Hey man! Love the vids. I have the same car, currently experiencing very low power upon acceleration, but sometimes it feels like normal acceleration. I’ve cleaned my throttle body, just as good as yours came out, and replaced a lot of other parts. Seems to be a lean condition with somewhat high short term fuel trim. I’ve always done the relearn procedure as well. Anything you could recommend? Maybe my TB is toast? Currently 235,000 miles.
Did you change the gaskets with it? Confirm you have no air leaks around the intake or TB. Also, Oxygen sensors can cause erroneous issues with Mazda/Ford especially the upstream one. Any engine lights? When i did the relearn make sure the AC is off and all power options are off. Check your battery voltage/ connections make sure they arent slightly loose or partially corroded
The Fish Hook Trader Options Trading! Thank you for your fast reply!!! Yes I’ve replaced both o2 sensors, EGR, intake runner solenoids, new battery, new vacuum lines new PCV Hose and valve. No leaks around intake manifold. Had a p2096. Did another relearn have driven 50 miles today and no light on but definitely something wrong with something. No power at all, hard to explain but when I let off the throttle it’s like it corrects its self and feels normal until I gas it again. I had a cold air intake on it but I removed it and put the stock air box in. Seemed to not change anything.
Check the catalytic converter. Get a hold to a digital thermometer and test the temperature after a good drive. It could be choking the engine at higher rpm
As for the egr I would just drive for a long time. I had a engine light on and after a couple of 7200 RPM runs that light went off. On the other hand I was stuck in snow but I do know that a nice long drive helps
pressrolls the brush was very soft. And used mostly microfiber towels with B12 Chemtol spray. Don't use anything abrasive. Toothbrushes do work great, pending the bristles don't flake off into the intake manifold. Minimal force should be applied in any case
ras 47 yes, just make sure it doesnt fall apart with any chemicals you use if you do, 99% alcohol would likely be fine as well as how quick it evaporates. Also, harbor freight or home depot sell nylon bristle brushes that would work similar to tooth brush and be a little longer to get a good full through clean without 10000 small circles :) unless your into that kind of thing

ras 47 dont blow it up lol, egr codes are often vacuum or carbon build up related, so high revs and heat may help
Dont use wire. You can damage the venturi (see Mazda tech manual) Go to the dollar store and buy a pack of cheapo tooth brushes. Soft bristles.
