      OFFICIALTHENX Hey Chris. Great video.
      i think a good video that would give alot of value to beginners or anyone in general is talking about the "finding time" excuse. Talking about how great calisthenics is for busy people or people who want to work out at home and talk how the THENX app makes it easy and mobile. no gym required. And im sure with your expertise the list of benifits that would apply to a video like this would be plenty to fill a video
      Thanks for all the great videos!

    He has no struggle on those pull ups. No shake. No facial stress. Looks weightless. Like a feather. Damn near majestic. So smooth. Thats what i want. It must be earned. I will earn it
    Edit: Post 2 yr update. 4 sets of 10 different grip each one. Started at 5 reps 4 sets 210lbs body weight, 180lbs now with the 4 sets of 10. No idea if thats a good amount. They are tough at the end though.

    So I have been going to the gym for about a year & a half trying to tone back up and build muscle. Always have been athletic but after having kids, I really let myself go. I tried P90X, dabbled a little bit in CrossFit, and tried a few other exercise regimes. I felt consistently inconsistent in anything that I did. I ran across your channel and started watching some of your videos. I downloaded your app and started doing the workouts everyday. I still struggle with the beginner level, even now, (going on 3 months) but I'm seeing a huge transformation (for me). I went from 0 pull-Ups, to 6 unassisted. The app gives me a lot of direction and I don't feel lost in the gym. I really appreciate you and your team, and thanks for being humble and wanting to see people succeed.

    And today i manage to do 5 pull-up (at my chest level )
    The first time i do a perfect pull-up, i remember 2 months ago that i was struggling to lift my body up... After that tears of joy just hits me man....

      Exactly what he says, also remember not to give up. Doesn’t matter if you can’t do much reps. There will be some people that will be jerks and will make fun of you because they’re jealous. Then there’s people who WILL help you ALWAYS, this are those who you gotta stay close to. These people will make your reps increase because of motivation. Idk why I said this tho I just felt like I had to say something about jerks and good ppl. Now, there’s another type of motivation / inspiration, maybe my favourite and the reason I’m training. Yourself. The one who’s gonna change is you. If you don’t change physically, you will increase reps, you always have to look at your improvement, you will notice how you’ve progressed and you will be proud of yourself. The progress could be slow, but don’t stop, be proud of yourself because you started and you’re giving your best. Good Morning / Night / Evening wtvr.

      No matter the number of pull ups or chin ups you do, Always strive for quality reps over quantity. Don't want a fellow calisthenics athlete become a crossfitter would we? (♡˙︶˙♡)

    Another great starter kit vid with techniques and negatives. I have been using it for sure. Works! Now I can progress on to use Zay's resistance band for beginners vid. Then work on Osvaldo's . Wow what a team Thenx strength you guys exude through your individual approach in training...lots of passion, personality and most importantly synergy amongst you three. Very iconic. Hope that you guys stay together, share, earn and never part ways for many years to come. Take a break if u must, but don't ever split up.

    Great video man! This is best explanation if how to start out doing pull-ups I've ever seen. I'm 50 years old and I never been able to do than 15 pull-ups at a time. And that was 30 years ago.. I'm gonna start again with Australian style to keep my strength up as I get okder.I'm a subscriber from this day forward. Thank you Soo much for breaking it down for me.

    How long do I give my body to rest before I can repeat this workout? Is this a daily workout routine?

    • @Velc3838
      @Velc3838 5 років тому +2

      Workout 4-5 days a week and have around 48 hours of rest. Rest is key because during rest your muscles are rebuilding, becoming bigger, and stronger
