Finishing the challenge course out with an eagle was exciting to see!
Surprise 5D golf time! This is a fun little extrapolation from what the game has been up to now. Previously, it took place in a 4D space represented as a 3D projection of a primarily 2D gold course, using that 3D projection to visualize rotating that 2D(ish) course. Now by rotating the 3D space, that's representing the fifth dimension. And of course all this adds literally a whole new dimension to the controls.

FYI he did finally release a devlog about getting 5D to work - and he had to make new data structures because GPUs don't natively support 5D tables or something like that - mad respect for the developer, the amount of work to make everything happen is just mind blowing.

The secret to beating par in all levels is enabling the volume view line in the settings and switching the putting method to metered. You already enabled the colored shadows, which can be a help too (except in 5D where it's just technicolor vomit)
And also sleeping on it. First time through the 5D levels were absolutely brain-frying, but after going to bed and trying the next days it was merely boggling. Using individual level practice instead of a full 9-hole course, after a few tries at each 5D level you start to get a feel for it's true shape and how to navigate it.

i don't know if you've already recorded everything that exists in the game, but in case not, imo for 5d it's much more important than 4d to have ghost colors switched on. (and make use of slice toggle so you don't have to de-seizure your footage!) then you can see by color what's above or below you, and eventually get a sense for how your shots will bank into the 5th dimension off walls :}
