OFFICIALTHENX Hey Chris. Great video. i think a good video that would give alot of value to beginners or anyone in general is talking about the "finding time" excuse. Talking about how great calisthenics is for busy people or people who want to work out at home and talk how the THENX app makes it easy and mobile. no gym required. And im sure with your expertise the list of benifits that would apply to a video like this would be plenty to fill a video Thanks for all the great videos!
He has no struggle on those pull ups. No shake. No facial stress. Looks weightless. Like a feather. Damn near majestic. So smooth. Thats what i want. It must be earned. I will earn it Edit: Post 2 yr update. 4 sets of 10 different grip each one. Started at 5 reps 4 sets 210lbs body weight, 180lbs now with the 4 sets of 10. No idea if thats a good amount. They are tough at the end though.
Starting this. I’ve lost 100 pounds and I can finally do an awful technique cheat pull-up. Lol. It’s a start. I’m starting this progression. Thanks for everything. You’re such a strong dude. It’s crazy.
Same here bro...all my life smoking marijuana and eating lead to losing all my physical strenght. Last year i came acorss his channel and have lost 15 pounds started doing 2 pull ups and 5-8 with bands. Thanks a lot bro. You motivated me to leave that life behind. All thanks to you.
So I have been going to the gym for about a year & a half trying to tone back up and build muscle. Always have been athletic but after having kids, I really let myself go. I tried P90X, dabbled a little bit in CrossFit, and tried a few other exercise regimes. I felt consistently inconsistent in anything that I did. I ran across your channel and started watching some of your videos. I downloaded your app and started doing the workouts everyday. I still struggle with the beginner level, even now, (going on 3 months) but I'm seeing a huge transformation (for me). I went from 0 pull-Ups, to 6 unassisted. The app gives me a lot of direction and I don't feel lost in the gym. I really appreciate you and your team, and thanks for being humble and wanting to see people succeed.
Having kids should not be an excuse not to exercise and just let yourself go. It should be motivation to carry on so that your kids will learn from you
I tried some regular ones today, my fat ass almost dislocated my shoulders and broke my arms, I also got blisters. Time to do some Australian ones first
I love how Chris does the whole thing to teach us what to do not like others who only tell us what to do and what will happen. Love you man truly an inspiration for me keep shining
Im 90kg and 5’7 , 2 months ago I cannot even do 1 pull-up, I started watching This video and start doing the Australia pull-up for 3 weeks, after that i do jumping pull-ups , then jumping negative , then i use rubber bands to make a clean and perfect pull-up. And today i manage to do 5 pull-up (at my chest level ) The first time i do a perfect pull-up, i remember 2 months ago that i was struggling to lift my body up... After that tears of joy just hits me man.... Very thankful to Mr.Chris Heria for giving a free lessons... God Bless you man 🙏🏻
I’m a poolee in the delayed entry program for the marine corps, we have to be able to do at a bare minimum of 3 full perfect pull-ups before we can even get shipped to bootcamp. Using this I started barely able to do 1-1/2 ish pull-ups. Now I can do 8 perfect form pull-ups after 3 ish weeks
I am a beginner calisthenics athlete and I began my journey around 5 months ago. I have mastered basic calisthenic moves like push ups, squats and dips but I still cannot do a single pull up. I have watched a lot of videos and read a lot of articles but you sir are a genius! I am definitely going to try this out. Hoping it helps me to master my pull ups. Thank you so much.
Found this incredibly helpful. Of course, it looks so much easier, seeing you have the perfect form - but you explained it extremely well. Thank you Chris!
I started in August 2019 on 5:09 did 1 session, which hurt my elbow, which was broken in 2006 so bad, that I am only now recovered. Not kidding. Years of triathlon training and training in the gym and still such a "simple" move got me. I will get back.
The way how you doing it . This techniques is a genius. It is not only focusing on just pull up and one part of the body . It’a really helpful for the long term exercise for any kind of exercise Its building up a strength, and a wider aims to get your goal easily. This Man is a legend the right way to start and finish and to be honest he is doing everything naturally not as many instructor I have seen on UA-cam and other places . be much stronger sooner. ‘’ I love what I see,and I see what do I like. ‘’
Excellant video. Did Australian Pull Ups today with some negative muscle ups and straight bar dips for my Basics pratice day. I remeber all you said that the basics need to be mastered so I am devoting a day strictly for basic's.
Deff been seeing progress from following your videos for the last few weeks. I am a former athlete and have forgotten a lot of the workouts and not having a coach doesn't help. Your videos have helped me bounce back really quick though!
Im gonna fallow step by step learn pull ups. I did 4 pull ups but I will use your technique to learn pull up at the moment I don’t have the strength to do pull ups sets.
So i started these Australian pull ups today. And i could do only one set of 3 of each of the first 3 grips. I tried doing the second set but couldn't, i tried trust me. I'll be updating this after a week. Hopefully the number will increase from 3 to 5 in one set. And to whoever is reading this, get your ass to the park and start those Australian pull ups right now! You got this king
Watching you makes pull ups look so so easy like it makes me go and do them and when i actually try and cant do one im so dissapointed but bcs od this video ima train hard for that one but gold pull up! Youre a God,like ur videos should be seen by whole world dude..
Exactly what he says, also remember not to give up. Doesn’t matter if you can’t do much reps. There will be some people that will be jerks and will make fun of you because they’re jealous. Then there’s people who WILL help you ALWAYS, this are those who you gotta stay close to. These people will make your reps increase because of motivation. Idk why I said this tho I just felt like I had to say something about jerks and good ppl. Now, there’s another type of motivation / inspiration, maybe my favourite and the reason I’m training. Yourself. The one who’s gonna change is you. If you don’t change physically, you will increase reps, you always have to look at your improvement, you will notice how you’ve progressed and you will be proud of yourself. The progress could be slow, but don’t stop, be proud of yourself because you started and you’re giving your best. Good Morning / Night / Evening wtvr.
No matter the number of pull ups or chin ups you do, Always strive for quality reps over quantity. Don't want a fellow calisthenics athlete become a crossfitter would we? (♡˙︶˙♡)

Elena Addams i dont think so......but not doing anything and smoking all day long in college does.
9:50... and he turns gravity off and inflates himself with helium!
lol
If you mean in the room, helium doesn't work like that, you need gravity, because which way will it go?
VitalGaming 90 It would still help because the helium replaces air which reduces mass meaning less force is needed to move the body
Feels like something is shooting him upwards

How long do I give my body to rest before I can repeat this workout? Is this a daily workout routine?
Workout 4-5 days a week and have around 48 hours of rest. Rest is key because during rest your muscles are rebuilding, becoming bigger, and stronger
