for a mixup afterwards.
Ive been playing shaheen for weeks and had no idea about ws1 or f3 ch. Absolute game changer.
Are you able to do a vid on shaheen ws3 loop? I can get it on its own in practice mode but whenever i try to put it into a combo before the tornado i cant get the timing right.
Love the content. I legitimately think shaheen has the coolest gameplay in tekken. Wanna play like lee? Slide on em. Drag? Wr2 that shit. Steve? Ch for days. Only thing i wish is that snake had natural high evasion on other moves besides snk2. Even snk4 can get popped by jabs in my experience.

So many tools I haven’t been utilizing! Also do you throw and of the Snakes by going manually into Snake? Or do you only use those moves transitioning into stance from another move?

Quick question: I'm struggling to do ws1 from SNK in the middle of a combo (I'm using pad). Same goes for ws3,3 from SNK. Sometimes fc3 would come out 😅 Do you have any tips?
Your slides are so awesome. It's very tricky to do uf1d to the slide on a pad - I'm aspiring to do it as quickly as you do 💪
You mean stance cancel does not work... Its kinda hard I would say even some pro players drop combos cuz of it... My personal tips is as soon you see Shaheen doing the stealth stance animation press db than release almost a tap than press 1 with little practice you will get use to it... And do it alone out of combos until you master it than insert in combos it will come naturally
Fc 4 into sneak works good aswell
After the first d3 into Stealth Step + 2, I really can’t link next Stealth Step to continue the combo. Any tips/tricks on input timing?
snake 2 doesn't give guaranteed B4 on CH. You can roll that knockdown. snake 4 gives untechable knockdown.

down 3 into snk is kind tricky for me
b4 is also another CH mid launcher..but..good luck trying to get that to hit..so far i use it on ppl who mash getup kicks and it has some success. any other good strat to place the b4 to fish the CH?
not worth it, its -15 on block. The pushback is not enough vs king f21 or similar long range quick punishments

I like your video on shaheen. However, my only complaint is that your explaining moves, but you forgetting to say what the move is at time.

Is Shaheen really a CH-based character? Shaheen's CH game seems weak compared to other CH-based characters like Lee or Steve. No G clef (1,2,2 doesn't do much damage or knockdown). A lot of his CH launchers are extremely punishable (magic 4 if they duck the 1, db3, b4). Watching pro players like Double, LowHigh, or SephiBlack...I never see them using the string launchers except sometimes FC df4,1 to close out rounds. The only big CH tool at top level seems to be ws1. Am I missing something?
unless you playing at pro level, people gonna mash to some extend and as much they mash, more CH char Shaheen becomes.
I definitely wouldn’t call shaheen a dedicated CH character. I think you can eat more mileage on CH’s with Bryan, Steve, and lee. I also play raven and even he gets a lot more mileage of CH launchers than shaheen does.
But one of the things I love about shaheen is the way his counter hits flow and the avenues to them. You can go from spacing to ch, uf1 cancels to ch, stance cancels to ch and WS punishment to ch

It's not a specialist ch character, but he has ch aspects. 122, re-analyse it. You can use it in two different forms. It's either a gclef in use or you can delay the 2 which is a ch launcher.
