Back in 1990 My wife and I with another couple south rode Motorcycles into Niagara Falls Ontario and then crossed into New York and saw both sides of the Falls. Awesome sight. Thanks for the memories
Border crossings don't bother me, except for the wait time as it can get rather hot. When i have to wait, i turn the engine off. When it's time to move, i simply disengage the parking brake and push the Spyder forward. At the booth, i use the kill switch and turn off the engine so that i can hear and interact properly with the border agent. It's just part of the ride for me. Cheers Chris!
Hey Chris, we made it home from Niagara Falls safely to say on Sunday. We really enjoyed the falls on both sides. But it was a better view on the Canadian side. Rode the maid of the mist and got good and wet and also went behind the falls which was awesome. That was one item on our bucket list marked off. The weather was good! Take care and liked your video showing the places we went. Take care!
Thanks Chris for the view of Skylon Tower. I known you said you would do a view of this in dusk later on in the year and I am so looking forward to that. 🙂
Thanks for such an interesting view of the falls We hope to attend Canada from the UK next year and would visit the falls. Being a Spyder Owner/Rider you showed us just how nice it is Thank you so much for sharing your ride with us Keep up your excellent videos Eddie Dorset UK
You’ll love it. Make sure you take the scenic roads rather than the highways every chance you get. It’s wine and fruit country near Niagara so enjoy the views.
Like I stated before spend the $50 USD / $80 CDN and get a nexus card and use the whirlpool bridge and wait 2 minutes to cross! Pass is good for 5 years, $10 per year! No brainer! Plus you get TSA pre, and global entry!
I find it funny when people complain about being filmed when in fact you are literally on camera by someone or some entity the minute you walk out your front door.
@@SpyderChrisYT and I’m amazed by just how many cameras are out there from the ones in the parking lot of your local Walmart to your neighbors Ring door bell camera. This being said the police and public officials are the ones who need to be filmed the most to stop them from continually violating our constitutional rights. PS I really enjoy your channel even though you don’t ride a Harley lol
I work for the “guvament”. We have cameras everywhere on campus and so does the border patrol guy. He’s definitely not talking about any Canadian laws there.
I think security is the reason that they don’t want you to film. Some of the questions could be revealing to anybody who is trying to get into the country under false pretenses or things of that nature so I wouldn’t get too twisted up about it, but it would be nice to film, but I can understand their perspective from it as well. It’s like police department. You know they’ll film what they want to film butI don’t always film the body cam and release all of it. That’s part of the problem is they’re not in control of the editing.
Holy crap! The US bound traffic on the bridge! And guess where I'm heading tomorrow and how I'm going to get there. But no, not on the Spyder with my wife and dog. Is the traffic more/less the same going from Canada to NY on the bridge closer to Niagara-on-the-Lake?
@@SpyderChrisYT we zoomed right across the Rainbow Bridge tonight. The Blue Water Bridge from Port Huron to Sarina was a whole ‘nother story with a 45 minute delay.
@@mum-0217it’s a renovation. When casinos were first approved they wanted to get ahead of the game so renovated an old mall so it’s now a rather nice casino. They then built the Fallsview Casino which is an even nicer casino a bit closer to the view of the falls (hence the name). The tower is still there but the “mall” is long gone. There are stores inside the casino but not part of the original mall.
That is not true. You can't go in a gov't building in someone's office and start filming them. You can film in the public access areas of most gov't building, but not all.
@@SpyderChrisYT yes public buildings are owned by the taxpayers, not just the public. There are certain things in public buildings that should not be allowed to be filmed due to security risks. Also I don’t think anyone should be allowed to deliberately film public who are in government buildings that are there conducting business. IMO. As a retired Senior Fire Marshal I have no issue with being filmed doing my job
If you don’t have anything to hide why do you care But to get filmed Well I guess thats if you acknowledge it goes viral and you become famous when you just wanted to stay invisible Some of us want to not have other people know our were abouts for our safety and just be left alone

It's been about 10 years since we've visited Niagara Falls. Thanks for the tour.

Just got back from Niagara Falls. Was there over 50 years ago. Nice video.
I hope you had a good visit.

I guess we’re all still getting used to the proliferation of camera technology.

I agree - it's more about their security than your rights.

I believe the Lewiston-Queenston bridge traffic moves faster. Download the CBP app and get real time traffic reports from the bridges.

It looks like a big amusement park
It kinda sorta is. Touristy things everywhere, including a Ferris wheel just a 5 minute walk from the bridge. Lots of restaurants though.
What,s that tower which says casino on it? is it possible ot go up that?

Yeah. For the most part, you can film anywhere with a few exceptions. The border kiosks NOT being one of them.
People should not be permitted to enter government buildings to film when there are members of the public doing business there
I guess the counter argument is the public buildings are owned by the public. Government workers are being trained how to handle these situations.
