Wild Ass Ergonomic Seat Cushions for distance riders - The real deal? My take after 16k miles

I've tried God knows how many options for keeping my butt from getting sore when touring. So the founder of Wild Ass threw down the gauntlet and challenged me with his ergonomic seat cushion. I have since ridden 16k miles on that thing. In this view we'll take a look at the product and I will share my experience.

What do you think makes this better than the AirHawk? You mentioned the quality of the material, but is there a design difference that makes it better? I have an AirHawk and wondering if it’s worth buying something else.

Compared to the AirHawk that I had, the quality of the bladder is on a whole different level. I’m sure that there also has to be a difference in the design. Shoot Craig a note and ask him what the difference is. I’m sure he’ll have something to say about it. Bring your AirHawk to FDBM if you end up being able to make it. We can compare the two!

What’s the rational for making the air pads so big if you’re not gonna air ‘em up?

I need to try that method to setting mine up. When I switched seats, I have more issue with the setup. I do love using it in my office chair too!!
