Posting this incase it helps anyone. I followed all of this and it was very simple except I spent a very long time trying to unplug the plug from the throttle body. Apparently you need to be pushing on the clip thats facing the front of the car (its hard to see until you remove the 4 bolts), push the plug in, then pull out. I was trying for a while with no success but eventually got it by doing that and wiggling a lot.
My Mazda 6 2013 revs rpm’s while idle or mainly when I am stopped with my foot on the break or when I am slowing down! It’s seeming like this is the problem
Usually it should at least improves the idle, or if the engine shakes (drop in rpm) when coming to a stop, it should help. However, the much easier task, cleaning the mas improves quite a bit in throttle response even at just 45 kmiles.
I am not sure. I just paid attention to the force I needed to remove and put it back the same torque. Just make sure to tighten each screw lightly first in order then slowly increase the torque evenly
Can you move cap when cleaning? I heard it is not got to move it, becuse it can mix electronics memory. Becuse it is computer who open and close that cap. Please respond. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. I’ll be doing this soon. 😊

At 2:30 I am having a tough time unplugging the electrical port, could you please explain how to do so? thank you!
Did you take it off? I couldn't take mine off at all
I remember it was tricky. I think I used a nose pliers to press down the tab, then a small flat screw driver to push them apart.

This is my problem too in a 2016. Did you find a solution?
Great video! Do you mind providing a list of the tools that you used?
Just basic tools, nothing special. It’s quite easy compared to other cars I worked on
Great video! Which improvements did you gain?

is there a torque spec for the TB bolts?

Yes, many including professionals did, but do not force the butterflies open more than you can.
