Hey brother I guess you better address the pigeon situation! Got some people in here super hot about that apparently! Not sure what the issue was pigeon looked great probably was a little confused disorganized and did need some time to recover. Glad you guys did the right thing my man! Your fish died when you were in the states came back and I don't recall him talking anything negative about that situation because it was an accident! Those were dead fish this is a live pigeon and these people commenting on the pigeon are very fussy, very selfishly confused also I can assure you that the pigeon is esteemed and leveled up much higher than the fish according to the way these Believers think and choose to animals in order of importance. Unfortunate

Pro tip paint and stain all the wood before assembling it. Trust it’s so much faster and easier

The racking looks great. The coloured LEDs will take it to the next level.
For the ocd ones i would swap out the tanks from the middle and the top layer.
That way you go from top to bottom small to big.
Now its middle small big.
But anyway besides that.

Just a thought, when painting the backs of tanks, if you put a light source inside the tank, you'd be able to see if it needs another coat without moving it 🤔 perhaps..
Honest opinion/critics. I personnaly dislike where the channel's going. I used to watch every video but since it became a vlog type of channel with friend involved, not interested anymore. I dont come here to watch friend talking and going to the pub, i came here to watch setup videos. They look like a good friend and a loving wife dont get me wrong. They're just not why im here. Been following for 2 years now and here it comes to an end.
You can use the water from your tanks to water the plants everytime you do water changes. It will be more beneficial for your house plants.
Second this^^ I saw that he did say he would start doing this in the last video and I really hope he does. My little Dracaena plant had one leaf on it and now it's propagating below the dirt, so cool!
And the best thing is you can save money especially as a Aquarium Content Creator you will save a lot of money to spend it in new plants(or pub)
Better yet when you clean out filters use fish poo it makes em grow like crazy

Pigeon looks to be a Trumpeter pigeon and will have been captive bred. It won't have any concept of 'outside' so probably why it hit the window. It won't survive in the wild.
Where do y'all live? I can go on facebook groups from that area and ask if someone is missing a bird. I mean, surely y'all already murdered it by releasing an injured pet bird in the wild but if there is a possibility it could be located by the owner then I would let the pigeon community in your area know.

That pigeon is a special kind of pigeon and most probably someone's pet. I know you guys tried to help but it cannot live on its own and even cannot fly If its owner has trained it not to fly. Someone who feeds pigeons would love to keep it.
Maybe they could've brought it to a vet/wildlife place, it shouldn't be out in the wild like that though if it is a domesticated pigeon

Found a bird like that after a wind storm. Called Animal Control. Turns out it was a trained bird used by a show here in Las Vegas. They reunited him!

When he came back found out one of them had died and got sucked into the filter and the large ones died because of lack of oxygen in the tank. I had a suggestion. How about building a huge, like 3-4ft shrimp only tank. Like, filled with shrimp, all kinds of different shrimp. I personally think it would be really cool to see a tank like that alongside nano-cubes.

I've always been curious why you guys don't use black vinyl wrap for the back of tanks. It would be super easy and fast to apply it and you could also just peel it off if you wanted to change it. Just seems like it would be easier than paint. Anyways love the vids!

Bedec Multi Surface Paint is amazing for this kind of thing - its not cheap but its designed to stick to pretty much anything without the need for a primer ;)

Oracal 631 vinyl works great for black backgrounds. It will last for a very long time..... I have some that's been on for many years, but is meant to be temporary. Will probably work for pink too.
Hi Matt and MD what would be some good cheap tanks for a rack like this. I notice you have “aqua scaping “ tanks but I’m just interested in cheap tanks to breed fish in around 50-90 litres. Not rimless
