This whole wall build series has been just fantastic. Getting to hear you two bounce ideas off each other is something that just can't be done by a single person. At least without him sounding quite mad.
And you're going to put fish in them too? Better still! 😁
p.s. When I was a kid here in the United States 40 or 50 years ago, the same story of burping to show appreciation was told about the Italians. No doubt very rude there as well.

An LED is a light emitting diode, a diode is a component that lets a current flow one-way but not the other! They are made out of a crystal-like material that chemically reacts to an electrical current. I'm still a novice but I loved Electrical engineering in school and have always considered getting into the profession.

You need a reservoir to equalise the air pressure... A 12 - 15 foot PVC pipe sealed at both ends will do the trick

Loving these videos lately guys. Such good vibes in the studio. Careful with back pressure on that diaphragm pump, it could wear out very quickly with the type of splitter you are using. I'd reccomend getting a linear piston air pump in the future! My video last week explains why! 👍

For a better air system you should make a ring circuit for the air. Will make sure all tanks have equal pressure.
Over time you may find your method requires constant adjustment.

if you can manage to figure out a way to attach an air stone to the inside of those sponge filters it'll produce smaller bubbles to lessen the noise and give better flow to the tanks. also wouldn't be a bad idea to look into a check valve in case power goes out or something the back pressure wont suck water into your air lines that can cause a bunch of problems. and since you used clear air line the possibility of algae growing in the air lines is there. that'll plug up the air flow and eventually just stop air flow all together. since you have room behind or between the boards where the main lights are you could use PVC pipe (paint black for aesthetics) with the flow valves screwed in for each tank for easier and better air line management. if you put the PVC pipe behind the tanks where the color changing LED's are and pull the air line up into the tanks with a check valve per air line with black airline tubing since you have painted each tank black it'll hide the air line better for a cleaner look, instead of having the lines falling from the tops into the tanks. the clear air line will turn white and have algae grow inside eventually and really stand out against the black of the tanks. I've recently set up my fish room in the past two years and wish someone would of told me about not using clear tubing in advance since I've had to replace all of the old clear tubing 5 months in and have not had any issues since i switched to the black.

Awesome fish rack! I got the same Fujimac air pump it works like a charm, really good choice. I got mine plugged into a plug/dimmer so I can adjust its power. I think the best way to supply air is to fit the plastic pipe above the tanks connect the pipes to the air pump then drill some holes for the valves in the pipe. I used a 21.5mm overflow pipe for that. You can get the pipes and fittings in screfix and they are very easy to glue together with solvent weld.

It would be a pain, but theoretically you could get really long vinyl tubing and run the air pipes from the bottom of the shelves, and have them come up the back of the black backgrounds, that way you wouldn't be able to see the tubes coming down

Loving the content from the two of you. Quick tip, careful of the airhose popping off on the pump and hanging down below the water level of the tank as this may cause a siphon and drain the tank and you'll come into the studio in the morning with a very wet floor and possible loss of livestock...

Great end result! The rack looks solid and pretty neat. If you used wider beams, the shelf could hold a ton easily (no idea about floor). I know people use similar construction, usually with legs "masoned' in the wall and heavy steel beams instead of wood. Downside is less space in the stand and for the hoses and cables, compared to wooden or steel stands.
I actually considered something like this for my 714l tank (189 gallons), but went with more typical approach of steel "box" of rack and wooden cover.

Very well done lads, just 1 thing to note, them LED strips did not look water resistant, so in a few weeks or months some of the SMD's on the strips will go off with the condensation and evaporation etc from the tanks, in my experience they also sag and even the water proof ones get rusty on the back as the copper is exposed a little because the water gets behind the strips. Apart from that, it looks very good in deed.
    Keep up the good work.
    Cheers.

One way to make sure the airline doesn’t come off the connector is to fully seat it down on the connector then put a zip tie around it as well. It’s practically bulletproof! I do it with all of my check valves just for peace of mind.

Lights that are recessed like y’all have them are typically referred to as “bias lighting”, figured I would let yall know! Much ❤ from Seattle

Looks fantastic! So excited for both of you. Having spent nearly 14 years working for Lucasfilm, LucasArts, and Industrial Light & Magic, I love all the Star Wars references. Looking forward to seeing the video of your trip to the Netherlands. I'm headed there myself in a few weeks for a convention appearance, but I won't get to hang out at Super Fish like you "cool kids" did. Blessings to you!

If you do get a large square tank for the centre of your studio I think it would be awesome to see a Giant Lilypad in an aquarium!
    Love what you do guys!

Tropical waterlilies would probably work fine. That would be so cool. I think I used to have them in my indoor pond but it was more than 25 years ago and I can't remember!

You don't want bears in your tanks? But what about panda cory's and panda shrimp?😁Seriously though, it's come together so absolutely lovely! I'm sure you will soon have ironed out all the kinks and it will all work perfectly, and even so, you can already give yourselves and each other a very well-earned pat on the back!

Just a tip I would have done treated plywood instead of mdf. MdF and water do not go well. On the other hand I am going to steal this idea for myself !

Love the video, as always you guys are super entertaining. But I feel like I have missed something, the wall of fish tanks, are you opening up for selling fish? are you going to be breeding? Are those so that you don't have to go back and forth to the fish store when you were setting up fish in a scape? Originally I thought you were going to do a wall of cube scapes, but now I'm left guessing

Would love a system like this but I'm wondering about the humidity, won't it be too much for a room? And start to create mould?
