Hey awesome video. Very helpful. I am planning to cross the border by foot and get to the Buffalo airport. Would you know how far is the airport from the parking lot? Is there any bus or other public transport options?
I am not sure to be honest. I would assume you can always take Uber once you cross the border, but will suggest to do some research about transportation before you go
No, it takes at least half an hour to drive from Niagara Falls, NY to Buffalo airport. Way too far to walk.
There may be public or private busses from downtown Niagara Falls, either side, to Buffalo airport.

Saw the rainbow Bridge last month during visit to Niagara Falls. Ont. , but did not have time to visit. I will next summer! 🌈 ❤
When I was a kid there use to be two popular swimming areas on the Canadian side, one of them was a free swimming pool near the other bridge about a half mile down river and Dufferin Islands a natural pond not far from this bridge.
Bunch of use to go across together and the Border Agents on both sides would just ask us if we were born in the US and if we were bringing anything in, and then say have fun.

I remember when we were able to cross the border just with driver license
@@lvfreeAdventures still can if you if choose to get an enhanced drivers license (Step above REAL ID Standard) in one of the states that offers one. NY Offers an enhanced drivers license for an extra $30

It depends where you travelling from and whether you need Canadian visa. If you don't require to have canadian visa, or have it - there should not be any problem

I assume you are entering from Canada. If yes, you will need visa to enter USA, but you don't need visa to go on the bridge. Make sure you have your Canadian passport or Canadian visa with you - you will need to show Canadian custom when coming back

How long did it take you to walk across the rainbow bridge
It's a short walk - under 10 minutes, the bridge is about 400m long

I’m an International student in Canada holding Student Visa. Do I need the US visa to walk across the bridge like you did and view the Niagara Falls from the park of US Side?
I think you should be ok to walk on the bridge, but you won't be able to cross US border at the end of the bridge. You will be asked by Canadian customs on the way back and you will need to show your visa. I think it should be fine since half of the bridge is Canada and half of the bridge is US

You can park at Skyline Hotel & Waterpark - entrance from Bender Str, or there few private parking lots on Bender St

Where is the closest car park to make the journey on foot to the border crossing?
Probably 4689 Bender St Parking, or any other parking on that street and it's relatively cheap
As an EU citizen, are you required to show vaccine proof? Or are only Canadians exempt from this?
As far as I know you don't need proof if you crossing US Border on foot or by car no matter what your citizenship is. I believe they still require if you fly directly into US though.

Yes, you can walk on the bridge - but can't cross US customs. On the way back to Canada - you will be asked couple of questions - but since you have Canadian visa you should not have any problem

Why not apply for an US visa as well? For purpose of visit you can just say you want to see the Niagara falls from the us side as well when you are visiting the area

When entering from Canadian side to US. How does one get their bicycle across if the gate is only designed for people?

I just did it yesterday! For cyclists, you have go to with the car lanes. Unlike pedestrians, who will pay the $1 toll at the Canadian side, cyclists will pay the $1 toll on the way back from USA to Canada.
What documents needs to visit bridge??
If you just want to walk on bridge and don't cross another side - you just need passport or visa for the country that you are coming from. For example, if you walking from Canadian side - you can walk to the middle of bridge and then you will need to show Canadian customs - your Canadian passport or Canadian visa.

If your country requires US visa to enter USA - then you will need US visa to enter US side... but you still can go to middle of bridge and come back to Canada - just make sure you have your passport and Canadian visa with you - since you will have to show to Canadian customs on the way back

You should be able to walk on the bridge and come back to Canadian side - but don't think they will let you cross US border if you don't have US visa

No! You’ll need your Hungarian Passport and need to get a U.S. Visa. Look it up on the Internet and get the proper and correct and up-to-date information. You don’t rely on UA-cam videos to get important information like this. Be a smart traveller, and avoid problems when you get to your destination.

I'm seeing that as a pedestrian you can't cross between 10pm to 6am. Did they give you a time when the bridge closes?

It depends on your citizenship. If you have a Canadian passport - you don't need visa, you just show your passport and that is it

You will need a Canadian passport. You will not be able to go to the US side without one.
@@Eclipse503 There are other forms of ID that canadians can use to enter the USA and vice versa, but yeah birth cert isn't an acceptable ID to enter the USA
